A total success? Some glitches in the Western Bombing of Syria

Two US missiles launched during the Western bombing of Syria did not
successfully detonate. Both these explosives have been sent to Russia for
analysis [1].

The US and Russian technology in this type of weapon are radically
different. As a result, progress made in one system, is difficult to
transplant to and bring benefits to the other system. That said, Russian
military engineers do intend to study the US missiles to improve the
Russian anti-missile system.

A French air plane, Rafale, which was not capable of bringing down one of
the two Scalp-EG missiles had to land [2].

Three naval cruise missiles made in France meant to be fired against Syria,
could not be launched from the French multi-mission frigates [3]. These
high-tech missiles which come at the considerable cost of around 2.8
million euro per missile, have never been used in combat.

Both the US and French governments have tried to smooth away these
problems, declaring on 14 April 2018 that the joint operation against Syria
had been a total success.

From Moscow, the Russian Defence Minister revealed that more than two
thirds of the missiles used in the Western attack against Syria had been
destroyed in flight by Syria Arab Army, a fact that both the US and the
French governments contest [4].

Why Western Medicine Will Never Cure Cancer

Next Story

If you have ever walked, ran, ridden, played a sport or grown a moustache in support of large corporate-sponsored drives to cure cancer, you are to be sincerely commended for your time, your effort, and your concern for your fellow human beings. Just know that such efforts have not—and will never—contribute to finding a cure for cancer.

That Western cancer research is organized as a business whose fundamental motivation is profit is the subject of numerous excellent books and documentaries, among them Forest Gamble’s Thrive and Ty Bollinger’s The Truth About Cancer.

However in this article I would like to focus more on the notion that the very scientific model that Western medicine is founded on, and its singular focus on material processes, keeps it inescapably shut off from deeper causes of cancer—and thus renders it useless as an endeavor to actually find a cure.

Roundabout Definition

The National Cancer Institute defines cancer this way:

Cancer is the name given to a collection of related diseases. In all types of cancer, some of the body’s cells begin to divide without stopping and spread into surrounding tissues.

As we can see, this definition only defines the symptoms of the disease—one or more cells dividing uncontrollably—and does not attempt to identify the root causes of such aberrant cell division nor an overall ‘character’ that would more properly justify grouping a collection of diseases under the broad moniker ‘cancer’.

Tumors Are Not Cancer

It has been widely observed that our bodies manage ‘cancerous’ cells on a daily basis. Cells that show early signs of abnormal growth trigger mechanisms to repair those cells, suspend their growth, or fully kill them off.

Unlimited cell growth that leads to a tumor (an abnormal mass of tissue) can only happen if an individual cell goes through a host of discrete genetic mutations to render it incapable of containing its own growth. And even if this occurs, a number of larger-scale mechanisms under the purview of the immune system would need to be rendered ineffective in order for a cancerous cell to grow into a tumor large enough to be detected.

Which begs the question: if a healthy organism supplies a vast array of devices to prevent the incidence of cancer, should we not be looking towards the conditions that cause an organism to become unhealthy in our attempt to ultimately arrive at the cause of cancer and its subsequent cure?

Random Genetics

In earlier times, the Western Medical Establishment maintained that cancer is a disease founded on genetic inheritance and random genetic mutation. This put an individual’s environment, mental/emotional state and lifestyle choices completely out of the cancer treatment conversation. Of course this was by design. Cancer sufferers were forced to put the entire business of curing their cancer in the hands of the professional, their ‘trusted’ oncologist.

In recent years, Western medicine has had to slowly (and grudgingly) admit to the impact of environmental factors. They now give lip service to warning the public about potential ‘carcinogens’.

However they continue to promote cancer treatment as the domain of the professional, rather than the individuals themselves. A person can quit smoking, for example, or avoid foods that have been labeled carcinogens, but if a cancerous tumor is detected, then the individual is still pressured into succumbing to the oncologist’s recommendations for surgical excision and/or the delivery of toxins. The individual still has no ‘role’ in their own treatment.

Holistic Paradigm

With a more traditional holistic approach, a cancerous tumor is seen more for what it is—a symptom of dis-ease, of an organism’s imbalance. The dis-ease of the entire organism over a long period of time suppresses the immune system and gives rise to the kinds of genetic mutations that eventually lead to the development of immortal cells.

Unlike the Western approach, factors that are not material are considered as the ultimate cause of the imbalance, including mental and emotional states. Stress, fear, and other negative thoughts and emotions play a part in interfering with and weakening the body’s natural defenses.

Cancer Treatment

With its focus on the material, Western cancer treatment is predicated solely on dealing with the cancerous tumor; hence if the oncologist removes all visible signs of cancerous tumors then the public should conclude that they have done the right thing and they have done all they can.

The weakened or mutilated state of the patient is of no consequence; this is simply the necessary casualty of a job well done. The cancer ‘survivor’—if they actually manage to survive the treatment—is no closer to finding out about or even understanding the underlying causes of their cancer in the first place.

A holistic approach is by nature much less invasive. At all costs the patient’s strength and wholeness are preserved. The practitioner puts together a plan in partnership with the patient to restore balance and proper functioning within the organism. The ultimate objective is to empower the organism itself to use its natural defenses to erode and eventually eliminate the tumors.

For the holistic practitioner, then, the very same kinds of tumors in different patients are often seen as having completely different causes, based on the particularities of the whole person. For Western doctors, identical tumors yield the same treatment recommendations, because they are only focused on the tumor itself.

Cancer Research

Western cancer research is thus centered on improving ways in which tumors can be removed or put into remission. Even their research into the genetic mutations that give rise to tumors does not look for a cause beyond material processes.

The ‘Fight Against Cancer’, still the battle cry for motivating people to give their time, effort, and money to Western cancer research, is an old paradigm that presents cancer as an invader from the outside. The Western researcher is cast as the tireless hero who will eventually find the ‘silver bullet’ that will cure cancer. But this is complete fantasy.

A cancerous cell is the native product of an organism that is no longer functioning according to its original blueprint. The way a cancerous cell develops exhibits a complex intelligence about its host organism, as though it was actually the organism’s attempt to give attention to its own diseased state.

The ultimate cure—beyond the reach of Western medicine—rests in being able to restore whole organisms to a state of balance and harmony, in partnership with the person themselves stricken with the disease. For those of us wanting to actually help find a cure for cancer, we might consider supporting research that is actually seeking to identify its root causes.

Western Media Finally Investigates Alleged Chemical Attack in Syria and Finds “NO EVIDENCE”

Douma, Syria – Critically acclaimed war reporter Robert Fisk published a stunning account of the alleged chemical attack in the Damascus suburb of Douma on April 7, which included testimony from a doctor who works at the hospital featured in the widely circulated video purported to be the aftermath of a Syrian government chemical strike.

In an exclusive first-hand report for the Independent, Fisk, who has twice won the British Press Awards’ Journalist of the Year prize and is a seven-time winner of the British Press Awards’ Foreign Correspondent of the Year, reported:

This is the story of a town called Douma, a ravaged, stinking place of smashed apartment blocks–and of an underground clinic whose images of suffering allowed three of the Western world’s most powerful nations to bomb Syria last week. There’s even a friendly doctor in a green coat who, when I track him down in the very same clinic, cheerfully tells me that the “gas” videotape which horrified the world– despite all the doubters–is perfectly genuine.

War stories, however, have a habit of growing darker. For the same 58-year old senior Syrian doctor then adds something profoundly uncomfortable: the patients, he says, were overcome not by gas but by oxygen starvation in the rubbish-filled tunnels and basements in which they lived, on a night of wind and heavy shelling that stirred up a dust storm.

Contrary to the narrative faithfully reported by western mass media, the bombshell report from Fisk—who became famous for being among the few reporters in history to conduct face-to-face interviews with Osama bin Laden, which he did on three occasions between 1993 and 1997—found, after interviewing numerous local Douma residents, there was no evidence to substantiate the reported chemical attack as claimed by Saudi-sponsored jihadist group Jaish al-Islam (Army of Islam).

Fisk reports that the Syrian doctor, Dr Assim Rahaibani, who works at the hospital told him:

“I was with my family in the basement of my home three hundred metres from here on the night but all the doctors know what happened. There was a lot of shelling [by government forces] and aircraft were always over Douma at night–but on this night, there was wind and huge dust clouds began to come into the basements and cellars where people lived. People began to arrive here suffering from hypoxia, oxygen loss. Then someone at the door, a ‘White Helmet,’ shouted ‘Gas!’ and a panic began. People started throwing water over each other. Yes, the video was filmed here, it is genuine, but what you see are people suffering from hypoxia–not gas poisoning.”

Witnesses told Fisk that the infamous White Helmets, officially known as Syria Civil Defence, actually operate as a civil defense for the “terrorist” rebel forces. The White Helmets are largely funded by the U.S. and UK governments and were founded in 2013 by James Le Mesurier, a former British military intelligence officer, and private security specialist.

Providing perhaps additional evidence that the White Helmets operate not a civil defense, but a defense on behalf of the Islamist terrorists, Fisk reports:

The White Helmets–the medical first responders already legendary in the West but with some interesting corners to their own story–played a familiar role during the battles. They are partly funded by the Foreign Office and most of the local offices were staffed by Douma men. I found their wrecked offices not far from Dr Rahaibani’s clinic. A gas mask had been left outside a food container with one eye-piece pierced and a pile of dirty military camouflage uniforms lay inside one room. Planted, I asked myself? I doubt it. The place was heaped with capsules, broken medical equipment and files, bedding and mattresses.

Of course we must hear their side of the story, but it will not happen here: a woman told us that every member of the White Helmets in Douma abandoned their main headquarters and chose to take the government-organised and Russian-protected buses to the rebel province of Idlib with the armed groups when the final truce was agreed.

See how that works—the terrorists leave the city and White Helmets are gone. So, when people perpetuate the lie that the White Helmets are Syrian civil defense, be sure to correct them and note that they are the civil defense for the Islamist jihadi forces that are attempting to overthrow the government and not the Syrian people.

In regards to purported “moderate rebels” you hear about in the western press, the Syrians that Fisk interviewed had a vastly different outlook on who they were:

Before we go any further, readers should be aware that this is not the only story in Douma. There are the many people I talked to amid the ruins of the town who said they had “never believed in” gas stories – which were usually put about, they claimed, by the armed Islamist groups. These particular jihadis survived under a blizzard of shellfire by living in other’s people’s homes and in vast, wide tunnels with underground roads carved through the living rock by prisoners with pick-axes on three levels beneath the town. I walked through three of them yesterday, vast corridors of living rock which still contained Russian–yes, Russian–rockets and burned-out cars.

So the story of Douma is thus not just a story of gas–or no gas, as the case may be. It’s about thousands of people who did not opt for evacuation from Douma on buses that left last week, alongside the gunmen with whom they had to live like troglodytes for months in order to survive. I walked across this town quite freely yesterday without soldier, policeman or minder to haunt my footsteps, just two Syrian friends, a camera and a notebook. I sometimes had to clamber across 20-foot-high ramparts, up and down almost sheer walls of earth. Happy to see foreigners among them, happier still that the siege is finally over, they are mostly smiling; those whose faces you can see, of course, because a surprising number of Douma’s women wear full-length black hijab.

With a policy platform of destroying ISIS and fighting terrorism, the Trump Administration has seemingly chosen the all too familiar path of the U.S. covertly aligning itself with insurgent groups meant to operate as a proxy army to foment regime change that Washington deems of significant geostrategic importance.

While most Americans understand that Saudi Arabia is the most prolific state sponsor of terrorism in the world, the close relationship being forged between Trump and Mohammed Bin Salman leads one to believe that the perceived financial incentives (Aramaco IPO) of strategic partnering with the Kingdom seems to outweigh Trump’s voiced concerns over Saudi involvement in 9/11 and their funding of global terrorism.

What is irrefutable is that the Saudis have chosen to supply massive amounts of arms and funding to numerous Islamist jihadi groups active in trying to overthrow the Assad government, as evidenced by internal diplomatic cable, released by WikiLeaks in 2015, revealing the Saudi government was set on Assad’s violent ouster “by all means available.”

Noting the rigorous independence of his reporting, Fisk wrote that he came to Douma as part of a convoy of journalists escorted by the Syrian government, but according to Fisk, “once a boring general had announced outside a wrecked council house ‘I have no information’… I just walked away.”

While Fisk is sure to come under attack by critics, the New York Times has previously referred to him as “probably the most famous foreign correspondent in Britain” while The Guardian has called him “one of the most famous journalists in the world.”

Additionally, a report from Douma, Syria, by One America’s Pearson Sharp, confirmed Fisk’s reporting, noting that residents there deny an attack happened and instead claim it was staged by rebel forces in an effort to precipitate a response from western forces.

Sharp said that he interviewed between 30 to 40 residents of Douma, and in a series of social media posts, he wrote:

I just spoke with a Syrian woman who lives in Douma. I asked her about the attack there, and she laughed, and said no! There was no chemical attack or any other kind of attack.

She told me the area in question was in her neighborhood, and that if an attack had happened, she and her family would be dead.

I asked her what did happen, and she said the rebel terrorists lied, created the event from nothing, and used it as a cover to convince America and Europe to attack Assad’s forces.

Not making this up. Just reporting what people who actually live here are telling me.

Sharp emphasized that his reporting was not scripted or staged, but with actual local residents of Douma. He said that not one person told him that no chemical attack had taken place, but residents confirmed that they believe the alleged attack was staged by “terrorists rebels” so they could escape the oncoming Syrian army.

You can watch Sharp’s full report from Douma below:

Photo: Western grebes walk on water

Our photo of the day comes from San Luis Obispo, California.

Well look at them go! While they appear to actually be doing more of a scoot than a walk, these western grebes photographed by Rick Derevan are clearly showing off some skilles. Rick explains:

This is mating behavior among Western and Clark’s Grebes. I’ve read that the “rushing” grebes could be both males, competing for a female or a male and female, solidifying the pair bond. And they are the largest vertebrates able to “walk” on water, because they can take 14-20 steps per second, compared to 5-6 for a fast human. It’s a kick to watch.

Second shark attack at Gracetown, Western Australia after 41-year-old man bitten

Jason Longgrass, 41, is treated by paramedics after he was bitten on his right leg at Lefties, the second shark attack in Gracetown today.

A second man has been attacked by a shark off Gracetown on Monday just hours after a surfer was mauled in the same area.

Jason Longrass was bitten by a shark just hours after Alejandro Travaglini, a father of two from Margaret River, was attacked by a great white at Cobblestones surf break.

Channel 9 reporter Michael Stamp told 6PR a the 41-year-old Denmark man was mauled at Lefthanders break about 2.40pm, just two kilometres south of the first attack.

Mr Longrass said he had not realised the beach was closed, and said he saw a four-metre white pointer coming towards him.

Paramedics were treating him at the beach for reported minor leg injuries.

He told ABC News he had been “having a ball” in the water prior to the shark attacking, with other surfers having cleared out of the water.

“[It was] just heading straight for me, beelining straight at me … and just nailed the board,” he said.

A bite mark in a surfer's board after being attacked by a shark off the coast of Gracetown only hours after another attack earlier in the day on Monday.

“I knew straight away ‘don’t kick your legs, just swim’.”

WA shark expert Hugh Edwards said he believed drum lines should be deployed soon to catch the shark at Gracetown.

Mr Edwards, 85, said attacks on humans were so rare it was highly likely the same shark had attacked both surfers on Monday.

“Shark attacks tend to come in a series and if you can catch a shark that has been involved in an attack, that’s the way to go no question,” he said.

“But you have to do it quickly because the great whites are travelling fish and if you leave it until tomorrow the thing could be a hundred miles away.

“Gracetown is a notorious spot and I think there would be more attacks there than anywhere else in Western Australia.”

Mr Edwards, who has been studying sharks since the 1950s, said he had not heard of two people being attacked in the same day in the same area.

“Two attacks in one day at the same location is unusual,” he said.

“Shark attacks are so rare that it is far more likely to be the same shark.

“If it was a dog biting someone or a bull killing someone, there would be no question the animal should be put down, and the same with the shark.

“But you can’t catch every shark in the ocean because it is not practical and morally speaking it isn’t fair because the other sharks haven’t done anything.”

Opposition leader Mike Nahan said WA Premier Mark McGowan must act after two shark attacks in one day.

“West Australians understand human lives must be prioritised over sharks,” Dr Nahan said.

“It is a failure of leadership from Mark McGowan if he doesn’t act now.”

After War Breaks Out In Syria, the Red Dawn Invasion of the Western United States Will Commence

Red Dawn Paratroopers will be dropping in for a visit and they will be wearing blue helmets.

Last night while appearing on the Hagmann and Hagmann Report, I promised Doug and Joe’s audience that I would provide irrefutable proof of Putin’s intentions to invade the United States in a “Red Dawn” style of invasion. I stated that this article would solely focus on the military buildup of Russian-aligned military forces in Latin America all of which are hostile to the United States.  By the way, the Chinese are a part of this too, but in the interest of brevity, I will stick to just the Russian contribution to the planned invasion of the United States. Susequently, the focus of this article is very narrow in its scope. The article answers one fundamental question. Is America going to be invaded by a Russian backed Latin American force and is that force currently in existence?

As contextual background, I have postulated the following as I have connected the dots in several articles over the past 5 years. Here is a brief summary of my findings which you can find in several articles on this site.

  1. There exists a consortuim of Middle East terror groups along with Mexican drug cartels in Latin America that are training in Central America (eg El Salvador and Honduras). They are training MS-13, ISIS and any other paramilitary group that will join the fight. The consortium consists of coordinated  effort by the Peruvian Army (ie the Sanchz-Paredes drug cartel). This massive alliance is militarily supplied by Russia. It is supported by the CIA and Deep State corrupt members of the of the DEA, DHS and their friends at the United Nations.
  2. In 2014, massive amounts of terrorists (eg MS-13 and ISIS) were allowed in the United States by the Deep State elements of DHS where they set up domestic terrorist cells. Meanwhile, paramilitary training continues in Central American terror camps run by the CIA (eg the old Iran-Contra structure).
  3. A new wave of immigrants are making their way toward the US. They are a distraction. Their numbers consisting of 1500 people are too small to worry about and it is certainly not why Trump put the military on the border. Trump knows what is coming behind this intial wave of immigrants and this is why the military is on the border.
  4. I leaned and published that the forces of CALEXIT, the planned withdrawal of California from the Union, under the auspices of George Soros front groups, along with the Bank of China and the assistance  of the Mexican Consulate. are directly funding and supporting these waves of immgrants coming to the United States. Following the this intial wave of immgrants are the dangerous waves. They are the real terrorists trained in Central America.
  5. I maintain that these paramilitary forces when they reach the United Sttes will conduct massive terrorism on the eve of the planned breakout of war in Syria. The hope of these terorrists is to force so much domestic calamity that the United Nations will militarily intervene under the Kigali Principles signed by Obama and the UN during 2o16. This will result in a direct coup against the government of the United States. Do you think that this is far-fetched? How about the Cook County Commissioners threatening to bring in the UN earlier this year to Chicago to stop gun violence. No, not the National Guard, but the UN. What about all the articles, with photos, I have published on this site which show UN vehicles on American soil, etc., etc., etc
  6. The Red Dawn invasion of the United States will occur in two phases. First, as hs has been described will be the wave of terrorists. Second, once war breaks out in the Middle East and our forces are diverted, we will be vulnerable to an invasion from out southern underbelly. The rest of this article demonstrates that these forces, along with their allegiances to Russia, have already put into plan.

While we slept, Obama alienated all of our allies in Latin America. Former Secretary of State Clinton took actions that led to the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. The President of Bolivia’s plane was forced to land by American jets, because they thought Ed Snowden was on board (please note: This was an act of war). And of course, we know the fate of Hugo Chavez stemming from his defiance to this administration’s imperialism and his “El Diablo” comments directed at several American leaders, most notably, George Bush.

The 33 Central and South American nation organization known as CELAC are combining forces and will form the vanguard of an attacking Army moving north and entering the United States through Mexico.

Five years ago, I began writing about disturbing Russian military influences into Latin America, but very few people wanted to pay attention. At about that same time, I had company from more mainstream sources. At that time as Daniel Wiser of the Washington Free Beacon stated that Russia’s expansion into Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Castro’s Cuba had militarily aligned with Russia right under Obama’s nose.

It is time, America, that we give this topic serious attention because if you live west of the Mississippi, the following people could one day be your new overlords.

As Putin established strong relations with the nations of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), an intergovernmental organization established by former Venezuelan dictator, the late Hugo Chavez. The organization was created in opposition to the United States-backed Free Trade Area for the Americas, which has been seen by many Latin American and Caribbean countries as a form of American imperialism.

The Free Trade Area of the Americas was to be the final piece that would create an European Union of type or Confederation from the North Pole to to the tip of South America. The American plan consisted of the following incremental steps:

  1. NAFTA and the North American Union was a first step in that Canada, Mexico and the United States and create a 3 in 1 country approach to North America known as the SPP.
  2. The Central American Free Trade Agreeement (CAFTA), co-sponsored by McCain and Ted Kennedy was to create one set of nations from Canada to to the southern tip of Central America. This is what brought Dave Hodges into this fight. John McCain led a merry band of thieves which tried to force 300 families off of their properties without any compensation, northwest of metro Phoenix in order to create a super highway (ie Canamex) along with supporting infrastructure. I was a victim of this plot. I became engaged in an 8 year fight which we eventually won, This was the genesis of The Common Sense Show.
  3. Finally, the Free Trade Area of the America’s was to follow CAFTA and would create the super alliance of North, Central and South America. This is part of an overall plot for the globalist-orientated  Rothschild bankers to regionalize the world before collapsing the regional alliances into the one New World Order.

The Russians opposed this regionalization by militarizing Central and South America and Putin has managed to turn the entirety of Latin America into a hostile hot bed of military opponents who will one day launch a two-pronged invasion force into America’s southern underbelly in what has become called RED DAWN.

The Russians send large quantities of weapons to Bolivarian Alliance nations, as well as training their militaries and police forces, share intelligence, and have offered financial assistance to them so long as they opposed american expanisionist efforts into Latin America.

As early as the time period of 2008-2011, three thousand surface-to-air missiles from Russia were sold to Latin American countries, with the down-trodden Venezuela receiving the largest share. If you wondered why the US has not intervened in Venezuela, yet, in this former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton created crisis, I just told you.

Argentina’s former president, Cristina Kirchner, was one of the few world leaders to support Russia’s aggression in Crimea. Russia, in an apparently successful attempt to gain favor, has helped Argentina complete a third reactor as part of a nuclear power plant. And where there is a nuclear reactor, there will eventually be nuclear weapons.

Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa praised Russia as a “great nation”, while visiting Moscow in October of 2013. Putin was indeed praise-worthy because he promised to invest $1.5 billion into new domestic energy projects in Ecuador. Correa also stated that his country was planning on buying Russian military equipment. Russia has signed several billion dollars of contracts with Venezuela and supplies Bolivia, among other countries from the region with military weapons. The military package includes attack aircraft and helicopters.

Brazilian Defense Minister Celso Amorim, stated that “More than buying military equipment, what we are seeking with Russia is a strategic partnership based on the joint development of technology.” Amorim’s statement is consistent with the fact that Brazil, South America’s most populous nation, has announced that it is planning to purchase short-to-medium-range surface-to-air Pantsir S1 missile batteries and Igla-S shoulder-held missiles from Russia. Previously, Brazil has purchased 12 Mi-35 attack helicopters. Russia and Brazil have also signed an agreement for Brazil to acquire 36 attack aircraft. Amorim said Russia and Brazil would also look at working together on space technology and on defense against cyber attacks, an area that has become a Brazilian priority since disclosures that the NSA  has spied on Brazilians, their president and the country’s largest oil company. If this means what I believe it means, with regard to the development of space technology, we are speaking about the possible intention of the Russian militarizing of near Earth orbit with space based weapons (killer satellites?). Brazil is also one of the BRIC nations who is actively participating with Russia in the demise of the Petrodollar by purchasing oil for gold instead of the time-honored practice of the Petrodollar.

Putin has forgiven Cuba’s Soviet-era debt, and has performed naval drills with Venezuela and Nicaragua, and has negotiated arms deals with all three.

In Nicaragua, the Russians have established a counter-narcotics training center that some observers say could eventually rival the United States’ longstanding commitment to anti-drug operations in the region.

In an interview with Daniel Wiser, Jose Cardenas, a former George W. Bush administration official and assistant administrator for Latin America at the U.S. Agency for International Development, said in an interview that:

On a geopolitical scale, the side obviously with the United States and its allies in NATO overwhelms whatever Putin can assemble on his side of the scale. It’s his attempt to pretend that Russia can project its operations into the Western Hemisphere—just like the United States can project its power into Central and Eastern Europe. There’s a lot of sizzle and very little steak.

Cardenas also believes that Russia, not to mention Iran and China, sees a vacuum in Latin America to fill, brought on by the disengagement of the United States in the region thanks to Obama’s treasonous foreign policy.

My views regarding the danger of a Red Dawn invasion have support within the United States Congress as Dleana Ros-Lehtinen (R., Fla.), a Cuban-American Congresswoman and former Chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has expressed major concerns about Putin’s actions in Latin America:

During his trip, Putin met with the Castro brothers, the worst human rights violators in our hemisphere, and forgave some of Cuba’s debt, signed a nuclear agreement with Argentina, and reaffirmed economic cooperation with Nicaragua. Russia continues to undermine our foreign policy objectives throughout the world and its presence in our own hemisphere can destabilize the region and is meant to thumb its nose at the United States.

Professor of Latin American Studies at the Strategic Studies Institute, U.S. Army War College, Dr. R. Evan Ellis, has staed that  Russia has sold nearly$14.5 billion worth of weapons to the region between 2001 and 2013, about $11 billion of which went to Venezuela. Large quantities also went to Peru and Brazil.Dr. Ellis stated:

It is arguably Russia whose activities in the region most openly challenge U.S. national security. In addition to seeking access to ports and airfields, Russian leaders have also expressed interest in military aircraft patrols in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, reopening the Russian Signals Intelligence collection facility at Lourdes, Cuba, and providing “security” for the transoceanic canal that possibly may be constructed across Nicaragua.

In summary, Russia provides vast amounts of weapons, intelligence, financial and technological assistance, not to mention providing non-aligned Latin America countries with a voice on the U.N. Security Council, in exchange for having access to ports and airfields in the region.

In a very disturbing development, it can accurately be noted that the eleven countries that voted against the United Nations’ resolution condemning the Crimea referendum after Russia invaded the peninsula, four were in Latin America: Bolivia, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. In addition to those states, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Ecuador publicly abstained from voting.

Retired Marine Corp General John Kelly, former commander of United States Southern Command, a former Trump appointee,  sees a benefit to Russian involvement in the region…

What? Please reread the above paragraph. Do you understand after reading this quote from Kelly, that he is no better than Obama, the traitor? And we wonder why the Trump administration has trouble breaking free from the Deep State.

but worries that the Russian military activity in the region will eventually be an issue with regards to American hegemony.

But then the General made himself more transparaent as Kelly stated stated:

While Russian counterdrug cooperation could potentially contribute to regional security, the sudden increase in its military outreach merits closer attention, as Russia’s motives are unclear.

Thanks for stating the obvious, General Kelly, the Russian  motive is perfectly clear, the Russians want their third world country proxies to invade us. And to think that Trump appointed this war hawk Bolton clone to his inner circle? Danger from the outside and treason from within.

El Salvador is the source of what is coming our way with regard to the waves of immigrants. The first waves are benign but not the ones following. MS-13 is being trained in Salvadorian camps. Salvadorian President, Sanchez Ceren, has signed an agreement, in 2014, with Putin entitled “Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on the Foundations of Relations” which pledges economic and military cooperation with Russia. Ceren, was a self-declared Marxist-Leninist and is considered to be very-anti-American.

As I have previously covered, with the assisstance of a deep cover source within the DEA, El Salvador hosts training bases for a combination of Middle East terrorists and Mexican drug cartels as well as MS-13. I have been reporting on this fact since 2014. These are the components of a Red Dawn invasion force.

Just remember, when the war breaks out in Syria, the real danger for most Americans will come from south of the border.

Britain’s ex-MI6 chief thinks Western intervention saves lives, really wants to bomb Syria

The former head of MI6 was interviewed on the BBC’s flagship Today program on Thursday. It’s an interview that may well be studied by historians as the very epitome of the way the British establishment talks to itself, and fails to learn the lessons of its own actions.

Sir John Sawers was MI6 chief from 2009 to 2014, and absolutely buys into the idea that Western bombs have some kind of humanitarian power, which may come as a surprise to people living in Iraq, Libya, and Yemen, to name just a few.

The logic used to condone his call for intervention in Syria over an alleged chemical weapons attack in Douma was perhaps best summed up when Sawers said: “More people have been killed, more damage has been done in the Syrian civil war in which we didn’t intervene, than in the Iraqi war in which we did intervene.”

The BBC’s most combative radio host, John Humphries, did nothing to push back on the extraordinary logic of this quote. It must be an extremely pleasant bubble that Sawers lives in to come to the conclusion that Western intervention in the past has proved to be a force that saves lives and prevents damage.

The most striking part of this quote though, is that the former head of MI6 truly believes that the war in Iraq was an intervention. For an intervention to happen, there has to be a war happening in the first place. In Iraq, there was no more a war than there were weapons of mass destruction. Iraq was an invasion, based on nothing.

Sawers believes “the issue which faces Western governments at the moment is whether we stand back and allow that [use of chemical weapons] to go ahead without any response, without any answer and just sort of tolerate the use of chemical weapons, or if we try to restore the taboo against using chemical weapons, which is enshrined in law, but now is being breached.”

Sawers will be unlikely to reflect on that fact that the world beyond the West sees American and British bombs being dropped on developing countries, and asks when the taboo against Washington and London taking it upon themselves to impose their will from 20,000 feet, will be challenged. Launching strikes against a country which has not attacked you, and which has not asked for you to intervene, is also not exactly in line with international law.

So what does Sawers want to see now? Discussing Trump’s strike against a Syrian airfield last year over allegations of another chemical weapons attack, the former intelligence chief said: “It’s quite clear that the deterrent impact of that strike was insufficient, because the Syrians have gone ahead and done it again.”

So he believes it didn’t work before, yet he wants to do it again, but harder. The belief that if something doesn’t work you should do more of it to me suggests the foreign policy wonks coming up with these plans may need an injection of fresh blood, no pun intended.

Sawer was pulled up on his claim that Britain decided not to intervene in Syria, admitting that the West did support anti-Assad forces “at a level which was not going to make a strategic difference on the ground. We supported them to the extent that we could keep them going so that they could prevail.”

The BBC’s Humphries replied with: “Exactly, the worst of both worlds.”

Sawer replied: “That may be the historical judgement. That was the view that political leaders in London, Washington and Paris took at the time,” concluding “that is now history.”

Again, the interpretation of events from a senior member of the British intelligence community will be amazing to some. In one breath, he suggests that a lack of intervention cost lives in Syria, then he admits there was an intervention, but only enough to keep the war grinding on for years and years, costing countless lives in the process.

The West’s humanitarian bombs are hardly going to be welcome, and they may be “smart,” but they’re not smart enough to avoid innocent bystanders who will be caught up in the carnage. But figures like Sawers are in no mood to learn the lessons of their own history.

Locusts swarm in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, Western Australia

Locusts swarming through Western Australia's Pilbara and Kimberley regions

Locusts swarming through Western Australia’s Pilbara and Kimberley regions are costing pastoralists thousands of dollars in lost pasture and control efforts.

The warm and wet summer in the north provided a perfect breeding ground for the yellow-winged locust.

Pastoralists believed locust numbers had not been so high for decades.

Bettini Beef Pastoral Group general manager Mark Bettini said in his 30 years in the Pilbara, the worst locust plague he had seen was in 1998 at De Grey Station, 100 kilometres east of Port Hedland.

“You could not see the tin on the roof for grasshoppers,” Mr Bettini said.

“Last year they were pretty bad, I’d say as bad as this year — but this year they’ve done more damage because we haven’t had the follow-up rain.

“In some years they’ll hatch out, but you’ll get a big wind or a cyclone or a really big weather event which will probably kill a few and thin the numbers out a bit but that just hasn’t happened this year, so they’ve had a good go.”

Helicopter spraying, lost pasture costing thousands

The exact cost for landholders is hard to estimate, but it is likely to be in the tens of thousands.

“The cows aren’t going to put on the condition that they normally would have so we’ll have to change our management.”

Once locusts grow wings, numbers are very difficult to control.

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development entomologist Svetlana Micic said pastoralists should assess the cost the insects were having before they considered chemical controls.

“Once the locusts are winged and flying, the only effective control mechanism is to aerially spray them,” Ms Micic said.

“But when you do spray you do need to bare in mind that you can have re-invasion.”

For Mr Bettini, it was not worth the outlay.

“You could go and spend thousands of dollars a hectare trying to spray them, but are you going to make that money back? Probably not,” he said.

In the meantime, Mr Bettini said he would consider ways to make money back from the locust plague.

“It’s something we thought of — to grow grasshopper protein powder, with big nets to catch them. But that’s blue-sky thoughts.

“I’ll just stick to my cows, thanks.”
