NBC lured Megyn Kelly from Fox News, where she was paid $15 million a year.
According to Forbes‘ estimates (via Inquisitr), NBC may be paying Kelly $18 million a year. That brings Kelly to the list of highest-paid TV anchors.
But it’s not working out that well for NBC. Boo hoo.
Carlos Greer reports for Page Six, October 10, 2017:
The numbers are in, and “Megyn Kelly Today” is dragging down the “Today” show franchise, an insider explained to Page Six.
“Not only are ratings plummeting since Megyn Kelly joined the ‘Today’ franchise, but the numbers show Kelly’s lead-in has also affected Kathie Lee [Gifford] and Hoda Kotb’s show, which follows straight afterwards,” a source said.
“They’ve taken a huge hit with Megyn as their lead-in,” the insider added.
Kelly’s hour of “Today” is down 32 percent compared to a year ago. And “Kathie Lee & Hoda” is down 26 percent.
“Too many people are tuning out NBC. Hoda and Kathie Lee had been a bright spot in the mornings. People are alarmed,” the source said of the slide. Another source told us that “Today” talent is concerned.
“The format for Megyn’s show doesn’t make sense. Her show distracts from the ‘Today’ franchise,” the second source said.

Over the past week, NBC’s Megyn Kelly has taken a lot of heat over her controversial interview with Alex Jones. You may be familiar with Alex Jones’ work at Info Wars, as he’s gained an extensive following after years of work in alternative news and “conspiracy theories.” To be clear, I genuinely believe that Alex Jones has helped the movement at times, and I recognize the role he played in my own life and my personal “waking up” process. However, he is also notorious for reacting and communicating in extreme ways, jumping to conclusions that are often false and potentially bringing a lack of credibility to alternative media at times.
Though his intensity is clearly indicative of the passion he has for his work, which is very inspiring at times, this type of reaction did not necessarily serve him in his interview with Megyn Kelly (though I’m not sure if you could even call it an interview, as it was clearly a hit piece against Jones as well as a form of political propaganda). We get into more details about this specifically in our latest docu-series episode at the end of this article.
If you haven’t watched the interview, you can check it out here:
When I first watched the interview, I remember thinking, this cannot be the full story. This was another clear example of mainstream media (MSM) not providing the full picture, and simply publishing a “political fluff” piece rather than real, honest news. To be frank, I wasn’t sure if it was even deserving of an article at first, because it lacked substance and was clearly over-edited.
It seemed like Jones’ responses to Megyn in the interview weren’t actually his responses, but rather misplaced sentences meant to paint Jones in an unflattering light and simply put words in his mouth. However, did Alex really expect MSM to accurately portray who he is? Most of what MSM spews is altered, falsified, or dramatized, so it’s unsurprising that his interview was no different from the regular narrative we see on MSM news networks.
In my opinion, one of the things we can learn from this interview is the importance of neutrality. In this particular interview, you have two very different people who represent very different things reflecting a similar state of consciousness. Both parties use extreme emotions and statements, both promote fear and anger, and neither of them are truly independent or neutral.
Megyn Kelly, who clearly had her own agenda, is not doing her journalistic duty by putting out a piece like this. Instead of choosing more relevant stories, she only focused on the Sandy Hook shootings. Not that this particular event doesn’t deserve media attention, but this occurred in 2012, and ultimately Jones has a lot more information out there that deserves to be discussed.
Why weren’t topics like the elite, occult rituals, Hillary Clinton’s corruption, or Jones’ work at the Bohemian Grove brought up? These are all stories that are far more shocking and controversial than a shooting that occurred five years ago, and that’s only four of many topics that Jones reports on that deserve to be discussed in the mainstream
Instead, Kelly only focused on one story, and involved one parent’s tragic loss. In addition, for viewers that weren’t well versed on Sandy Hook and the controversy surrounding it, they probably had no idea what was going on because she didn’t provide enough background information on the subject. Instead, she created an “I’m right, you’re wrong” dialogue with Jones, which serves absolutely no one. The entire interview lacked substance and evidence, with both offering mere conjecture and attacks on one another’s character.
Kelly also focused significantly on Jones’ ties to President Donald Trump, making it seem like this was a political propaganda piece. Kelly painted Jones in a negative light, just like MSM paints Trump in a negative light. Instead of allowing Jones to explain these relations, she only allowed him to get a few words in. Plus, by painting an inaccurate picture of Jones and then tying him to Trump, she has now associated Trump with “fake news,” which is ironic given that NBC is the real pusher of “fake news” here.
On the other hand, you have Alex Jones, who responded to the piece by referring to Megyn Kelly as a modern day “Medusa.” Don’t get me wrong, Jones clearly has reason to believe that Kelly had bad intentions, since she lied to him about the context of the interview, which he was able to prove by recording their phone calls.
However, his response was full of anger, which does not help his credibility or public image. Not only that, but he’s doing to Megyn exactly what she did to him. Both forms of media are coming from the same level of consciousness.
One of the most important aspects of journalism, and communication in general, is responding instead of reacting. Kevin Trudeau put it beautifully when he compared the difference between responding and reacting in regards to modern medicine: When we respond to medication, our bodies are working with it, but when we react to something, this means we’re experiencing some sort of negative effects.
The same can be said in any other scenario. When we respond to something or someone, we are taking a neutral stance and acting as the observer, whereas when we react, we are most often responding emotionally and with a particular viewpoint. It’s crucial when it comes to independent reporting and even everyday life that we respond instead of react.
When we’re mad, we often lose track of our thoughts, overcrowd our minds, and say things we don’t mean. Our passions can be mistaken for biases, and we can lose credibility for it. I’m not suggesting that you don’t develop passions or express them, but rather that you simply try your best to remain neutral and not let your passions turn into anger! At the end of the day, this will only upset you.
Either way, this interview represents an opportunity for both Megyn Kelly and Alex Jones to grow and learn from their actions. Kelly has had an extensive career in MSM, and perhaps the negative backlash she’s receiving from this interview will act as a catalyst for her own change and encourage her to focus more on seeking the truth than raising her ratings and succumbing to the elite’s agenda.
This interview also shows us that the rise of conscious media is incredibly important. The ways of the past where we bash one side or the other with extreme emotion or drama does not serve to bring out the truth and only puts more of this drama into the public. Whereas if we can look at information from a neutral place, without emotion or bias to persuade viewers, we can transcend a form of media that is not serving us to advance consciously.
As for Alex Jones, perhaps this interview will show him that he could benefit from remaining more neutral and not letting his anger get the best of him. After all, he probably wouldn’t have attracted this type of interview into his life if he didn’t need to learn something from it. Though this extreme reactions have clearly served him in the past, and many others, as he has inspired so many of us to “wake up,” alternative media is currently under attack with all of these allegations of “fake news,” and expressing anger probably won’t help progress the movement any further.
We already see so much fear and anger expressed in MSM, as they manufacture so many stories about false villains; let’s keep this type of mindset out of independent journalism!

[6/24/17/ JON RAPPOPORT] NBC lured FOX ice queen Megyn Kelly into their house because…
NBC execs are either dumb as rocks, or it’s part of a plan to send FOX down the drain.
The dumb-as-rocks part: NBC gave Kelly her own Sunday night “news” show; that time slot, up against CBS’ 60 Minutes, is a sure loser. NBC plans to roll out Kelly in their morning line-up, where cheery and happy and bubbly are prerequisites; Kelly works more along the line of a surgeon operating on a patient without anesthetic. NBC apparently plans to put Kelly in an afternoon slot, where Oprah and Ellen made their bones; Kelly connects with the afternoon-women audience the way a leopard connects with bunny rabbits.
If NBC-programming big shots aren’t that dumb, then they stole Kelly from FOX to facilitate the downfall of FOX, the only mainstream refuge of “conservatives.” NBC will eat her salary for a while, and then, as one pundit speculated, they’ll dump her at MSNBC, the extreme left-liberal cable cemetery, dedicated these days to haunting Trump for every move he makes or doesn’t make. Kelly will probably wind up alongside Brian Williams, who’s serving time at MSNBC for famously lying about an RPG hit his helicopter took in Iraq. The Brian and Megyn Show. She’ll turn further left, and he’ll try to rehab her image. Brian will say, “She’s both brilliant and caring. She hates injustice and tries to root it out wherever she finds it. She’s committed to righting wrongs done to people who have no voice. Megyn gives them that voice. I’m honored to be working with her. When she was in Iraq and her helicopter was shot at, I dressed a chest wound she suffered…”
Kelly was the new shining star at FOX, the latest blonde in a string of blondes. She was going to propel FOX to new heights. It was all going to work out…until it didn’t.
Now she’s on the road to doofus land. Her brand of good looks doesn’t fly at NBC. It’s a negative. The audience sees her as the FOX fox who’s trying to fake her way into liberal credentials.
But if her switch to NBC helps sink FOX further, it’s worth it. Particularly if Sean Hannity takes a ratings hit. He’s the last “conservative holdout” who’s still drawing a large audience. And he’s pro-Trump.
The MSM game goes on. Who sucks in the biggest audience? Who satisfies the advertisers? Whose warm body can be climbed over by the newest contender? Who can seem to be “with the people?” Who can lower his/her IQ sufficiently to appeal to a vital consumer demographic? Who can charm women on welfare and armchair tough guys and social justice warriors with discretionary income and people who’ll actually ask their doctors whether the latest toxic drug is right for them?
Welcome to the mainstream network minstrel show, the zoo and the amusement park and the house of mirrors and the carnival alley and the three-card street-corner hustler with a folding table and the court eunuchs operating on behalf of oligarchs and the suits consulting Amazon algorithms and the CIA assets chopping up news and the Globalists in sheep’s clothing and the Wall St. front men and the pharmaceutical agents and the policy wonks and the too-big-to-fail bankers and the mothball counter-terrorism analysts and the mid-thigh skirts with crossed legs and the discreet cleavage and the jacked-up amphetamine studio audiences and the PR agency freaks and the whose-baby-is-it barkers and the and the far-flung field reporters all over the world who take their copy straight off the wires in Washington and New York and the we-don’t know-whether-it-was-terrorism-yet police chiefs and the you-can’t say-the-US-government-created-and-funded-ISIS editors and the latest-breakthrough-cancer-treatment-is-right-around-the-corner medical reporters and the Monsanto agents and the puff adder egos and the fair and balanced affirmative action hires and the out and out Communists and the collectivist utopians and the military industrialist neocon empire builders and the think tank sophists and logic choppers and the vaccine police and the latest and great blonde:
On the road to nowhere.
Unless you can somehow find it in your heart to love her.
Please love her.
She doesn’t know what world she’s operating in. She’s over her head. She’s a victim.
Destroy her, yes. But then bring her back. Reach out your hand and pull her up from the abyss.
It’ll be a good story. Promise.

(INTELLIHUB) — A Breitbart exclusive report say that Megyn Kelly should have made out like a bandit over the recent Alex Jones controversy and should have raked in the cash from all of the publicity. However, quite the opposite happened when Kelly’s hit piece was aired by NBC on Father’s Day when the show was Trumped by reruns of America’s Funniest Home Videos, which is could possibly be considered the stupidest TV show on the planet.
The report also pointed out that Kelly would never “be welcomed back” to Fox News.
Editor’s note: It looks like Megyn Kelly’s interview of radio talk show host Alex Jones has backfired.
All of that free publicity couldn’t push Megyn Kelly over the top.
Despite a week’s worth of stories about her controversial interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, the Q&A ended up being watched by only 3.5 million viewers, and was soundly beaten by CBS rival “60 Minutes,” which drew 5.3 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

NBC is planning to air Megyn Kelly’s interview with conspiracy theorist and talk show host Alex Jones on Sunday night. And the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook massacre — which Jones has repeatedly suggested was staged — are outraged.
Kelly confronted Jones about his Sandy Hook claims during the interview, but the victims’ families argued that NBC should not be giving the Infowars.com provocateur a platform.
Nelba Márquez-Greene — whose 6-year-old daughter, Ana Grace, was one of 20 children killed in the Dec. 14, 2012, school shooting in Newtown, Conn. — blasted Kelly in a series of tweets.
“Hey @megynkelly, let me know if you want to give his victims equal air time,” Márquez-Greene wrote. “Promoting this fool is bad news. Do not encourage his abuse.”
“It’s a miracle no #sandyhook parent has ended their life yet,” she continued. “The loss of a loved one and the constant [harassment] is too much.”
Márquez-Greene then posted a photo of her slain daughter, encouraging Kelly to “say her name” and “stare at this & tell me it’s worth” airing Jones’ interview.
Cristina Hassinger — whose mother, Sandy Hook Elementary Principal Dawn Hochsprung — was one of six adults killed in the massacre, deplored the decision to give Jones network airtime.
“This piece of actual garbage encourages people to call my mom’s death a hoax and harass other Sandy Hook families,” Hassinger tweeted. “Shame on you @megynkelly.”
Abbey Clements, a teacher who survived the shooting by hiding with her second-grade students in a closet, tweeted her disgust for Kelly and NBC.
Danielle Vabner, whose 6-year-old brother, Noah Pozner, was killed at Sandy Hook, ripped the decision too.
“This is airing on Father’s Day,” Vabner wrote. “Imagine losing your child in a shooting while the man who denies it happened gets an interview. #ShameOnNBC.”

NBC, which aired a preview of Kelly’s sit-down with Jones Sunday night, did not respond to a request for comment.
In the preview clip, Jones expounds on his beliefs that “9/11 was an inside job” and that the parents of Sandy Hook victims faked their children’s deaths — a conspiracy theory that has been spread by so-called Sandy Hook hoaxers.
“When you say parents faked their children’s death, people get very angry,” Kelly told Jones.
“I looked at all the angles of Newtown,” Jones said. “And I made my statements long before the media even picked up on it.”
The family of Victoria Leigh Soto, a teacher who was killed at Sandy Hook, posted an open letter to Kelly and NBC on Facebook.
“Alex and his followers have done nothing but make our lives a living hell for the last 4 1/2 years,” the family wrote. “You should be ashamed of yourselves.”
Kelly defended the decision to broadcast her discussion with Jones, who interviewed Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign and said that the president called to thank him days after the election.
“POTUS’s been on & praises @RealAlexJones’ show,” Kelly wrote on Twitter. “He’s giving Infowars a [White House] press credential. Many don’t know him; our job is 2 shine a light.”
“You do not ‘shine a light’ on someone with such dangerous ideals and ideas,” Márquez-Greene replied. “Shine a light on the parents, siblings and their journeys.”
“Shine a light on victims of gun violence,” Vabner added. “Shine a light on their family members who have found the strength to go on AND fight for what’s right. Don’t shine a light on the man who denies their loved ones ever died.”

(INTELLIHUB) — Megyn Kelly’s Sunday newsmagazine show on NBC has tanked since its debut two weeks ago, drawing only 3.6 million viewers, a 42% decline compared to the week prior when the over-famed TV anchor interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly is set to air its next biggest interview on June 18 featuring Infowars founder and radio talk show host Alex Jones.
The interview is considered controversial and may have already landed Kelly in hot water after deep pocket advertiser JP Morgan Chase pulled local TV and digital ads from Kelly’s show.
On Monday, JP Morgan’s chief marketing officer, Kristin Lemkau, tweeted:
“As an advertiser, I’m repulsed that @megynkelly would give a second of airtime to someone who says Sandy Hook and Aurora are hoaxes. Why?”
— Kristin Lemkau (@KLemkau) June 12, 2017
The shitstorm even prompted Alex Jones himself to chime in in on the matter who appears to be mad about Kelly’s misrepresentation of his views on the Sandy Hook school shooting which aired in an NBC promo for Sunday’s show.
On Monday Jones tweeted:
“I’m calling for
@megynkelly to cancel the airing of our interview for misrepresenting my views on Sandy Hook.”
— Alex Jones (@RealAlexJones) June 12, 2017
Jones said on air that he knew what he was getting into when Kelly called him for an interview and that he just had to see it with his “own eyes.”
“In the interests of the families of Sandy Hook, I agree with them, that this piece not air because it misrepresents what I stand for and what I’ve said and uses me as a sock puppet or a straw man, out of context with edited video, very deceptively, to hurt peoples feelings and to drive a wedge in this country,” the radio talk show host said.
Now other outlets, such as ABC News, have jumped on the bandwagon reporting on the “furry and fallout” all the while attacking Jones who’s agency recently received White House press credentials.
