Welcome to America 2018, where everyone and their mother is a victim.

Last week, Doritos announced that it would soon be coming out with chips designed to appeal more to women. According to PepsiCo global chief Indra Nooyi, women aren’t very fond of the traditional Doritos because of how loud and messy they are to eat. These new “Lady Doritos,” as the Internet has begun to refer to them as, will be less crunchy and coated in less powdered cheese, which truthfully seems like a rational and reasonable marketing idea. Not to the feminists, though, who are now outraged that any company could be this “insensitive” and “misogynistic.”

Julia Reiss of, for example, wrote an angry article titled “Doritos is rolling out Sexist-as-F*ck chips,” in which she complained that “the patriarchy is all too real these days,” and that she wasn’t sure if “we should boycott the brand or start a viral, crunch chip-eating, finger-licking, bag-tossing campaign.” (Related: Feminists call for science to be turned into a social justice propaganda machine.)

Tim Nelson of also connected the “Lady Doritos” to the patriarchy that is apparently alive and well in America, writing: “Of course, a company as large as PepsiCo would never stop to question how our base capitalist system perpetuates a cultural superstructure where women are made to feel that they can’t lick Dorito dust off their fingers without falling short of some patriarchal concept of femininity,” adding sarcastically that perhaps PepsiCo will start to produce a Mountain Dew “for men that actively suppresses emotion next.”

Liberal commentator and host of Good Morning Britain Piers Morgan was also outraged over the news of the Lady Doritos, going so far as to hold up a microphone to the mouths of his female co-hosts as they ate the snack, exclaiming, “Here’s how you eat Doritos. We don’t want lady Doritos! They want equality. They want the same size Doritos as men. They want to eat them in the same noisy way as men.”

As his rage continued to escalate on the air, Morgan eventually began to criticize Doritos boss Indra Nooyi, and even declared, “This is what we do to Doritos!” while smashing the chips to pieces with his microphone. The entire segment was a bit odd to say the least, and definitely an overreaction.

When Indra Nooyi thought of this idea, she obviously didn’t do it with the intent of oppressing women or treating them differently than men; it was a genuine marketing idea that was meant to give women something that she felt they desired. It’s a shame that the very first thing liberals and feminists jump to when hearing about a marketing strategy directed towards women is “sexism” and “misogyny.”

It begs the question: Are similar advertising campaigns that also target women sexist as well? What about makeup commercials that feature beautiful models with long eyelashes and red lipstick? What about ads for women’s weight loss programs that claim to help women get that ideal, curvy figure? What about marketing campaigns for women’s clothing that feature skirts and dresses? Would all of these be considered sexist too? Sadly, this culture of victimization is exactly what the left wing thrives off of, which is why they are typically the ones talking about so-called oppression and inequality. They know that once people believe they are victims (like the feminists who were outraged over the Lady Doritos), the left knows that they can exploit their frustration for political gain: “you are oppressed, but vote democrat and we’ll fight for a fairer, more equitable America.”

And on a side note, if these feminists are all worked up over a marketing campaign put out by a brand of chips, then perhaps they should consider getting their priorities straightened out.

Today Dr. Slattery filled in for Dr. Duke and had a discussion with British author and activist Mark Collett. First they went into the subject matter of Mark’s latest video (linked to at the bottom of this page) on how feminists have destroyed the jobs of the Grid Girls of Formula One racing. These beautiful, mostly white women are part of the information distribution infrastructure of the sport, are appreciated by the fans, and love their jobs, but feminists decided that their occupation is demeaning to women and pushed to have them terminated. Meanwhile, pornstars and prostitutes are welcome at feminist marches.

Then they turned their attention to the new Disney film “The Black Panther.” It is already the highest-rated film on the review site Rotten Tomatoes, which is truly astounding seeing as it hasn’t been released yet and no one has seen it. Well done, Kangz of Wakanda! And yet, one might think that all this stoking of the black ego with pure fiction might actually be humiliating to anyone with a critical mind. And speaking of critical minds, they review the debating style of the black YouTuber Tree of Logic, with whom Dr. Duke is scheduled for an upcoming debate.

Formula 1 has decided to end its tradition of using ‘grid girls’, saying it was at odds with modern “societal norms.” However, some of the women are now protesting on social media, saying their role was grossly misrepresented.

F1 announced the demise of the tradition in a short statement on Wednesday. “While the practice of employing grid girls has been a staple of Formula 1 Grands Prix for decades, we feel this custom does not resonate with our brand values and clearly is at odds with modern day societal norms. We don’t believe the practice is appropriate or relevant to Formula 1 and its fans, old and new, across the world,” said Sean Bratches, managing director of commercial operations.

The possibility of an F1 change of policy was announced in December. The move came just days after a similar decision was taken by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) to end its practice of using ‘walk-on girls’.

Now some women, whose current or past jobs have apparently been scrapped amid the broader heated debate over workspace sexual harassment, are venting their anger on social media. They say they have become victims of a misplaced eagerness to defend women’s rights.

“Ridiculous that women who say they are ‘fighting for women’s rights’ are saying what others should and shouldn’t do, stopping us from doing a job we love and are proud to do,” tweeted F1 grid girl Rebecca Cooper.

“Because of these feminists, they’ve cost us our jobs! I have been a grid girl for 8 years and I have Never felt uncomfortable!” said model Lauren-Jade Pope, with many more joining in with similar messages.

NPR, PBS Offer Five Times as Much Coverage to Feminists Compared to Pro-Life March

Taxpayer-supported radio and TV showed the same pattern of liberal favoritism as the commercial TV newscasts, devoting more attention to the feminist Left over the weekend than to the pro-life conservatives. From Friday through Sunday, NPR’s newscasts devoted 10 minutes and five seconds to the annual March for Life. But the second annual Women’s March and a celebration of abortion activists before Roe vs. Wade drew 53 minutes and 52 seconds, more than five times as much attention. 

Most of the March for Life coverage came on Morning Edition, with a Saturday recap and a Friday four-minute, 23-second interview with Kristian Hawkins of Students for Life. NPR anchor Rachel Martin hit Hawkins with this: “You’re a religious person….how do you, as a Christian, reconcile your support and praise for Donald Trump and his position on abortion with his own moral failings? I mean…How he talked about grabbing women by the genitals, recent allegations of infidelity with a porn star — how do you reconcile these two things?” 

Overall the morning shows offered more Women’s March coverage (24 minutes, 13 seconds) than the March for Life (seven minutes, 25 seconds). I left out a five-minute segment with a Women’s Marcher and her Trump supporter friend, since the March wasn’t discussed beyond the introduction.

There was a larger imbalance during All Things Considered in the evening. On Friday night, they aired a perfunctory story on the pro-life march and Trump’s speech (2 minutes, 40 seconds). But in the same program, they aired almost four minutes on the upcoming Women’s March by Leila Fadel, and the piece de #resistance — a 12-minute glorification of Chicago’s “Jane Collective,” which provided illegal abortions (without any medical qualifications) for a few years before Roe v. Wade.

NPR offered only a 16-second brief on the Women’s March on Saturday night, but made up for that on Sunday night, with two segments totaling thirteen minutes and 14 seconds. So the evening disparity was 2:40 for the pro-lifers, 29:39 for the feminist Left.

The same pattern – with smaller air-time totals – happened on the PBS NewsHour. On Friday night, PBS anchor Judy Woodruff offered a 70-second anchor brief with a soundbite of President Trump speaking to “anti-abortion activists” from the Rose Garden.

“Today marked the 45th annual March for Life in Washington. Thousands of anti-abortion activists marched through the streets of the capital, carrying signs and chanting pro-life slogans,” Woodruff reported. “The Trump administration used this day to take two more steps today in its anti-abortion fight.”

But PBS aired two full reports, one each on Saturday night and Sunday night, adding up to five minutes and 34 seconds of coverage of the Women’s March, almost five times as much coverage.

On Saturday, reporter Megan Thompson played up the size: “New York’s march was one of around 250 events in the U.S and around the world. In Rome, hundreds gathered to show support for the movement. And here in the U.S., protesters converged from coast to coast, in Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver and Washington, DC.”

On Sunday, weekend anchor Hari Sreenivasan gushed “Las Vegas is the site of today’s massive women’s rally dubbed ‘Power to the Polls.’ Organizers say they want to turn the energy and activism from the women’s marches into action at the voting booth.”
