Priest Loses Temper & Slaps Toddler During Baptism

A video has emerged online which shows a French-speaking priest slapping a crying toddler during a baptism. A shocked father grabs the child out of the clergyman’s arms.

The incident took place inside a church during a baptism ceremony, as seen in footage that emerged on Wednesday. Visibly scared, the toddler is crying, which apparently annoys the clergyman. After he fails to calm the child down, the priest ends up slapping the child, uttering the words “Calm down” in front of the toddler’s surprised and shocked parents. For a few moments, they look speechless but the father then grabs his child out of the priest’s arms.

It’s not yet clear exactly where and when the incident captured in the video took place. However, the priest is speaking French and the story appeared on a local news website of Martinique and Guadeloupe, French territories in the Caribbean Sea.

People on YouTube took to the comments section to express their outrage at the priest’s behavior. “This is in front of cameras, what would happen behind the scenes when you leave a priest and a child alone?” one person wrote.

CPS Tries to Kidnap Toddler After Mom Stopped Her Seizures with CBD Oil, Instead of Drugs

When a mother tried cannabidiol as a treatment for her young daughter, who was having nearly 40 seizures per day, she was amazed by the effects and thought she had finally found a solution after pharmaceutical drugs failed to work. However, after her prayers were answered, the state stepped in and threatened to take her daughter away.

Lelah Jerger’s daughter, Jaelah, began having spasms when she was only 6 months old. Quickly, those spasms turned into seizures and Jaelah was given antiepileptics, pharmaceutical medications designed to control seizures. Not only was the medication not effective, but Jerger said it produced harmful side effects that created even more problems.

After finding CBD oil (cannabidiol, derived from hemp), the concerned mother was amazed by how effective it was at controlling Jaelah’s seizures. Unfortunately for the Jerger family, Child Protective Services (CPS) got involved and threatened to take Jaelah away from the family, all because Lelah chose to treat her daughter’s condition with CBD instead of pills.

In an interview with People magazine, Jerger explained her daughter’s diagnosis, how CPS got involved, and how scary the situation was at the thought of losing her children. She said Jaelah’s epileptic condition was very rare but she was relieved to finally have an answer as to why her daughter was having spasms.

“She has a rare type of epilepsy called benign myoclonic epilepsy in infancy … Finally we knew what we were dealing with, but we were scared because we didn’t know anything about epilepsy at all.”

Doctors, who are only trained in most cases to diagnose and prescribe pharmaceuticals for illnesses, ordered Keppra—the brand name for Levetiracetam. But doing her due diligence and reading the harmful side effects of the drug, Jerger said she became worried when she learned Keppra, like antidepressants, can cause people to become suicidal. Worse still, the pharmaceuticals were not working. Jaelah was still having 40 seizures daily.

Jerger said she began to look for a safer, natural alternative to drugs. She found cannabidiol, purchased it online from a Colorado retailer, and began to give Jaelah CBD drops, twice per day. She said the results were amazing.

“We saw immediate results. We had a 95 percent reduction in seizures right of the bat. We didn’t have any negative side effects. She was a normal 2-year-old! … We’ve had absolutely no difference in Jaelah besides a reduction in seizures. We’re very grateful that we came across it (CBD).”

In March, Indiana legalized CBD for use in the state for certain illnesses, but Jaelah’s condition wasn’t one of the “qualifying conditions” listed. As a result of the legislation, the Jerger family believed giving Jaelah CBD would also be legally permitted. They were wrong.

As The Free Thought Project has reported on numerous occasions, when physicians discover patients have gone “off the reservation” so to speak, and have started rejecting their pharmaceutical options to begin treating illnesses with natural medicine, the authorities are often called.

Jerger made a grave mistake when she told the doctors she found CBD and it was working better than their pills. Even though one doctor initially told her, “If it’s working, use it!” eventually CPS was notified by the doctors and told that the mother wasn’t following standard protocols in giving her child only FDA-approved medicines.

CPS came the very next day. That is when Jerger said her nightmare with the system began. Not only did “Child Protective Services” promise to take Jaelah away, it threatened to take ALL of Jerger’s children away from their loving mother. All of it was done because she chose a safer, natural alternative to prescription pills that were working exponentially better by all accounts.

“[CPS said] … they would take her. We were scared to death that they were not only going to take Jaelah but take our other kids too.”

CPS officials allegedly did not prohibit them from using the oil, but ordered the parents to give the little girl Keppra as well. They also forced the family to submit to weekly drug tests to prove they were, in fact, giving the child Keppra. So without any legal recourse, the parents complied. About five days after the CPS visit, and after forcing the mother to give her the dangerous pharmaceuticals, Jaelah began suffering serious side effects from the drug. Complications arose, almost immediately, forcing them back into the hospital—and costing the family thousands of dollars. The concerned and now worried mother described those fearful and painful days:

“We had to admit Jaelah into the hospital to have her taken off the medication because she was throwing up, she wasn’t eating, she wasn’t acting like her normal self … She would walk around the house crying for no reason. That wasn’t what we were used to seeing out of Jaelah.”

Bravely, and without any regard to the potential legal ramifications, Jerger did precisely what CPS didn’t want her to do—yet what any courageous and loving mother would do. She took her child off of Keppra and then filed a lawsuit against CPS. Now she said she lives in fear:

“It’s a natural fear now. I still have nightmares about [the CPS visit]. I have anxiety about it and I keep my doors locked. The aftermath of dealing with CPS is real, but we’re trying to live as normal as possible…Jaelah isn’t getting high off the product and that’s what makes it legal in our state. Unless you’re walking in our footsteps or have lived the life we live, I don’t think anyone has the right to judge. This is not marijuana.”

The lawsuit alleges that CPS used its bully platform to violate Jaelah’s and the family’s constitutional Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable search and seizure when it demanded Jaelah’s blood be drawn.

According to the IndyStar:

“the parents claim that the blood draw of their child represents ‘a non-consensual search and seizure without a warrant’ and violates the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, according to the 11-page complaint filed Monday.”

The mother, who was only trying to find the BEST medicine for her ailing child is now on the warpath. She said in an interview:

“This is about them understanding that we as citizens have rights too … They have a job to protect kids … but we believe in our case it was a jump-the-gun situation…

It seemed like they were vampires waiting for my daughter’s blood sample … They came down with this hammer. It was relentless right off the bat…That’s our daughter. We weren’t doing something to harm her. We were doing something to help her.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is representing Jerger in her lawsuit against CPS. According to court documents obtained by the IndyStar, they allege:

“[The] requirement that J.J. (Jaelah) take Keppra represents an infringement into the Jergers’ fundamental familial relationship and, as such, violated the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

We interviewed one mother whose 19-year-old daughter is currently taking a prescription for seizures. She does not wish to be identified but relayed to TFTP the following anecdote. She said she had been reading about the benefits of CBD and asked her daughter’s neurologist about the oil. She said the doctor told her there were absolutely no scientific studies published about the efficacy of CBD.

We wanted to test that seemingly false statement so we searched the National Institute of Health’s website. Not surprisingly, in the search results was a study involving seizure patients with intractable seizures. Published in 2018, the study concluded that using a CBD product with a ratio of CBD/THC of 20:1:

“Our results suggest that adding CBD-enriched cannabis extract to the treatment regimen of patients with refractory epilepsy may result in a significant reduction in seizure frequency.”

Seizures were reduced by about half in the 26 patients who were already taking seizure medicines. Who knows how low the seizure rates would have dropped had the study not concluded at the end of 3 months. Not only has CBD been demonstrated to function as a stand-alone antiepileptic, but when used in conjunction with existing seizure medicines there is an improvement in frequency of seizures across a wide range of ages.

It is high time for Americans to be able to approach their physicians without fear that they will rat them out to a bunch of goons who only seem to know how to split up families using the full weight of the government. Both cannabis and cannabidiol need to be reclassified by the DEA as non-scheduled substances and the federal government must decriminalize the possession of the two naturally-occurring plants: Hemp and Marijuana.

No other parent should have to go through the torture of watching a government agency suck blood from their kids’ veins, and threaten to take their children away. Many believe, as critics contend, that the FDA, the DEA, and CPS exist solely to protect pharmaceutical profits. It is not about effective medicine. It is about keeping people addicted and dependent on the pill factories and their white-coated pill pushers. If CPS really cared about the child, in this case, they would not have attempted to force her parents to make her take the medications that harmed her in the first place.

Delusional pastor starved toddler to death to exorcise demon gets 99 years in prison

Aracely Meza

Aracely Meza cradles the limp body of a 2-year-old boy, praying for God to bring the starved toddler back to life.

The moment was captured on videos that a Dallas County jury watched this week before finding the Balch Springs pastor guilty Friday of felony injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.

The 52-year-old will serve 99 years in prison for Benjamin Aparicio’s starvation death, one month before his third birthday. Jurors also ordered Meza to pay a $10,000 fine.

Videos captured the hours-long resurrection ceremony Meza led after Benjamin died on March 22, 2015. In the video, the boy is frail, nothing but skin and bones. His clothes hang from his lifeless body.

Weeks before his death, Meza had ordered that food be withheld from Benjamin for 21 days because she believed he was possessed by the “demon of manipulation.”

The 52-year-old woman’s trial offered a glimpse into the control she had over congregants of her church, Iglesia Internacional Jesus es el Rey.

Her Balch Springs home, where the boy lived with his parents, served as a commune.

Meza separated parents from their children, including Benjamin while he was still being breastfed. Though his mother and father lived in the same home, they weren’t allowed to hold their child.

Benjamin Aparicio

Many turned to the pastor of the evangelical nondenominational church because she claimed to be a prophet.

She performed exorcisms and ordered people to fast.

Each video shows Benjamin unable to hold up his head. His collarbones jut out. His cheeks are sunken. His ears look too big for his head. His eyes dart around but never look directly at anyone or anything.

A photo of a healthy Benjamin shows the baby had chubby cheeks and a cute grin.

Meza testified that God showed her what he wanted her to do, including who should fast.

“It’s like inside yourself,” she explained through a translator.

She said God told her Benjamin should start eating again. He was taken off his fast Feb. 13, 2015.

“The spirit was telling me that Benjamin should start eating,” she said.

But Meza would still keep food from the toddler. When he didn’t say “amen” after a prayer or didn’t use the restroom properly, she would take his food away.

Dr. Suzanne Daikil, a child abuse pediatrician, analyzed the videos showing Benjamin, a “severely emaciated child.”

“The child’s limp, like a rag doll,” she said. “I need him in my hospital.”

Daikil said that if Benjamin had been taken to a doctor, he could’ve been saved.

A handwritten note on the refrigerator designated which days each person was expected to abstain from food.

But Benjamin was the only one kept from food for so long.

Prosecutor Rachel Burris asked Meza why she focused solely on Benjamin.

Meza just mumbled and looked down. She said that she realized after he died that she should’ve helped him.

“I thought that God would wake him up,” she said, adding that she was “praying, thinking God would make a miracle.”

Zurita testified that Benjamin’s parents were afraid to report what was happening to their son or that he had died because they were unauthorized immigrants from Mexico.

Liliana and Zenon Aparicio are believed to still be living in Mexico and have not been arrested, though they face charges. The Aparicios and Meza took Benjamin’s body to Mexico to be buried.

Zurita, 38, was also charged with felony injury to a child. She has reached an agreement with prosecutors for a reduced charge. A guilty plea has not been finalized.

“The state of Texas made a deal with a demon to get a bigger one,” Burris told jurors. Meza “allowed him to suffer, to waste away and die.”

Defense attorney Charles Humphreys called Meza “a prisoner of her faith.” But prosecutor Patrick Capetillo argued that Benjamin’s death was not about faith.

“This case is not about religion. This case is about control,” he said.

‘Officer of The Year’ Arrested After Neglected Toddler, Arsenal, Cocaine, and Feces Found In Home

Brevard County, FL – The same police officer who was awarded for his exceptional conduct on the job, was recently arrested on a number charges including child neglect and drug possession after neighbors reported hearing gunshots from his house.

Nicholas Worthy was named the top sheriff’s deputy in Brevard County in 2015, and he was named “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” by the Florida Sheriffs Association in 2016. He was also awarded the Bronze Star Medal with a V for valor in combat in 2010 after he served in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Worthy’s most recent accolades stemmed from incidents in 2015 when he was one of three deputies who saved the victim of an arson attempt, and when he was shot at by a suspect and managed to return fire after his gun malfunctioned.

“I could not be more proud of Deputy Nick Worthy for everything he does to protect our community and his heroic life-saving actions. He is a shining example of dedication to protecting our citizens with compassion, professionalism, and courage,” Sheriff Wayne Ivey said at the time.

However, everything changed this week when Brevard County deputies executed a search warrant at the home Worthy shared with his girlfriend, Rachel Trexler, and their 2-year-old daughter.  The Miami Herald reported that neighbors called 911 and said they heard gunshots and a woman screaming on Wednesday night, and when police were unable to contact anyone in the home, they obtained a search warrant and entered the residence at 6 a.m. on Thursday.

Worthy and Trexler were both arrested on charges of child neglect, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Their two-year-old daughter is in the custody of Child Protective Services, and their three dogs were taken by Animal Services.

Sheriff Ivey described Worthy in a very different tone as he revealed the ghastly conditions of his home during a press conference. In addition to finding shell casings on the floor and bullet holes in the walls of the house that were consistent with the reported gunshots, deputies found a horrific environment that included a mess of garbage, dog feces, cocaine, sex toys, guns, and ammunition.

“What was found inside was absolutely disgusting, absolutely deplorable, and quite frankly, just unbelievable. After everything we have found and everything we have seen, there is absolutely no other way to describe this except extremely disgusting,” Ivey said. “The house was in complete disarray. There was dog feces all over the house. There were firearms, ammunition, other types of trash, litter, food.”

Ivey emphasized the fact that Worthy was immediately arrested, and was not given any special treatment because of his status as a highly-decorated sheriff’s deputy. He has also been fired from the department.

“The one thing I can tell you about that home is that it was absolutely disgusting … conditions that no one should live in, especially not someone that has a profession such as ours, and certainly, with absolute conviction, not someone that has a small child exposed to that type of environment,” Ivey said.

Toddler Mistakes Sister's Wrestling Match For Real Fight, Runs In To Save Her

Family came first for this brave toddler.

The 2-year-old boy ran to his older sister Ruby’s rescue during her wrestling match at an elementary school meet in Columbia City, Indiana, on Sunday.

The youngster apparently thought Ruby was involved in a real fight with 5-year-old wrestling opponent Ryan, and charged over to save the day.

The kid grabbed his sister’s adversary and tried to drag him away, before the referee broke up the impromptu intrusion.

Grandfather hands stranger's toddler $20 bill in Target for most tragic reason

A mother shopping with her young son in Target was caught off guard when an elderly man gave the toddler a $20 bill — but when he explained himself, she was reduced to tears.

Alyssa Hacker, of Coweta, Oklahoma, says she was visiting the Fort Smith Target with her son Owen when the gregarious child struck up a conversation with a fellow shopper.

“We were at target waiting on Grammi and we found some dinosaurs,” Hacker wrote on Facebook. “Owen grabbed all 3 and we were trying to pick out which one he wanted when Owen abruptly yelled ‘HI’ at this older man walking past us.”

Hacker says the gentleman began interacting with her son, which initially made her feel a bit uncomfortable.

“He turned around and said ‘hey sweet boy,'” she continued. “He proceeded to play dinosaurs with Owen and with this crazy world we live in I was a little hesitant as too (sic) how close he was with Owen.”

But when Hacker found out the reason why the man wanted to play with her child, her uneasiness turned into overwhelming emotion.

“The man got his wallet out and pulled a $20 out, he put it in Owens pocket on his shirt and said ‘I just lost my 2 year old grandson last week. You take this money and buy this boy all three dinosaurs’ and rubbed Owens back, wiped his tears and walked off,” she wrote.

Hacker says she “cried in the middle of Target” over the brief interaction — and apparently, she wasn’t the only one who was moved by the man’s actions.

At the time of writing, Hacker’s story has received nearly 330,000 reactions and almost 125,000 shares.

“There is still some good in this world,” she ended her post.

Toddler Saved From Deadly Snake By Family Dog

Dogs are called man’s best friend for a reason. Not only do they show love and companionship when we need it the most, but they can also sense when we are in danger. In Sevier County, Tennessee, one family dog not only saved a family member from danger, but he saved a toddler from certain death.

Meet Shiloh, the Australian Shepherd that belongs to the Holloway family. Ever since the Holloway’s welcomed their son Bryson 18 months ago, he and Shiloh have been completely inseparable. Bryson’s father, Bryan, said that Shiloh and Bryson do everything together, and that as much as Shiloh “loves everybody else, those two, the baby and that dog, have a bond.”

Like they do on most days, Shiloh and Bryson were spending time outside playing fetch with the rest of the family outside, as well. Bryson had stepped off of the back porch like normal when Shiloh exhibited some unusual behavior. Bryan Holloway said that the dog “jumped up and took off after him. He lunged right towards the baby and at the baby’s feet, and when he did he kind of jerked back.”

The Holloway’s were confused as to what Shiloh saw that made him act so strange. That’s when Bryan hopped up and saw a snake near his son and dog. “As soon as I saw it…I knew it was a copperhead,” Bryan said. That was when Bryan told his wife, Alicia, to grab baby Bryson and take him in the house. Alicia was still confused as to what was happening and admitted that she was scared.

The copperhead snake is a venomous species that can grow up to three feet long and their bites can cause a lot of harm to humans, and it would be especially deadly to a baby. Normally, a copperhead will issue a warning bite without venom and aren’t all that aggressive, but that’s not a chance you want to take with a toddler.

When Bryson had been taken to safety and Bryan had assessed the situation, he knew that his beloved dog Shiloh had been bit since he was “Turning his head to the side and shaking his head.” Even with all of the fur around Shiloh’s neck, it was obvious that he had been bitten since the swelling was already visible.

The Holloway family took Shiloh to get immediate medical attention, where a veterinarian gave the Aussie antibiotics and pain medicine to treat the bite. It didn’t take long until Shiloh was back on his feet and hanging out with his best buddy once again. The family had always been appreciative of Shiloh, but now more than ever since their son likely wouldn’t have survived a bite from a copperhead.

Alicia Holloway said that “We give God the glory in everything, and we know that he used that dog, that wonderful dog, to protect him, and we’re thankful every day for him now.” They did not mention, however, how many treats Shiloh got on his return home, but we can guess that it was quite a few.
