Churches Across US Make Pact To Stop Calling The Police—Showing They Don’t Need Them

A handful of churches on the west coast have made a pact to stop calling the police, in hopes of preventing ordinary disputes from escalating into violence. Church leaders say that members have also been encouraged to join them in refusing to call the police, although they know that not everyone will follow.

The churches are even going so far as to avoid calling the police when violent crimes occur because they are seeking to challenge the institutions of police and prisons altogether.

Volunteer leader Nichola Torbett of The First Congregational Church of Oakland is one of many people involved with this effort who believe that the current policing structure is beyond reform.

Can this actually be reformed, when it was actually created for the unjust distribution of resources or to police black and brown bodies? Torbett told the Washington Post.

Torbett must have been thinking of how some of the earliest police organizations in the country were slave-catching patrols, or perhaps of the history that police have of defending corruption corporations to the point where they are killing innocent people.

These views are shared by many others who have signed onto this pledge, including Rev. Anne Dunlap of The Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, who has also called for the full abolition of police.

“You’re talking about state violence against communities. You have to speak up and take a stand about that. There’s not a nice way to just play in the middle. There’s not a way to reform our way out of police violence but to dismantle policing as a system,” Dunlap said.

Dunlap said that communities could take care of themselves by relying on one another in times of need, instead of depending on an authority who has a license to kill.

“In the case of interpersonal violence, for the survivors as well as the perpetrators, we want to look at transformative justice. Would a punitive police and legal system actually bring us the desired outcome for everyone involved? What are our actual values? What do our traditions teach us about redemption?” Dunlap explained.

Sarah Pritchard, co-pastor of the Agape Fellowship in Oakland, even said she is proud to call herself an “abolitionist.”

Many of these pastors have referred to their strategy as a “divestment” in policing since this is really the only way to refuse their service considering the fact that they have a monopoly and are funded through taxes that are taken by force.

Police advocate Chuck Wexler of the Police Executive Research Forum told the Post that these organizations should be working with the police instead of against them. Wexler also said that the “police need the church,” but if this is the case, maybe that is all the more reason for the churches to withdraw their support.

“I understand where these folks may be coming from. They’re saying we have issues. But if you have issues, you shouldn’t cut yourself off from such an important institution in the community. Communities only have one police force. If they’re not doing what you want them to do, you should be engaged with them. It’s disappointing to hear when a community or religious organization decides they’re not going to engage with the police anymore. Police need the church. They need an active clergy. They rely on them,” Wexler said.

What Wexler does not understand is that many of these churches have attempted to engage with police in the past, and they have been involved with many of the actions against police violence, but they have come to a point where they have realized that there is no hope of reforming this institution and that its very existence is against everything that they stand for.

Unlike the notorious authoritarian evangelical political base in America, these churchgoers actually seem to be practicing what they preach.

WATCH: Power-Tripping Cop Attacks Innocent Man, Showing Us Everything Wrong with Police

Walnut Ridge, AR — With great power comes great responsibility, or so the quote goes. However, those who wield this great power over the public are often the ones who irresponsibly abuse this authority to inflict harm and oppress those they ostensibly protect. As the video below illustrates, this abuse of authority by power-tripping police officers lays waste to rights, puts innocent people in harm’s way, and is the antithesis to a free society.

The taxpayers of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas will soon be held accountable for the actions of their public servants as a lawsuit has been filed in response to infuriating tyranny caught on video. The incident began as a traffic stop and quickly escalated into an unlawful detention, assault, deprivation of rights and, eventually, conspiracy.

The victim in the video below, Adam Finley had done nothing wrong and had committed no crime when he was targeted by officer Matthew Mercado in December of 2016. Finley was simply on his way to work when Mercado pulled him over because he had out of state plates.

According to officer Mercado, having out of state plates was reasonable suspicion to harass and eventually attack and assault an innocent man.

As NEA reports, at the beginning of the stop, Mercado asked Finley why he was working on the railroad crossing. Finley was in an unmarked white work truck but had all of his work equipment on including an orange work coat and badge. The BNSF employee explained he worked for the railroad. This is when the lawsuit says Mercado took issue with Finley’s attitude and asked him to step out of the vehicle.

In spite of the fact that Finley obeyed every order the power-tripping officer barked, Mercado continued to curse, threaten, and escalate the situation. Eventually, Mercado would assault Finley by shoving him into the door of his truck and putting him in handcuffs.

As the officer searched through Finley’s truck, he continued to swear, threaten, and intimidate the innocent man. After flexing his authority for several minutes, this power-tripping cop eventually let Finley go—but not before issuing another threat—telling him that he would “ride the lightning” next time.

This would only be the beginning of Finley’s oppression, however. After he’d been unlawfully detained, Finley decided to file a complaint with the department to let them know how much of a loose cannon Mercado was.

Instead of taking his complaint, however, according to the lawsuit, the Walnut Ridge police department would then conspire to cover their officer’s actions and arrest Finley.

According to the report,

Finley went to Walnut Ridge Police Department to file a complaint right after this but that’s when he claims he was once again treated unfairly. He said he was interrogated by Chief of Police Chris Kirksey and Officer Matt Cook and following that, cited by Cook for refusal to submit and obstructing governmental operations.

The lawsuit calls this an attempt by the three law enforcement officers to “cover their actions” by charging Finley with two misdemeanor offenses.

Attorney Mark Rees is representing Finley and did not mince words he noted that the Walnut Ridge police had “vicious propensities.”

“If they would have taken the complaint, reprimanded the guy, and treated my guy respectfully when he entered the department, he wouldn’t have gotten a citation, wouldn’t have hired a lawyer, wouldn’t have came to my office and would have felt they did something,” said Rees. “But you live and learn.”

Now, because of the actions of the corrupt police department, the taxpayers of Walnut Ridge will be held to the fire.

The Free Thought Project agrees with the lawsuit when it refers to the situation in the video below as “outrageous and utterly intolerable in a civilized society.”

Below is a link to the Facebook page of the Walnut Ridge Police department. If you’d like to peacefully voice your concern over their officer’s actions and their subsequent reactions, please do so.

Cops Tried to Hide This Video Showing Them Taser Man, Knock Him Out, Force K9 to Maul Him

North Port, FL — Matthew Colby Poulin, 34, of North Port, FL was beaten, tased, and mauled by a police K9 after North Port Police officers said Poulin assaulted them. Video of the attack was captured on police dash cam and reveals a very different story than the one published in the Herald Tribune.

According to a press release published by the Tribune, Poulin attacked the officers, injuring four of them and also their trained attack dog. According to the newspaper’s coverage of the October 2017 incident:

Matthew Colby Poulin, 34, was charged with battery on law enforcement officers and a firefighter, resisting arrest and offenses against a police dog.

He was allegedly high on drugs and had walked into the wrong house thinking it was his own home. The startled homeowner called police to investigate. But instead of subduing the intruder, one police officer walked up and punched Poulin in the head, knocking him out.

Another cop deployed his taser on the seemingly unconscious man, and then the attack dog was sent in. At no time during the video can Poulin be seen attempting to strike an officer, and he made no attempt to flee.

As TFTP has reported in the past, Charlotte County, FL has a sordid history with it’s law enforcement officers and jail guards. In fact, former inmate Rob Tigro and fellow inmate Rodney McGee claimed to have witnessed two jailhouse murders.

In a TFTP exclusive, the two former inmates recounted their eyewitness accounts of abuse, neglect, and death, which the two men consider a murder, while they were receiving medical treatment in the medical wing of the Charlotte County Jail.

However horrific the scenes must have been for the two former inmates, they seem to pale in comparison to the beating of Poulin combined with the outright lies the Herald-Tribune seemingly published.

Not only was Poulin’s crime a case of simple trespassing, but the police department may have covered up a much more serious case of civil rights abuses. It’s unclear if police knew Poulin’s past before they began beating him and allowing their attack dog to maul the young man.

In 2006, Poulin kidnapped a couple and their kids, tied them up with tape, beat the couple, and then robbed them of DJ equipment. For that crime, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. At any rate, he paid for his crimes and may have paid for them twice as police brutally beat him.

Poulin has now been arrested again and will likely head back to prison. However, the charges do not fit the crime. The original homeowner who called the police to help Poulin find his way home refused to press charges. And the crimes for which he has now been charged do not appear to match up with the evidence: the dash cam videos. Those videos show Poulin being the victim of abusers with badges.

The problem of police brutality is so bad in Charlotte County an organization known as Charlotte County Cop Watch has taken to social media to highlight the abuses they say occur frequently in their county.

Video of Vegas Shooter Finally Released, Showing How He Brought In The Guns

It’s been close to six months since Stephen Paddock allegedly rented a room inside the Mandalay Bay Casino Resort in Las Vegas and then opened fire on on thousands of innocent people, killing 58 or them and injuring hundreds of others. Since that tragic day, victims, media, activists, and citizens have been calling for the release of surveillance footage that shows Paddock inside the hotel and, until now, these demands have fallen on deaf ears.

In spite of the dozens of Freedom of Information Act requests by local media and lawsuits demanding the release the surveillance footage, somehow the New York Times was able to obtain the exclusive footage allegedly showing Paddock inside the hotel.

In the chilling video, we see Paddock alone and blending in, never looking suspicious and even raising his hands in delight when he won $1,000 while gambling and eating sushi.

However, behind the scenes, Paddock was filling his room with dozens of weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

“Over and over in the clips, Mr. Paddock is seen leaving the Mandalay Bay for his home in Mesquite, returning with a dark minivan loaded with suitcases,” the Times reported. “Over and over, valets take his keys; over and over, bellhops stack his luggage on gold carts, helping him transport at least 21 bags over the course of seven days. As they take the service elevator upstairs, Mr. Paddock chats with them. He cracks a joke. He tips.”

The questions as to how Paddock was able to get this small arsenal in his room now appear to be answered thanks to the video—Paddock had the hotel staff load them up for him.

However, upon the release of this video, another question remains. How, exactly, did hotel staff not find bags with hundreds of rounds of ammunition—that would be far heavier than any clothing bags—suspicious?

Also, how, exactly Paddock managed to conceal the small arsenal of weapons from housekeeping is just as big of a mystery as to how he got them in the room in the first place without the staff noticing the weight of the bags.

“Toward the end of the footage, two guests carrying shiny plastic inner tubes get off the elevator, padding out in flip-flops. Mr. Paddock pauses to let them off, then gets on,” the Times reported. “It is the afternoon of Sept. 30. They seem to be on their way to the pool. He is on his way upstairs, where his guns await.”

What the video from the NY Times also reveals is that during the same time he was staying at the Mandalay Bay, he also rented a room at the Ogden just down the street. Internet records show that he researched the artists and setlists of another music festival which would occur just down the road from the Ogden.

This video provides some much-needed insight that the victims and their families—as well as all Americans—deserve to know.

However, it does not explain why he allegedly began shooting into a crowd of country music concert goers. It also does not explain why local police and the FBI have been covering up evidence and contradicting themselves repeatedly. Also a mystery is how the New York Times managed to obtain all this footage from MGM resorts and where is the rest of it. If they possess footage outside of Paddock’s room, surely they have the video of Jesus Campos being the ‘hero’ that police made him out to be. Where is it?

While the release of this footage is certainly a step in the right direction, this case remains shrouded in secrecy and deceit and until all the footage and evidence is publicly released, we all need to constantly keep asking these questions.

85 Years Ago, Hitler Carried Out a “False Flag” Showing How Gov’t Can Control With Lies and Fear

The whole truth about the Reichstag fire will probably never be known. Nearly all those who knew it are now dead, most of them slain by Hitler in the months that followed.

~ Historian William Shirer, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich

On this date, 85 years ago, the headquarters for the German parliament, known as the Reichstag building, was burned down due to arson. Immediately after the fires, the Nazis passed a piece of tyrannical legislation called the “decree for the protection of state and people,” which gave them total police state control over the population.

The fires were blamed on Hitler’s political rivals, which allowed the regime to be extremely aggressive against anyone they deemed to be their enemies. However, many historians believe that it was actually the Nazi party who started the fire, in a plot to control the masses through fear.

This strategy is actually common in history, and has been used by many governments and has come to be known as a “false flag attack.” Unfortunately, over the years this legitimate military term has been grossly overused to the point where people think that it is some throw-away conspiracy theory. False flag attacks do happen though, and there is even verified proof that the US government has been involved in such operations.

For example, it was a false flag attack that caused the United States to enter the Vietnam war, but it wasn’t until 40 years later that we learned the truth about the Gulf of Tonkin Incident.

Initially, the American public was told that American ships were attacked by North Vietnamese boats, but the whole story was a twisted web of lies. In reality, the US warships initiated conflict with the North Vietnamese, and then later staged an attack against themselves to justify further action in the region.

Since the beginning of empire, the ruling class has created chaos in their societies so they could be given more power, under the pretense that they would clean up the mess that they actually created. The first ruler that we know of to perfect the art of creating chaos was the Roman emperor Diocletian who came to power in 284 AD.

This is the “leader” that was responsible for changing Rome from a developing civilization into a covert dictatorship. Since the Roman people had a history of freedom and financial prosperity, they were not going to give up their rights unless they were carefully manipulated into doing so. Diocletian needed to create an enemy that he could use as a scapegoat so he could raise taxes, expand his military, and take away the rights of the Roman citizens.

His policies were unpopular and he was having difficulty getting his people to fall in line, so he set his own palace on fire twice in two weeks and blamed it on his political and religious rivals. With his new powers, Diocletian completely reorganized the Roman political system to work like a dictatorship, but he continued to call it a democracy so the people would still think they were free. Diocletian’s approach has been used over and over by authoritarian rulers throughout history who manipulated their people into giving up their freedom.

Many people doubt that these types of plots are possible since they seem so elaborate and require so much cooperation and secrecy, but it is not far-fetched to think that the government is capable of pulling something like this off, and there is evidence of this in history to prove this as well.

The US government has even released documentation, proving they planned multiple false flags.

According to minutes from a meeting on March 22, 1962, held by the “Special Group (Augmented),” which according to an encyclopedia on the Central Intelligence Agency, included Attorney General Robert Kennedy, CIA Director John McCone, National Security Advisor McGeorge Bundy and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Lemnitzer, detailing the creation of a false flag attack on the United States to be blamed on the Soviets.

According to the documents, the US government wanted to manufacture or obtain Soviet aircraft so they could launch an attack on America or friendly bases and use those attacks as a pretext for war.

According to the previously Top Secret classified documents:

“There is a possibility that such aircraft could be used in a deception operation designed to confuse enemy planes in the air, to launch a surprise attack against enemy installations or in a provocation operation in which Soviet aircraft would appear to attack U.S. or friendly installations in order to provide an excuse for U.S. intervention.”

Many of the accusations that are brought up against the government that get labeled as conspiracy theories are eventually proven to be true way after the fact. The official stories of many world-changing events, including the USS Maine, USS Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, are all drastically different than the government and media have led us to believe.

The video below highlights some of the most provable false flag attacks in American history.

Police Release Body Cam, Showing Officers Brutally Assault 84yo Grandmother

Mesa, AZ — An Arizona family has learned the hard way what calling the police to help a relative can often look like as their grandmother was hospitalized after a welfare check. Showing their incompetence, the welfare check was for another family member but the police assaulted the innocent grandmother anyway.

The Free Thought Project reported on the incident when it happened last week and this week, body camera footage was released.

Although they released the video, the Mesa police department deliberately blurred the entire clip. However, even low resolution can’t hide the sadistic act of abusing an innocent grandmother.

As we previously reported, Ashlee Hahn detailed the assault in a dramatic Facebook post which showed the extent of her grandmother’s injuries. Hahn’s grandmother was hurt so bad during the check that she had to be hospitalized.

According to Hahn, her grandmother “is recovering from her fourth stroke and is confused, cognitively impaired & barely physically able to stand on her own because of uncontrollable shaking.”

Hahn’s mother had called in a welfare check for her son who lives on his grandmother’s property. She told police her son was suicidal. Police were even given specific instructions not to disturb the 84-year-old because she is easily confused and fragile.

“The police were called to her residence for a wellness check for a close family member who lives on her property,” explained Hahn. “They were specifically asked not to bother or question my grandmother because of her present and very fragile state.”

In spite of telling them to steer clear, however, police did the exact opposite.

“They forced her out of her home into the street, holding her arms tight enough to leave bruises and bleeding,” wrote Hahn. “Her inability to hold still (because of her previous strokes, as seen in uploaded videos) inclined them to slam her down, head first on the asphalt. They handcuffed her after she woke from her unconscious state.”

Indeed, the video shows this exact scenario. Officers forced the woman from her home by repeatedly telling her to come toward them. When she gets by them, she was clearly confused and had no idea what was going on.

Illustrating just how out of it she was, she starts referencing officers being behind the cars like a movie. As she turned around, the officers grabbed her and then surrounded her.

“You are not following my directions,” says a cop to the severely frail innocent elderly woman. Moments later, the innocent grandmother is slammed to the ground as cops jump on top of her and put her in handcuffs.

When Hahn’s grandmother woke up, she was in the hospital, bloodied and bruised. Police then immediately began conducting damage control.

“After seeing the damage they had done & sending my Grandmother off in an ambulance, they called my Mother (who made the original wellness check call) and told her that my Grandmother “slipped,” Hahn explained.

To try and alleviate their liability, an officer was sent, not to check on an elderly grandmother who’d just been the subject of a savage attack, but, instead, to defend their fellow cop and his choice to inflict harm on an innocent old lady.

“The officer who came down to the hospital only seemed to care about deflecting & defending the officers involved. No accountability. No apologies,” Hahn wrote.

What’s more, to try to legitimize the attack on an innocent grandmother, police then charged her with obstruction.

Hahn filmed part of the interaction with the officer in the hospital as he defended his fellow cop’s decision to needlessly confront her (against the family’s wishes) and then violently throw her to the ground.

“Why did he put me down on the asphalt?” asked the innocent elderly woman.

“It is my understanding when I spoke to the officer, that you pulled away from him a little bit and he took action like that, okay?” the officer callously explains of how his fellow officer could somehow rationalize assaulting an innocent grandmother.

Pulling away from an officer “a little bit” in the land of the free will now apparently result in innocent elderly women being thrown to the ground.

“I said don’t treat me like this. I don’t want to have a stroke,” the innocent grandmother says as she shakes in her hospital bed. “I don’t want to have a heart attack. Don’t treat me this way.”

According to Hahn, her grandmother is “traumatized & feels untrusting of the people who she thought would protect her.”

Hahn has a message for the Mesa Police Department as well.

“If this was your grandmother, what would you do? Mesa police department needs to be held accountable.”

Indeed, they do.

In response to the incident, to Mesa Police chief released a statement reading in part:

This incident was captured by an officer’s Axon body camera and I have subsequently directed an internal investigation. Please know that I understand why this situation was alarming. It’s critically important that our department symbolizes trust and faith, and that our residents know officers will do our very best, no matter the circumstances. We all have a mother and a grandmother who we love very much; their safety and well-being are always a priority.

We have been in contact with the grandmother and her family. In addition, I will personally meet with professionals in our community who specialize in senior care to better understand their unique needs and how we can enhance our training protocols. We are a continually learning organization and this will give us an opportunity to reassess our practices and make any changes necessary to improve the quality of service.

Video Released Showing Police Kill Unarmed 17yo Boy in His Driveway—No Charges

Johnson County, KS — No charges will be filed against an unnamed Overland Park Police Officer who shot and killed an unarmed 17-year-old boy on January 20, 2018. Police were called to the home of teenager John Albers after his girlfriend said she was afraid he was going to kill himself. Police arrived and one officer opened fire on Albers as the teen backed out of his driveway.

The shooting was caught on police dash cam and one angle seems to show the teen start to back the family’s minivan out of the driveway before being confronted by the police officer. That officer fired an initial two shots. After the first two shots were fired, Albers may have been wounded and it caused him to push the gas.

The vehicle then spun out in donut-like fashion, nearly hitting the officer. Fully engaged in the conflict the officer then opened fire with 11 more bullets further wounding and eventually killing the reportedly distraught teen.

Once again, another American family is faced with the sad reality an officer of the peace ended their son’s life in the family’s own front yard. That officer has since resigned from the police force for “personal reasons.” Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe told reporters in a news conference with Overland Park Police Chief Frank Donchez that no charges would be filed against the officer because he was “following police procedure.”

Predictably, Sheriff Donchez took the side of his former officer when he said:

He was out of the way at one point, but as you saw the van turned around and came back at him…One of the misconceptions is that if you are alongside a vehicle you are no longer subject to danger. That’s not remotely true. One cut of the wheel to one side or other can take you down with the side of the vehicle. Don’t let the fact that he’s alongside the vehicle fool anyone into believing that he’s no longer in danger…A vehicle can be a weapon…That factored into our equation.

Following the shooting, the Johnson County Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Team (OISIT) conducted the post-shooting investigation. As TFTP has reported, in other states when there’s an officer-involved shooting, the police department from which the officer was employed cannot take the lead. Predictably, OISIT, after investigating its own county’s police department, found no wrongdoing on the part of the still unnamed officer.

Albers’ family issued the following statement on social media after their son was gunned down outside their home:

We are heartbroken at the loss of our beloved son, John. We truly appreciate the outpouring of support from friends, family and community. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and for respecting our privacy during this very difficult time. John was loved by many.

John Albers was a Junior at Blue Valley Northwest High School. He was a member of the Wrestling and Soccer teams and was involved with at-risk youth in a Kansas City based soccer league. The officer who killed him reportedly knew Albers but it is unclear how he was known by police. Friends of Albers say he was unfairly portrayed in a negative light but was, in fact, “loyal”, “courageous”, and “compassionate.”

Dozens of his friends gathered outside his home, wrote memories of Albers on balloons and released them following a vigil. The young man’s death is one of nearly 1,200 deaths by officers recorded yearly. He was unarmed. He was suicidal. And he was killed by a cop who was supposedly in fear of his life.

Fox 4 Kansas City, in its coverage of the shooting, encouraged its readers to call 911 if citizens are suicidal. Many residents will likely rethink that suggestion following this report which accurately details how a suicidal person can become a victim of homicide by dialing 911, killed by the very people who are sent to help. Something has to change.

DA Howe said police get 2,400 calls for help by suicidal people and their families. He admitted police need more training in dealing with the mentally ill. “Please give us more resources to deal with mental health crisis in the country…Unfortunately, the vast majority of our officer-involved shootings involve people with mental illness,” Howe said.

John Albers was born Valery Alexandrovich Zhemchugov in Belarus. He was adopted by Sheila Albers (Principal of Harmony Middle School) and Steve Albers when he was just an infant. Reflecting on John’s adoption, Sheila said, “John brought us much more joy than we brought him in this sense that he fulfilled our dreams of becoming parents…There’s nothing more beautiful than that.

The following is dashcam footage from the actual shooting. One can clearly see the officer open fire on Albers before he started driving erratically. Those two shots were likely unnecessary and would have made any motorist attempt to flee or cause them to lose control. Unfortunately, the officer will never be held accountable for his reckless actions, charged with murder, or spend any time behind bars. But if the average citizen had done what he did, they likely would be held without bond until trial. That’s what is wrong and needs to be fixed.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg clearly showing toxic effects of "chemo brain" … unable to think clearly, takes LONG pauses during conversations

Image: Ruth Bader Ginsburg clearly showing toxic effects of “chemo brain” … unable to think clearly, takes LONG pauses during conversations

(Natural News)
No decent human being should get their kicks from taking pot shots at someone who has had to battle cancer, especially when the person in question is 84 years old. Nonetheless, when that person is an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, and is clearly exhibiting signs of cognitive impairment, it is the responsibility of the authentic media to highlight the issue.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who has been in office since being appointed by Bill Clinton on August 10, 1993, is known for her stance on gender discrimination and became infamous when she targeted President Donald Trump for abuse in the run-up to the most recent presidential elections.

At the time, the president retaliated by tweeting, “Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me. Her mind is shot – resign!”

While President Trump’s response might have seemed harsh at the time, the truth of his statement became abundantly clear earlier this month when Ginsburg was interviewed by CNN’s Poppy Harlow at Columbia University.

The Daily Wire describes the interview as “embarrassing,” and notes that it drew widespread criticism because of Ginsburg’s total inability to collect her thoughts and formulate coherent responses to Harlow’s questions.

A horrified viewer named Bill Zankich tweeted, “It is PAINFUL to watch this…I nearly exited the video multiple times. Her thoughts are fragmented and there is no association between the question and her response. I cannot fathom that mental wellness is not esteemed as necessary when related to sitting SCOTUS members.” [Emphasis added]

Zankich makes a very salient point: As much as any humane person might feel compassion for an elderly person struggling in this way, if Ginsburg is not able to cope with a simple interview, how can she hold the highest judicial office in the land? And why are the mental faculties of supreme court judges not assessed, considering the gravity and responsibility of their positions?

While it might be tempting to write Ginsburg’s incoherence and inability to formulate her thoughts off as the ravages of old age, if one examines her behavior closely it becomes obvious that she is suffering from what is known as “chemo-brain.”

As Mike Adams, the Health Ranger and editor of Natural News reported in 2016, Ginsburg’s brain was damaged when she underwent chemotherapy treatment for pancreatic cancer in 2009. Chemotherapy is an incredibly toxic treatment that destroys both cancerous and healthy cells in the body – including the brain, resulting in impaired cognitive ability. (Related: Learn more at

The Mayo Clinic lists some of the symptoms of chemo brain as follows: (Notice how many of them Ginsburg is exhibiting)

  • Mental fogginess;
  • Confusion;
  • Difficulty concentrating;
  • Struggling to find the right word;
  • A short attention span;
  • Trouble learning new skills;
  • Inability to multitask;
  • Issues with short-term memory;
  • Trouble remembering conversations, images or lists of words; and
  • Taking a long time to complete routine tasks.

Interestingly, even before Ginsburg underwent chemotherapy, the Health Ranger warned that she should be removed from the bench because the chemo she was about to receive would be sure to destroy at least some of her cognitive abilities.

Adams asked an important question at the time:

Should the freedom of an entire nation rest upon the judgment of a decision maker whose brain has been poisoned with chemotherapy?

Sadly, Ginsburg was already cancer-free when she was prescribed chemotherapy as a precautionary measure. Likely her doctors never even warned her about what this toxic treatment would do to her. And now, after a lifetime of meriting people’s respect, she has been reduced to incoherent ramblings.

Despite Video Showing Cop Break the Law and Kill 2 Innocent Men, He Was Hired at New Dept.

Spalding County, GA — The family of a man who was mowed down by an out of control cop is expressing their shock and disappointment this week after the cop who killed their son and his best friend was given a job as a police officer in their town.

Justin Sullivan and his best friend Quentin Byrd were stuck and killed by officer Terry Belvin as they crossed Highway 7 in 2014. Belvin was driving his police cruiser at speeds topping 100mph. He had no lights on, no siren on, and was not responding to a call.

Dashcam of the horrendous crash has just been released publicly showing the disturbing scene unfold.

In the video, the former Barnesville police officer was driving 96 mph with no lights or sirens on making him nearly invisible to the two pedestrians. As the cop comes over a hill, he has no time at all to stop or swerve, sending the front bumper of his cruiser smashing in to the two men. They both died instantly.

“This man was dangerous. He was reckless. He was driving too fast,” Danita Taylor said.

Sullivan’s family was under the impression that after he killed their beloved son Belvin was forced to give up his peace officer’s license in lieu of criminal prosecution.

In spite of allegedly relinquishing his license, however, Belvin was just hired on as a deputy with the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office.

“I was just disgusted. More so than that, I was just shocked,” Taylor said.

When asked by WSB-TV what happened to Belvin while at their department, the Barnesville police chief said Belvin resigned during the investigation. Quitting your job as a cop while under criminal investigation is a common theme among law enforcement as it aids in avoiding actual accountability.

In Belvin’s case, that is exactly what happened.

After he quietly resigned during the investigation, the union lawyers somehow convinced a grand jury that Belvin did nothing wrong and he escaped any and all accountability for taking the lives of two innocent young men.

The Sullivan family is now speaking out, telling the Spalding County sheriff, Darrel Dix, that he should reconsider his decision to hire this reckless cop as they live in the very county that he will now be policing.

“He’s employed in Griffin, Georgia, and my children are there every day,” Taylor told WSB-TV.

Dix noted that he would not fire Belvin and instead praised the officer’s “pristine record” while claiming ignorance on the fact that Sullivan’s family lives in Spalding County.

Part of this “pristine record” involves the officer getting a DUI as well as being indirectly involved in the controversial death of another man.

Naturally, Taylor is calling out the Sheriff for disregarding the public’s safety by hiring this man who has already proven to be a danger to society.

“You should be ashamed,” Taylor said to the sheriff. Indeed.

As TFTP previously reported, a shocking report showed just how dangerous being an innocent bystander can be when police are behind the wheel.

On average, according to the report, one person every day is killed by speeding cops.

To put this into perspective, that’s larger than the number of people killed by floods, tornadoes, lightning, and hurricanes — combined.

Contrary to popular thinking, high-speed chases aren’t only dangerous for those involved. Innocent bystanders are all too often the victims of these reckless pursuits.

According to the report, more than 5,000 bystanders and passengers have been killed in police car chases since 1979. Tens of thousands more were injured as officers repeatedly pursued drivers at high speeds and in hazardous conditions.

Aside from the 5,000 completely innocent lives lost, an additional 6,300 fleeing ‘suspects’ were also killed, bringing the total to 11,506 dead since 1979. Even this shockingly large number is likely an understatement, according to the report. The Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) uses police reports to determine if a crash is chase related, and many of the reports do not disclose that a chase had occurred at all.

CNN Discredits Own Poll Showing Overwhelming Positive Reaction to SOTU

WOLF BLITZER: Welcome back. We’re now getting the first results of our instant poll of people who actually watched the President’s speech. David Chalian our political director is here, give us the numbers and give us the explanation that this is not necessarily a national poll.

DAVID CHALIAN: Well, it’s not. It’s not representative of the country overall it is a poll of people who watched the speech. Well, who watches a State of the Union address? Fans of the person giving it. So it is definitely an audience that skews a little bit more towards Republicans than Democrats in the Obama years it was the reverse.

Here’s what we found out. 48 percent of those who watched the speech tonight had a very positive reaction to the speech. 22 percent, somewhat positive. 29 percent, negative. Last year when the President gave a speech, that 48 percent was 57 percent. So he did late worse this year than last year, but still obviously a very positive reaction from speech watchers.

How about will his policies move the country in the right direction or the wrong direction? 62 percent of speech watchers tonight say that Donald Trump’s policies, as laid out tonight, will move the country in the right direction. And, of course, we also asked about confidence in Donald Trump’s ability to carry out his duties as president. As you can see, among those watching the speech tonight, 42 percent very confident, 15 percent somewhat confident, and 43 percent not confident that he has the ability to carry out his duties.

BLITZER: How does this compare historically with other presidents?

CHALIAN: So, here’s an interesting statistic. We went back to look at the State of the Union address at the beginning of a midterm election year where the president’s party was facing a lot of headwinds. Take a look at this. 48 percent very positive reaction across the board. Barack Obama at the beginning of 2010, he had 48 percent very positive reaction. George W. Bush at the beginning of 2006, in his second midterms, 48 percent, very positive. As you know, those midterm elections did not go well for Bush or Obama. Donald Trump, the same place tonight, 48 percent, very positive in the reaction from speech watchers.

BLITZER: But if the President looks at these numbers of people who actually watched the speech and there were more Republicans who watched than Democrats, he’s clearly going to be pleased.

CHALIAN: Well, there’s no doubt about it. He’s getting a very good response from people who are inclined to like him. When your poll numbers are hovering between 35 and 40 percent nationally, obviously looking at a poll that says 48 percent very positive, 22 percent somewhat positive, you’re going to like those numbers a lot better over national numbers.
