Liberal college professor thinks women are too STUPID to study the sciences, so he decides to give them all an artificial grade boost to "compete" with men

Image: Liberal college professor thinks women are too STUPID to study the sciences, so he decides to give them all an artificial grade boost to “compete” with men

(Natural News)
Do women need an academic mulligan, of sorts, in order to excel in the traditionally male field of science? A professor of information systems at The University of Akron in Ohio apparently thinks so, as he recently announced to his class via email that all of his female students would be receiving an automatic grade or two increase simply because they have XX chromosomes.

Professor Liping Liu seems to have bought into the feminist narrative that women need to invade every single field where men currently dominate in order to achieve societal “equality.” And seeing that not as many females choose information science as their college major compared to men, Prof. Liu decided that he would artificially inflate their grades as an incentive, doing his part to help “balance the scales” of gender in the field of science.

According to reports, Prof. Liu apparently told his class that females would be receiving an arbitrary grade boost after he had already submitted these inflated grades to the university’s registrar. He further explained that females were getting preferential treatment over men as part of “a national movement to encourage female students to go to [sic] information sciences.”

Other students were also given grade boosts that they didn’t deserve, including students who had earned scores on exams that demonstrated higher performance than their calculated ones, as well as students who attended class but somehow missed getting on the attendance log. But it was Prof. Liu’s decision to issue grades using overtly sexist criteria that got everyone’s attention.

Female students don’t need a “crutch,” angry feminist declares in response to grade boost for women

Besides upsetting many students at the University of Akron, Prof. Liu’s flagrant favoring of females over males in his class became a point of contention with the school’s administration. Recognizing that it’s illegal to discriminate on the basis of sex, school officials notified Prof. Liu that he would have to fairly distribute grades based on merit rather than sex.

“While the professor’s stated intention of encouraging female students to go into the information sciences field may be laudable, his approach as described in his email was clearly unacceptable,” stated university provost and executive vice president Rex Ramsier in a statement.

“The University of Akron follows both the law and its policies and does not discriminate on the basis of sex. The professor in question has been advised accordingly, and he has reaffirmed his commitment to adhering to these strict standards.”

Several students chimed in as well, telling local media outlets that they believed Prof. Liu’s intentions were “noble” and a “good idea,” but that they were “executed poorly.” What this means in practical terms is anyone’s guess, as there’s really no way to execute discrimination against men any other way that would make it acceptable.

But this wasn’t even the issue, apparently. Rather than show any concern for the plight of male students with regards to Prof. Liu’s little scheme, several students, including nursing student Michalla Gordon, apparently took offense at the fact that female students would have been given a free handout that suggests they’re inferior to men.

“Everything should be based on hard work,” Gordon told the media, adding that she doesn’t think “that women need a crutch to get into science.”

Leave it to the feminist fringe to once again take the self-centered approach to an injustice that, in this case, would have been much more harmful to men than to women. But in a way, Gordon’s commentary on the matter illustrates the lunacy of trying to achieve equality of outcomes rather than equality of opportunity – which are two very different things.

Britain’s ex-MI6 chief thinks Western intervention saves lives, really wants to bomb Syria

The former head of MI6 was interviewed on the BBC’s flagship Today program on Thursday. It’s an interview that may well be studied by historians as the very epitome of the way the British establishment talks to itself, and fails to learn the lessons of its own actions.

Sir John Sawers was MI6 chief from 2009 to 2014, and absolutely buys into the idea that Western bombs have some kind of humanitarian power, which may come as a surprise to people living in Iraq, Libya, and Yemen, to name just a few.

The logic used to condone his call for intervention in Syria over an alleged chemical weapons attack in Douma was perhaps best summed up when Sawers said: “More people have been killed, more damage has been done in the Syrian civil war in which we didn’t intervene, than in the Iraqi war in which we did intervene.”

The BBC’s most combative radio host, John Humphries, did nothing to push back on the extraordinary logic of this quote. It must be an extremely pleasant bubble that Sawers lives in to come to the conclusion that Western intervention in the past has proved to be a force that saves lives and prevents damage.

The most striking part of this quote though, is that the former head of MI6 truly believes that the war in Iraq was an intervention. For an intervention to happen, there has to be a war happening in the first place. In Iraq, there was no more a war than there were weapons of mass destruction. Iraq was an invasion, based on nothing.

Sawers believes “the issue which faces Western governments at the moment is whether we stand back and allow that [use of chemical weapons] to go ahead without any response, without any answer and just sort of tolerate the use of chemical weapons, or if we try to restore the taboo against using chemical weapons, which is enshrined in law, but now is being breached.”

Sawers will be unlikely to reflect on that fact that the world beyond the West sees American and British bombs being dropped on developing countries, and asks when the taboo against Washington and London taking it upon themselves to impose their will from 20,000 feet, will be challenged. Launching strikes against a country which has not attacked you, and which has not asked for you to intervene, is also not exactly in line with international law.

So what does Sawers want to see now? Discussing Trump’s strike against a Syrian airfield last year over allegations of another chemical weapons attack, the former intelligence chief said: “It’s quite clear that the deterrent impact of that strike was insufficient, because the Syrians have gone ahead and done it again.”

So he believes it didn’t work before, yet he wants to do it again, but harder. The belief that if something doesn’t work you should do more of it to me suggests the foreign policy wonks coming up with these plans may need an injection of fresh blood, no pun intended.

Sawer was pulled up on his claim that Britain decided not to intervene in Syria, admitting that the West did support anti-Assad forces “at a level which was not going to make a strategic difference on the ground. We supported them to the extent that we could keep them going so that they could prevail.”

The BBC’s Humphries replied with: “Exactly, the worst of both worlds.”

Sawer replied: “That may be the historical judgement. That was the view that political leaders in London, Washington and Paris took at the time,” concluding “that is now history.”

Again, the interpretation of events from a senior member of the British intelligence community will be amazing to some. In one breath, he suggests that a lack of intervention cost lives in Syria, then he admits there was an intervention, but only enough to keep the war grinding on for years and years, costing countless lives in the process.

The West’s humanitarian bombs are hardly going to be welcome, and they may be “smart,” but they’re not smart enough to avoid innocent bystanders who will be caught up in the carnage. But figures like Sawers are in no mood to learn the lessons of their own history.

“Dumb F–ks”: Julian Assange Reminds Us What Mark Zuckerberg Thinks Of Facebook Users

Julian Assange fired off a tweet Friday afternoon reminding people of the time Mark Zuckerberg called his users “Dumb fucks” because they trusted him with their private information.

Zuck: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard

Zuck: Just ask.

Zuck: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS

[Redacted Friend’s Name]: What? How’d you manage that one?

Zuck: People just submitted it.

Zuck: I don’t know why.

Zuck: They “trust me”

Zuck: Dumb fucks.

The exchange, originally published by Business Insider‘s editor-in-chief Nicholas Carlson in 2010, was an early instant messenger conversation then 19-year-old Zuckerberg had with a college friend shortly after he launched “The Facebook” in his dorm room.

At the time Business Insider published the exchange, Facebook had “faced one privacy flap after another, usually following changes to the privacy policy or new product releases.”

But the company’s attitude toward privacy, as reflected in Mark’s early emails and IMs, features like Beacon and Instant Personalization, and the frequent changes to the privacy policy, has been consistently aggressive: Do something first, then see how people react.

And this does appear to reflect Mark’s own views of privacy, which seem to be that people shouldn’t care about it as much as they do — an attitude that very much reflects the attitude of his generation.

After all, here’s what early Facebook engineering boss, Harvard alum, and Zuckerberg confidant Charlie Cheever said in David Kirkpatrick’s brilliantly-reported upcoming book The Facebook Effect.

“I feel Mark doesn’t believe in privacy that much, or at least believes in privacy as a stepping stone. Maybe he’s right, maybe he’s wrong.”

Kirkpatrick had this to say about Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg in his book:

“Mark really does believe very much in transparency and the vision of an open society and open world, and so he wants to push people that way. I think he also understands that the way to get there is to give people granular control and comfort. He hopes you’ll get more open, and he’s kind of happy to help you get there. So for him, it’s more of a means to an end. For me, I’m not as sure.”

Zuckerberg reportedly hacked into people’s email using their TheFacebook passwords…

At one point early on on Facebook history, Zuckerberg – nervous about an upcoming report in the Harvard Crimson, used “TheFacebook” login data of Crimson staff to crack into their Harvard email accounts to see if the paper was going to include a claim that he had stolen an idea for a TheFacebook feature called “Visualize Your Buddy.”

Tim and Elisabeth decided to drop John’s claims from the story. But, this time, they decided to go ahead and publish a story on ConnectU’s claims against Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg was not content to wait until the morning to find out if the Crimson would include John’s accusations in its story.

Instead, he decided to access the email accounts of Crimson editors and review their emails. How did he do this? Here’s how Mark described his hack to a friend:

Mark used his site,, to look up members of the site who identified themselves as members of the Crimson. Then he examined a log of failed logins to see if any of the Crimson members had ever entered an incorrect password into If the cases in which they had entered failed logins, Mark tried to use them to access the Crimson members’ Harvard email accounts. He successfully accessed two of them.

In other words, Mark appears to have used private login data from TheFacebook to hack into the separate email accounts of some TheFacebook users.

In one account he accessed, Mark saw an email from Crimson writer Tim McGinn to Cameron, Tyler, and Divya. Another email Mark read was this one, from Crimson managing editor Elisabeth Theodore to Tim McGinn:

From: Elisabeth Susan Theodore
To: Timothy John McGinn
Subject: Re: Follow-up

OK, he did seem very sleazy. And I thought that some of his answers to the questions were not very direct or open. I also thought that his reaction to the website was very very weird. But, even if it’s true so what? It’s an [redacted] thing to do but it’s not illegal, right? –Business Insider

Lo and behold, Mark’s cavalier attitude towards Facebook user data is costing him billions at a time he’s actively shedding shares as part of a $12 billion liquidation which started last September

Rocket man: Self-taught scientist Mike Hughes who thinks earth is flat launches himself into sky

He finally went up — just like this self-taught rocket scientist always pledged he would.

He came back down in one piece, too — a little dinged up and his steam-powered vessel a little cracked up.

Still, mission accomplished for a guy more daredevil than engineer, who drew more comparisons to the cartoon character Wile E Coyote from his critics than he did to iconic stunt man Evel Knievel.

“Mad” Mike Hughes, the rocket man who believes the Earth is flat, propelled himself about 1,875 feet into the air on Saturday before a hard landing in the Mojave Desert. He told The Associated Press that outside of an aching back he’s fine after the launch near Amboy, California.

“Relieved,” he said after being checked out by paramedics. “I’m tired of people saying I chickened out and didn’t build a rocket. I’m tired of that stuff. I manned up and did it.”

The launch in the desert town — about 200 miles east of Los Angeles — was originally scheduled in November. It was scrubbed several times due to logistical issues with the Bureau of Land Management and mechanical problems that kept popping up.

The 61-year-old limo driver converted a mobile home into a ramp and modified it to launch from a vertical angle so he wouldn’t fall back to the ground on public land. For months he’s been working on overhauling his rocket in his garage.

It looked like Saturday might be another in a string of cancellations, given that the wind was blowing and his rocket was losing steam. Ideally, they wanted it at 350 psi for maximum thrust, but it was dropping to 340.

“I told Mike we could try to keep charging it up and get it hotter,” said Waldo Stakes, who’s been helping Hughes with his endeavor. “He said, ‘No.’“

Sometime after 3 pm PDT, and without a countdown, Hughes’ rocket soared into the sky.

Hughes reached a speed that Stakes estimated to be around 350 mph before pulling his parachute. Hughes was dropping too fast, though, and he had to deploy a second one. He landed with a thud and the rocket’s nose broke in two places like it was designed to do.

“This thing wants to kill you 10 different ways,” said Hughes, who had an altimeter in his cockpit to measure his altitude. “This thing will kill you in a heartbeat.

Daimler’s Truck Boss Thinks Tesla Semi Specs Defy Laws of Physics, Musk Thinks Production Tesla Semi Will Exceed Specs for Same Price

February 24th, 2018

Via: Electrek:

As we reported last week and discussed on the Electrek podcast yesterday, many people still have a difficult time wrapping their head around the Tesla Semi specs that the company announced last year.

But now CEO Elon Musk says that he is ‘optimistic’ they can beat those specs with the production version of the electric truck.

Earlier this week, Daimler’s head of trucks suggested that the Tesla Semi specs defy the laws of physics and is passing them by if they are true.

The German automaker added itself to a long list of industry people with doubts about Tesla’s ability to deliver on those specs.

Update: Video of Quentin Tarantino saying he thinks raping 13 year old girls is OK if they are “in to it” has been removed!

The below video has been removed due to “copyright” reasons conveniently today after the Huffington Post,, and published articles including it.

Here is a screen shot of this article earlier today.

And now…

This is clearly part of a cover up. Below is the original article.

I don’t know how This video fell between the seats. I have never seen it before today. As I listened to this Howard Stern interview with Quentin Tarantino where he is an APOLOGIST of Roman Polanski’s RAPE of a 13 YEAR OLD GIRL, I could feel the blood boil just under the skin of my face.

I felt like I didn’t need to ever say this… A 13 YEAR OLD CANNOT CONSENT TO ANYTHING without a parent or legal guardian’s consent. Even then, a parent cannot consent, legally, to just anything PRIOR to the act. SEX WITH A 40 YEAR OLD WHILE DRINKING ALCOHOL, AND CONSUMING ILLEGAL, SCHEDULE A, NARCOTICS UNDER AGE (BEING PROVIDED BY SAID RAPIST, ROMAN POLANSKI) IS RAPE AND IS ILLEGAL.

Let that sink in… Read what was just written above once more.

Quentin said it was not rape because she was “in to it”. Robin and Howard were appalled and agreed that it is rape, credit where due.

You need to be 18 or older to consent to sex, legally, in practically every US state. It is one thing for a 16 & a 17-year-old to hook up. There is some grey area legally there if both parents are somewhat aware and don’t see harm in the two dating. But a 40-something-year-old “man” (more like predatory human piece of shit) GIVING DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TO A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL to COERCE FALSE (AND ILLEGITIMATE CONSENT)… That is something else all together.

Fucking shame on you Quentin Tarantino, I hoped you would never make my shit list. Don’t let me catch you engaging in pedophilia. Including when you think they are “in to it”. I know what your colleagues are into. We have the videos. We have the photos. We have the tapes.

You’d better hang up that chick habit, hang it up “daddy-o”, or we will cut you up in two. – Chick Habit (off the Death Proof soundtrack)

Rep. Maxine Waters thinks Trump TV appearances warrant a parental advisory

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) thinks there should be a parental advisory each time President Donald Trump appears on TV.

The Democratic congresswoman’s latest statement on the Republican commander in chief came in the middle of her response to Trump’s State of the Union address, which aired Wednesday on BET.

“This president with his vulgarity and his disrespect for women and people of color is a terrible role model for our children,” Waters said. “Whenever he appears on TV there should be a disclaimer that says ‘This may be may not be acceptable for children.”

Waters chose to not attend the State of the Union on Tuesday night, and specifically called out Trump’s message of unity and bipartisanship in her response.

“Yesterday Donald Trump had the audacity to call upon people to set aside differences when, in reality, he has divided Americans in ways no other modern president has done,” Waters said. “One speech cannot and does not make Donald Trump presidential.”

The House Financial Services Committee chair has long been a vocal critic of the 2016 election winner, often noting that the Trump administration’s Russia ties will “lead to impeachment of the president.”

Aly Raisman Thinks 175 Years For Larry Nassar Is ‘Not Enough’

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman said she’s not satisfied with the 40- to 175-year prison sentence for former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University team doctor Larry Nassar, who has been accused of sexually abusing more than 150 girls.

“It’s like he got one year for each person, like that’s not enough,” Raisman told Us Weekly.

Raisman, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, revealed in November that Nassar abused her under the guise of medical treatment. Fellow gymnasts Simone Biles, Jordyn Wieber and McKayla Maroney also accused the former team doctor of sexual abuse.

“He’s gonna die in jail, but any number is never enough,” Raisman said. “I’m glad because so many people are watching and I hope that it does set an example to all the other abusers out there that their time is up and that abuse is never OK.”

Raisman has been an outspoken critic of USA Gymnastics, the U.S. Olympic Committee and Michigan State University for allowing Nassar’s abuse for more than two decades.

“We have to fix the problem and the organizations,” Raisman said.

Raisman reading her victim impact statement to Nassar in court. Raisman reading her victim impact statement to Nassar in court.

Before Nassar’s sentencing hearing began on Jan. 16, Raisman tweeted that USA Gymnastics is “100 percent responsible” for the abuse, adding: “We must understand how this happened to make sure it never occurs again… The system has to change so that athletes are safe.”

Raisman was one of more than 150 women to deliver victim impact statements in court during Nassar’s weeklong hearing.

“Larry, you do realize now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period of time, are now a force and you are nothing,” she said in court.

Nassar was sentenced last week on seven counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree. He had already been serving 60 years in prison on child pornography charges and awaits sentencing on three additionally counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.

“When I was little I only thought that I could be hurt by a stranger,” Raisman told Us Weekly. “I mean, you have to teach kids that it could be someone that you’re very close with and… we have to teach them grooming techniques so they understand the warning signs of a predator.”

This Man Thinks He’s Jesus Christ & He Has Hundreds Of People Following Him

Next Story

How much do you know about the actual culture of Russia? Many people have misconceptions about its culture, as stereotypes tend to falsely represent all kinds of cultures.

One thing about Russia is that it is a very strongly Christian country. If you meet a Russian or Ukrainian in the US, for example in California where a lot of them live, they are probably from a strongly Christian family (speaking from firsthand experience).

Perhaps this is the culture that allowed the cult of the Church of the Last Testament to thrive. In some respects, the family values and discipline of Russian people is admirable.

A man in the deep Russian depths of Siberia runs what is essentially a cult, claiming to be Jesus Christ reincarnated. Sergey Anatolyevitch Torop is referred to as Vissarion. He is now 56 years old. According to Wikipedia:

He founded and heads a religious or sect movement known as the Church of the Last Testament with its head church in the Siberian Taiga in the Minusinsk Depression east of Abakan, in the southern Siberia Kuraginsk district of Krasnoyarsk territory, in the small settlement of Petropavlovka.

VICE did an expose on the organization several years back, but recently the viral story was revived by tabloid mainstream media, pointing out that the man is a former traffic policeman. The VICE documentary is currently at over 9 million views.

According to a recent article from Mirror titled “Is this the reincarnation of Jesus? Meet the former traffic policeman turned cult leader being worshipped by Russians”:

Thousands of Russians think it’s true and worship 56-year-old Sergey Anatolyevitch Toro, who calls himself Vissarion and lives with his two wives.

He teaches reincarnation, vegetarianism, and apocalypse.

His worshippers include the residents of a network of villages in Kuraginsk, in southern Siberia. His followers observe strict rules and are vegetarians. They are allowed no vices such as smoking or drinking alcohol and money is banned.

It would make sense that the western mainstream media would revive this old story to make Russian culture generally look bad.

Certain moral values of the Russian people are certainly admirable, and particularly strong. A culture that appreciates family is definitely present there and is something to be appreciated.

Cults can form in any country or culture. In the West, people in great positions of power behave like cult members behind closed doors.

Mattis thinks that US military occupation in Syria is legal

Responding to a question on the status of US troops present in Syria, the
US Defense Secretary, James Mattis, declared that his country had a UN
guarantee to chase out the Islamic Emirates (Daesh) from Syria.

And following this, he declared that US troops in Syria would not be
withdrawn until the Geneva Process was complete, the purpose being to avoid
Daesh from returning.

The constitutional government of the Syrian Arab Republic has repeatedly
denounced the illegal presence of US troops in Northern Syria and the
establishment of US forces on the Syrian-Iraqi border and in the South.

Q: You know, Assad says Iran and Russia were invited into his country, you were never invited in; you’re there illegally. What legal standing do you have to — to you know, be in Syria?

SEC. MATTIS: You know, the U.N. said that ISIS — basically we can go after ISIS. And we’re there to take them out. But that doesn’t mean we just walk away and let ISIS 2.0 pop back around? as if we’re surprised either. So we got to get the U.N.-brokered effort in Geneva to take this thing forward.
