Man Who Accused Seattle Mayor of Sexually Abusing Him as a Child, Found Dead at 47

Seattle, WA — Over the past several years, multiple victims have come forward and accused Seattle Mayor Ed Murray of sexually abusing them when they were children in the 1980’s. Delvonn Heckard, one of the alleged victims, filed a lawsuit against the mayor in April of 2017, setting off an investigation by the Seattle Times.

What the Times found was nothing short of bombshell and vindication for his alleged victims. Now, TFTP has learned that Heckard was just found dead in an Auburn motel.

Heckard played a key role in exposing the alleged crimes against children perpetrated by Murray.

“In my opinion, a hero died today,” attorney Lincoln Beauregard said Friday morning.

According to the Seattle Times, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Heckard’s death on Friday afternoon, noting the official cause and manner of his death are pending.

Heckard had been in treatment for drug abuse and although the manner of his death is still pending, police are saying it looks like a drug overdose.

The city had just paid Heckard $150,000 to dismiss the suit against the mayor—which was put in a trust by his attorney to make sure he wouldn’t spend the money too quickly—but the damage against the mayor had already been done. Months after Heckard’s lawsuit, Murray was forced to resign.

As the Free Thought Project reported in April of last year, Murray’s attorney publicly denounced the allegations of sexual abuse from the victims. One of those victims was Jeff Simpson, whose case prompted the controversy in 2008.

“The previous accusers were investigated by law enforcement and the press and found to be not credible and their claims meritless,” attorney Robert Sulkin told reporters in April.

However, these claims were easily made because the Oregon Department of Human Services’ (DHS) foster-parent records of his abuse were said to be destroyed. The mayor himself even felt secure enough to say last year that the press not finding the supposed records of his abuse of Simpson demonstrated his innocence — a move he came to regret.

Not content with hearing that the records had been destroyed, the Times tried, once again, to obtain them. Using Murray’s statements urging the media to pursue those records and noting the victim’s authorization to release the details of the abuse, DHS finally released the information.

“We used our discretion to determine disclosure was in the public interest to protect other children and prevent anyone else from being put in a similar situation,” said Caroline Burnell, manager of the legal unit for DHS’ public-affairs office. “A person in a position of power and authority could use that authority to coerce or otherwise force people into a vulnerable position.”

As the Seattle Times reports:

The Times emailed a video link of the news conference to DHS two days later, noting those statements. The agency considered the totality of information provided when deciding to release the records, Burnell said. They included the Child Protective Services assessment finding Simpson’s allegations valid; a detective’s reports citing two additional witnesses; and a letter from the District Attorney’s Office indicating prosecutors had not determined Simpson was lying.

The records, dating back to 1984, explicitly noted that Ed Murray should “never again be utilized as a certified CSD resource for children.” It also showed that a criminal case was brought against Murray by prosecutors but in spite of the multiple accusations, charges were somehow never filed.

Speaking in an interview this week with KPTV, Simpson noted that he would take a lie detector and do whatever it takes to make sure other children don’t suffer the same fate as he did.

“Mayor Murray is a child molester,” Simpson said at the time. “The worst things that you can think of were what Ed has done to me.”

As KPTV reported, Simpson said he was told by state agencies over and over that the records in his case had long been destroyed. Learning they not only existed but were released publicly, he said was an answer to his prayers.

“It’s nothing short of a miracle,” he said. “All of a sudden, not only do we get the paperwork but we get all of the records that were supposedly destroyed.”

The records vindicating Simpson’s claims are just the beginning. It now gives the accusations of the other potential victims merit as well.

Sadly, as this alleged abuse happened over 30 years ago, the statute of limitations for criminal charges has since run out. But Simpson just wants closure.

Simpson notes that he is now working with an attorney to help achieve this closure and has started a fundraising page for those efforts.

While Murray resigned last year to avoid the limelight, it is important to note just how common pedophilia is — especially among the elite — who are rarely ever held accountable.

As TFTP reported last year, Ed Murray is only one name on a long list of mayors accused of child sex-related crimes since 2016.

According to a scathing report, at least 10 current and former mayors have been accused of unspeakable crimes against children—in only one year. Ranging from child porn to rape, some of the victims were as young as four-years-old.

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry admits affair with head of her security detail

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry apologized on Wednesday for engaging in an affair with the head of her own police detail.

The 54-year-old Democratic mayor has served in her municipal position since 2015, and news of her extramarital relationship comes after Barry lost her 22-year-old son, Max, to a drug overdose last July.

Click through to see images of Megan Barry:

“Today I acknowledged publicly that I have engaged in an extramarital affair with the former head of my security detail,” Barry said in a statement released on Wednesday. “I accept fIull responsibility for the pain I have caused my family and his. I am so sorry to my husband Bruce, who has stood by me in my darkest moments and remains committed to our marriage, just as I am committed to repairing the damage I have done.”

According to the Tennessean, Barry’s affair with Sgt. Robert Forrest Jr. of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department began in 2016 as the 58-year-old officer became a frequent presence in public events and on trips with the mayor.

Forrest also commented on the affair, saying he regrets the dynamic he had with Barry.

“I deeply regret that my professional relationship with Mayor Barry turned into a personal one,” Forrest said in a statement to the Tennessean. “This has caused great pain for my wife, my family, friends and colleagues. At no time did I ever violate my oath as a police officer or engage in actions that would abuse the public trust.”

The public announcement and apology will likely shape the nature of a May vote on a hotly-debated Nashville infrastructure project expected to cost $5.4 billion that Barry has backed.

“People that we admire can also be flawed humans, and I’m flawed, and I’m incredibly sad and sorry for the disappointment that I will see in those little girls’ faces,” Barry continued in her announcement. “But, what I hope they can also see is that people make mistakes, and you move on from those.”

Despite rumors that the 7th Nashville mayor might step down from her post, Barry has said she has no plans of resigning.

‘Arrest him’: Pro-Trump protesters storm London Mayor’s speech (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

READ MORE: Britain’s hilarious reaction as Trump shuns London… including a lookalike statue

Khan had just begun his address at a conference for the Fabian Society, a socialist group, in London when demonstrators in the audience started calling for his arrest. Some of the group held US flags and anti-EU banners as their supporters clapped and heckled the Labour mayor.

The demonstration follows US President Donald Trump’s cancellation of a planned visit to the UK capital next month. Khan, a vocal critic of the the US president, responded to news of the cancellation by saying Trump “had got the message” that Londoners were opposed to his policies.

Video footage of the incident shows the chairperson for the conference asking the demonstrators to go outside and talk to the press. The protesters were later escorted from the venue by police.

Khan resumed his speech on equality about 20 minutes after the disruption started.

A spokeswoman for the Fabian Society told The Express that the speech had been marred by “far-right” protesters.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed to that protesters were removed from the building but said no arrests were made.

Colbert Falls For San Juan Mayor’s Iconic ‘Fake News’

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz, the liberal media’s newest darling, sat down with Stephen Colbert during her latest national media tour. And in the process, she led Colbert into spreading some fake news – namely, an “ïconic” image that turns out to have been staged, and that has a wholly different story behind it that to date has gone unacknowledged by the media.

Watch as Colbert and Cruz discuss the image in question:

STEPHEN COLBERT, HOST: This is the shot, this is the shot of you in, in the floodwaters.

CARMEN YULIN CRUZ, MAYOR OF SAN JUAN: That, that was water with human excrement

STEPHEN COLBERT, HOST: in it, down in, is this in San Juan?

CARMEN YULIN CRUZ, MAYOR OF SAN JUAN: That’s in San Juan, in a place called Ocean Park.

But as this video shows, the photo isn’t what it seems to be. Rather than the mayor reassuring a concerned citizen, it appears to be a brazenly staged handshake. Watch as Roy Sánchez, the recipient of said handshake, gives his account of what happened that day:

Puerto Rico-based Noticel further confirms the video’s account – that in the immediate aftermath of the hurricane the capital city of the financially-strapped U.S. territory entered into a taxpayer-funded publicity binge, entering into contracts with four photographers to cover the Mayor’s every move.

Now what kind of mayor anywhere under the U.S. flag expends precious taxpayer resources on photographers in the aftermath of a catastrophic hurricane? The same mayor who provided convicted FALN terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera with a 24-hour police detail, that’s who. The focus appears to have been less on saving lives than on ensuring a steady flow of shareable photos and video.

This is the other side of the photo that Mayor Cruz got Colbert to pass off as “iconic”. Cruz correctly calculated that the mainstream media would strap a rocket to the loudest anti-Trump politician on the island, and it worked.

There is now agreement within the media that Puerto Rico as a story went under-reported until it became a Trump story. We said that a month before the media figured that out. This, more than anything, explains the media’s interest in a Mayor with a -22 net approval rating, who is largely loathed on the island – where they know her best. Given information that is widely available and the media’s ability to vet someone when they really want to – it isn’t a matter of the media not knowing who Mayor Cruz is – they just don’t care.

Perhaps this can also explain the media’s unwillingness to report on Mayor Cruz’ silence with regard to a sexual scandal that has been festering within her administration in recent weeks, as one of her senior advisors faces accusations of sexual assault. Given the current climate that holds the powerful accountable for their actions, there is no reason for the Mayor to remain silent or for the national media that elevated her to abet that silence.

Add this to the terrorist championing and riot enabling, and it is crystal clear that once again, the media must bear the consequences of failing to vet its latest shiny object.

Mayor of German city stabbed in neck after taking in more refugees than quota

The mayor of the western German town of Altena suffered a slash to the neck in what security authorities believe was an attack with a “political motive.” Under the current mayor, the town has accommodated more refugees than required by national quota.

On Monday evening, a reportedly drunk man approached Mayor Andreas Hollstein, who had gone to a downtown kebab shop to get a doner for his wife. According to German media, the man loudly criticized the mayor’s policies and asked Hollstein if he was the one before pulling out a knife.

“You let me die of thirst and bring 200 refugees to Altena,” he told Hollstein, according to the mayor, who spoke Tuesday at a press conference. The assailant then stabbed 54-year-old Hollstein in the neck with a blade, local police say, causing a 15cm-long gash. “Shoot me!” yelled the assailant, held by witnesses, when officers arrived. Hollstein was rushed to the hospital and released hours later.

“Yes, I feared for my life and I’m pretty sure I would not have it [life] anymore – if I had not had help,” he confessed, saying it felt like it was his “third birthday,” having also beaten cancer. “I was given another life yesterday.”

The attacker intended to kill the mayor, according to the owner of the kebab shop, where the incident took place. The proprietor was one of those who caught the assailant and held him until the police arrived.

“The attacker asked the mayor whether he was the mayor, the mayor said ‘Yes’ and it happened very fast, he pulled out a knife. I think he took it out of his pocket, he put him in a headlock, and wanted to cut his throat completely,” Ahmet Abdullah told Ruptly.

The attacker had an “alleged xenophobic motivation,” a police statement reads.

“The security authorities believe that there was a political motive to this attack,” North Rhine-Westphalia’s CDU state premier, Armin Laschet, said. The offender commented on a migration issue, Laschet added.

Hollstein’s wife had repeatedly warned him of a possible attack numerous threats against the mayor, he said. Still, he “will continue to work for people, both for refugees and for people who have been there before and will come, just as any other mayor.”

“We have good, bad and normal people everywhere,” he added.

Hollstein’s liberal policies towards asylum seekers have earned his city nationwide fame. Altena, with the population of some 17,300, received the National Integration Prize from Chancellor Angela Merkel for taking in extra refugees and assisting them under a special program. “I believe we are leading Germany towards a bright future – that future is diverse,” Hollstein said at the time.

However, not everybody in Altena seemed to welcome the policy. In 2015, a firefighter and his accomplice set fire to a house, into which a group of Syrians had just moved. The arsonist later admitted that he didn’t want any refugees in the neighborhood, fearing “thefts, burglaries or sexual assaults.”

Following the Monday attack on the mayor, Chancellor Merkel said she was “horrified,” via her spokesperson in a Twitter post.

ABC’s ‘The Mayor’ Declares ‘Everything We Have’ Is Because Of Unions

Dina: No contract, no bus. A living wage for all of us. No contract –

Courtney: What the hell, Ma?

Dina: “What the hell” yourself. These are my pample mousses.

Courtney: I saw you picketing.

Dina: Good. How’d I look?

Courtney: Treacherous. You’re picketing against your own son?

Dina: Excuse me — the Post Office called a sympathy strike.

Courtney: That didn’t mean you had to go.

Dina: That’s right. I chose to. In case you haven’t noticed, we are a union house. Everything we have is because of their hard-fought battles — health insurance, rent, the piano.

Courtney: Ma, we got that piano for free off Craigslist.

Dina: And how do you think we got on Craigslist? Using a computer bought with union wages!

Courtney: This is so unreal. You’re supposed to be on my side.

Dina: Not when you’re hanging out on some dumb side, scabbing like you did.

Courtney: What?! When did I scab?

Dina: When you drove half the city around with your little See Someone, Scab Someone campaign.

Courtney: Ma, I was not trying to get rid of the buses. I was just trying to keep the city moving during the strike.

Dina: Boy, that may actually be the definition of “Scabbing.”

Courtney: Look… I understand Dina The Postal Worker is mad at me, but I really need my mom right now.

Dina: Sorry. Of course. Here I am. [ Sighs ] You’re wrong, Courtney. No contract, no bus. A living wage for all of us. [ Voice fading ] No contract, no bus…

New York Mayor cracks down on e-bike delivery guys

When I was in Manhattan last week, I was surprised at the number of cars clogging every road, it seemed worse than ever. I was so thankful to be on a Citibike, even if some of the bike lanes were in terrible shape. I often shared the lane with e-bikes driven by deliverymen, who often were going the wrong way in the bike lane, but it never seemed to be a big problem. But apparently is is a big problem for the mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, who has announced a crack-down on e-bikes. At a press conference he complained:

We can’t have a situation where people feel unsafe crossing the street or even walking down the sidewalk. We can’t have a situation where someone is suddenly facing an electronic bicycle coming the wrong way. It’s just too dangerous.

He suggests an alternative:

For a lot of places, with a bicycle you can get there pretty quick, too. Obviously, if a company wants to — if a store wants to use a car, they could do that.

Under the last mayor, New York got a reputation for being data driven, but in this particular case, there is zero data. What apparently is happening is that people are calling radio shows. There are no records indicating that anyone has been killed or seriously injured by delivery bikes. Meanwhile, 70 pedestrians and 13 pedestrians have been killed by cars, buses and trucks and now the mayor wants delivery people rushing around in them.

Henry Grabar summarizes the stupidity of it all on Slate:

Though technically illegal to use in New York state, the battery-powered bicycles have helped the city’s more than 50,000 bicycle deliverymen keep pace with perennial demand for take-out food and surging requests for deliveries of groceries and consumer products. The bikes are perfectly suited for the demands of the job: They facilitate affordable, rapid transportation of lightweight goods through a metropolis with virtually no remaining streetspace, without generating exhaust or noise.

delivery bike in BerlinLloyd Alter/ Mail delivery in Berlin/CC BY 2.0

In much of Europe, bike and e-bike deliveries are common; you can get a lot of mail on a bike and even more on an e-bike. One would think that a Mayor who talks the talk about Vision Zero would care about getting cars off the roads. But no.

“Clearly, this e-bike crackdown is about listening to the loudest complainers, not listening to the data,” Caroline Samponaro, a spokesperson for Transportation Alternatives told Gothamist. “Rather than attacking the livelihoods of hard-working, predominantly immigrant delivery cyclists, the Mayor should follow the lead of California and work with the New York State Legislature to pass common sense e-bike legislation that establishes a framework for safe, pedal-powered, low-speed models.”

That is actually fundamental to this discussion. Bikes with an electric assist when you pedal but no throttle, the European style Pedelec, are actually legal in New York. But basic e-bikes with bigger batteries and motors go faster and are controlled more like a motorcycle than a bike. But there was no discussion about this; David Meyer writes in Streetsblog:

De Blasio said older delivery workers should use those bikes, which are not banned under NYC law, unlike e-bikes that can be powered by just a motor. But instead of talking to delivery workers and trying to reach a solution that fits the demands of the job, the mayor and NYPD have jumped straight to penalizing them.

This has a been a concern of mine for some time; that we need better regulations in North America on e-bikes and should accept the European Union pedelec standard- 250 watts, 20km/hr max speed. (Some tell me that heavier Americans in hillier cities need more power) and no throttle. Otherwise, it’s a motorcycle. That would slow everybody down. Because delivery people aren’t the only ones going too fast and scaring cyclists and pedestrians alike; it happens to me all the time in the bike lanes of Toronto.

Clarence Eckerson Jr. of Streetfilms notes in comments on Streetsblog that there is a problem, but that there are solutions at hand that apply to everyone:

Having a kid made me see all of this in a very different light. I have been pushing my son on a sidewalk in his stroller (or walking) when an ebike has buzzed by or accelerated too quickly. It’s damn dangerous, it really can be. But then again so are bicyclists, mopeds and – occasionally – you’ll find even a motorcycle doing the same on sidewalks. The solution is not banning. It is not rigorous fines or unfairly penalizing restaurants. It is just enforcement of existing sidewalk rules.

The same can be said about delivery people going the wrong way in the bike lanes, although blocks are really long in New York and I can see why they do it. But there are reasonable solutions that are better than just going after everybody on an e-bike.

Racist, Anti-BLM Mayor Calls African-Americans ‘Monkeys,’ Wants to Make America Great Again in BET’s ‘Tales’

BET’s Tales is described as a scripted anthology series of “song stories” that uses hip-hop song lyrics to create mini movies. The October 24 episode titled “99 Problems” is based on the lyrics of the Jay-Z song and boy does it have problems!

The story is about two college students, a couple, who are Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists. They go on the lam when the mayor of their university town declares BLM a domestic terror organization.

The program opens with video of President Trump speaking to a police officer’s group, saying, “Please don’t be too nice” to the people they arrest. Next we see a montage of violence against African-Americans by police and protests, real mixed in with scenes from the show.

Mayor Crest (Mike Pniewski) and the city council declare BLM activists and supporters members of a domestic terror organization after recent protests gathered in the state-funded university’s public areas, which he said violated the school policy. Excuse me while I take a moment to catch my breath from laughing so hard at the idea of a city council having the power to declare organizations “domestic terrorists,” never mind that this so-call ordinance was based on the violation of a school rule, not a real law – and how about the fact that a blanket school rule that bars any freedom of assembly at a public university would be unconstitutional in the first place! Next thing we know, a SWAT team is sneaking in the school with guns drawn, rounding up and arresting the BLM group for the crime of gathering in a crowd. Right, because that’s all BLM does.

President Trump: You just see them thrown in, thrown in. Rough. I said, “Please don’t be too nice. Don’t be too nice.”
President Obama: Law and order are the pillars of our civilization, ensuring the very structure of our democracy. Without it, we’d merely be beasts in the wild.
Mayor: At its founding, our state-funded university enacted a policy to ensure law and order on its campus. It stipulates that there should be no gatherings of crowds in its public areas. It saddens me to say that today that policy was violated, in the most offensive and unlawful way. Because of that, by unanimous decision, our city council has passed an ordinance declaring that all members, participants, and supporters of the so-called Black Lives Matter movement shall be declared domestic terrorists.
Germaine: And, so, it begins. Brothers, sisters, we are officially considered “Domestic terrorists.” I am not sorry that I laugh at that, but I think that’s just a little funny, ’cause I didn’t know that a domestic terrorist was someone who educated their community. Because, actually, regardless of what they’re saying, that’s what you do here. That’s what I’m talking about. So, if that is the new definition, then so be it. Y’all get ready for the goons and the dogs.
Miles: Hey! Hey! Hey! No! Here’s the thing. Shit just got real. It’s like my man Stokely Carmichael said, the scared –, they’re dead. I ain’t scared. Are you scared?
Crowd: No!
Miles:: I’m serious, pack this shit up and let’s go!
Woman: Let’s do this! Hey, Ashley, I need you to clear all computers. Yo! Yo! Yo! Swat is here, y’all! Swat is here! Okay, don’t worry about that. I got it. I got it. I took care of it. Get outta here, man. Get outta here. Y’all gotta go.
Officer: Get down on the ground! Get on the ground! Hand up! Hands up! Nobody move! Everybody, hands on the ground! Freeze! Freeze! Don’t move! Don’t move! You’re under arrest! We’re cuffin’ ’em up! We’re cuffin’ ’em up!

Miles (Peyton “Alex” Smith) and Germaine (Rhyon Nicole Brown) go on the run. They make it to a safe house and the mayor puts out an APB on them. Yes, really.

While in hiding, an anonymous source sends out a video of the mayor at a poker game. On the tape, he refers to American-Americans as monkeys. He refers to one of his employees, Edmund Benning (Jerod Haynes), as a good one, though. Germaine and Miles think for sure that they have the mayor where they want him. Then it turns out the anonymous source wants to meet with them and give them more material.

As you probably guessed, the source is Benning. He meets the two activists and justifies asking his friend, who was serving at the card game, to tape the mayor’s conversation. He says he’s giving them emails and helping them “because I’m a black man in America. And this bullshit can’t happen here again.”

So, taking advice from Benning, the two go into the black-tie event to get more video evidence against the mayor. The theme is – wait for it – Make America Great Again. Of course. Guests can be heard making racist remarks and then the mayor comes out to make his speech. The speech is something straight out of any liberal caricature of President Trump – including the audience cheering slavery. At the end, an aide comes out to tell the mayor that the speech is live on social media.

Woman 1: They had a black man for at least eight years. I mean, if he couldn’t correct their problems in all that time, then tough luck.
Man: They oughta just go on back to Africa. I hear you can get a good hut there for cheap.
Woman 2: If you’re worried about increases in private prisons, just stop doing the crimes. Then we’ll stop building the prisons.

Mayor: Hello, everybody. Oh, good to see everybody. Thank you. Thank you. I’ve gotta be honest with you, if I’d have known you guys cleaned up this good, I’d have called you in a whole lot sooner. You all look fantastic. Thank you so much. Thank you for being here. Well… We live in a different time, my friends. But I believe we have an opportunity to reset the balance. I believe that we have a moment to set a new pace for our great nation.
Germaine: We are live right now, and this bitch is goin’ down.
Mayor: Say what you want about the Constitution. But our Founding Fathers didn’t concern themselves with diversity, or political correctness. That’s not my opinion. That’s the truth.
Germaine: We got him.
Mayor: And say what you want about freedom of speech, and freedom of this, and freedom of that. But, hey, the Founding Fathers didn’t even abolish slavery in the Constitution. Am I right?
Guests: Yeah!

Mayor: History tells us that every once in a while we have to cast a net and we have to grab those who would seek to disrupt the status quo.
Miles: We got him.
Mayor: I expect that other cities and other towns will follow suit with what we’ve done when they see how successful we’ve been. And before you know it, this Black Lives Matter terror organization won’t matter to anyone at all. Thank you! Thank you all very much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, everybody. Thank you very much. Thank you.
Miles: What? What’s happening?
Mayor: I’m very sorry, my friends.
Germaine: We’ve gotta go.
Mayor: It seems our little gathering has become very popular on social media. So, please excuse me while I go deal with that.

The students are caught by security and roughed up. Then black kitchen staff fight off the white security men. How much more on the nose can we get?

Benning is found by Germaine and Miles as they escape the fundraiser. He’s on a park bench and his throat is slit. Later they find out that Benning sent them the emails, along with sending them to DOJ and the media. As they go back to meet at the safe house, older members tell them it is the “white supremacist militias in our government” holding African-Americans from getting ahead in America. Oh boy.

The DOJ moves forward and issues an arrest warrant for Mayor Crest. He is charged with money laundering. According to the charges, he is guilty of funneling funds raised for charity to “an alt-right terrorist group.” Of course. He tells a reporter questioning him on it, “Get that fake news outta my face.”

At the end of the show, viewers are told to contact the website if there are complaints against the police anyone wants to file. The claim that Black Lives Matter educates the public and therefore isn’t a terrorist organization is mentioned during the show. I guess this is the show’s way of educating their viewers, too, as one-sided as it is.

A little more education for you: The program begins with a graphic saying, “Young African-American men are 9 times more likely to be killed by the police than their white counterparts,” the implication being that racist cops are targeting young African-American men. But the only kind of targeting the police are doing is of crime. Young African-American men are 10 times more likely to be killed by anyone than their white counterparts and homicide is the number one killer of African-American men aged 15-34. African-Americans overall commit 7-10 times more violent crime than their white counterparts. And finally, when you control for the rate at which each racial group commits violent crimes, whites are more likely to to be killed by the police than their African-American counterparts.

I got 99 problems but the truth ain’t one.
