Mayor-Eric-GarcettiLOS ANGELES – Soon after VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti announced they would not be able to end Veteran homelessness in Los Angeles by the end of the year as promised, it was rumored they were spotted at a local drinking establishment celebrating.

The two seemed overly joyous as they downed Margaritas nearly as fast as the bartender could make them while hugging and high-fiving each other and buying rounds of drinks for amused patrons.

Fascinated by their enthusiastic behavior, the bartender asked what they were celebrating and the Mayor gloated: “We just finished a jigsaw puzzle and it only took us two months to complete.”

“Two months!” blurted the bartender.  “That’s ridiculous!  It shouldn’t take anyone that long!”

Incensed by the bartender’s dismissive attitude, VA Secretary McDonald brashly boasted: “Hey dude, the puzzle box said ‘two to four years.’ “

And now you know the rest of the story.

God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!

Brits can join IDF, Girl who joins Pergmersha a “terrorist.” – Veterans Today

.

Teenage girl accused of trying to join Kurdish forces in Syria on trial in London

LONDON – Protesters picketed outside the London courthouse where Shilan Ozcelik, a teenage British girl of Kurdish descent, went on trial for trying to join Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State group (ISIS) in Syria.

The girl’s defense attorneys Peter Rolands and Ali Has as well as prosecutor Rosemary Davidson were present at the London courthouse where the trial began on Monday, and was adjourned to November 16.

Kurdish protesters stood outside the Old Bailey courthouse with banners calling for the release of the 18-year-old, charged with a terrorist offence under the UK’s 2006 Terrorism Act.

The Peace in Kurdistan Campaign, a pro-Kurdish initiative in the United Kingdom, has begun a postcard campaign aiming to send hundreds of postcards to the Home Office, calling on the government to drop the charges.

“We know that Shilan has never committed any act of violence and poses no threat to the people of this country,” a statement from the Peace in Kurdistan Campaign said. “As such, we reiterate our call for the charges against her to be dropped.”

Ozcelik’s supporters say she travelled to Brussels in an attempt to try to join the women’s wing of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, or YPG, which is affiliated with Turkey’s outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). She was arrested on January 16 as she returned from Brussels.

Neither the YPG nor its women’s wing, YPJ, is banned in the UK. But the PKK is listed as a terrorist group by both the European Union and the United States.

The Peace in Kurdistan Campaign said it rejected this labeling of the PKK and said it “has the effect of criminalizing anyone in the Kurdish community.” It stressed that the PKK stands against ISIS.

“Given this context, the arrest of a young Kurdish woman for allegedly attempting to join the fight against ISIS seems more than a little contradictory,” the Kurdistan peace campaign said in a statement.

Sheri Laizer, author of several books on the Kurdish issue, said that putting the girl on trial would not prevent other Kurds in Europe from going to fight against ISIS.

“Cases such as this will not prevent other Kurds from taking off, as long as they have a reason to fight ISIS,” she told Rudaw. “We have no reason to fear them in Europe, because Europe is not their target.”

Ozcelik goes on trial as Turkey and the PKK re-ignited a three-decade conflict in July, shattering a two-year peace process.

The PKK’s affiliates in Syria have been praised by the United States and other coalition partners for remaining the most effective force on the ground against ISIS in Syria. But there has been no change in US and EU policy toward the PKK.

More Britons have allegedly fought with the YPG against ISIS without being prosecuted. In July, three British and American volunteers who had returned from the battlefield were reportedly received as heroes at a Kurdish Community Centre in London.

Hundreds of foreign fighters have reportedly traveled to Syria and Iraq to fight with Kurdish forces battling ISIS.

Foreign fighters also have joined the Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq, which remains a staunch US and Western ally in the war against ISIS.

“The Iran nuclear deal was hard-won and is better than any other reasonably achievable alternative” ~ Senior fellow of the CISAC, Siegfried S. Hecker

LACACIS

First published September 8, 2015, LA Daily Post

… by Roger Snodgrass, Los Alamos Daily Post

An independent arms control group in Los Alamos, New Mexico, strongly endorsed a recommendation in favor of the recently negotiated weapons reduction agreement with Iran.

In a public meeting Friday, members of the Los Alamos Committee on Arms Control and Security (LACACIS) voted overwhelmingly to adopt a policy statement supporting the recently negotiated Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with Iran (JCPOA).

“If Iran is held to full compliance with the JCPOA by strict verification and enforcement, the agreement will reduce the risk of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, and reduce the likelihood of military conflict over Iran’s nuclear program,” the recommendation stated.

“Though imperfect and subject to many possible pitfalls, we believe this agreement represents the best realistic prospect for insuring that Iran’s nuclear activities remain peaceful, while a vigilant eye is maintained on Iran’s continuing actions.”

Pete Sheehey, president of LACACIS, who also is a Los Alamos County Councilor, walked the attendees through a point by point review of the history and the main provisions of the agreement. He touched on many of the most controversial issues that have been raised in the highly partisan discussion.

Since the deal was signed on July 14 in Vienna after 20 months of talks, the agreement’s supporters by the end of last week claimed to have enough committed Democrats in the Senate, 35 so far, to uphold a veto of an unfavorable bill.

In the final analysis, Sheehey said, the 18 months of negotiations had been most remarkable because the agreement on such a complicated and comprehensive plan had actually been reached between Iran and the six parties, including Russia and China, who have many diverging interests among them.

“Getting them all back to the table to get something better is a long shot,” Sheehey said. “Does it satisfy nobody? Perhaps … but is it better than nothing?”

The answer to that is a provisional yes, but with the added vigilance of the International Atomic Energy Agency and a suite of non-proliferation tools and practices, the supporters believe the risks can be contained and that Iran will be induced to cooperate in order to have the economic sanctions permanently lifted.

In some ways, the division between those who support the agreement and those opposed comes down to tolerance – tolerance of the uncertainties and mutual tolerance of former antagonists. As steering committee member George Chapman said, “This is not intended to solve every problem that could arise with Iran.”

Despite the work that remains to be done, “the Iran nuclear deal was hard-won and is better than any other reasonably achievable alternative,” Former LANL director and senior fellow of the Center for International Security and Cooperation Siegfried S. Hecker wrote in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists on the day the agreement was signed.

Pete Sheehey, LACASIS

Pete Sheehey, LACASIS

Among the positive outcomes, Sheehey said, was “a degree of verification” that seemed impossible before the negotiations. “I was stunned at how much they actually agreed to,” Sheehey said. “This buys time.”

Iran also agreed to a substantial reduction in the amount of near-weapons grade materials kept in inventory while the number of centrifuges for enriching uranium will also be greatly decreased, thus pushing up the time it might take to produce a nuclear weapon from the current two-to-three months to something close to one year for the first 10 years of the agreement.

The recommendation concludes with a reminder that Congressional support will be needed for success. Along with vigilance and strict enforcement, the statement concludes, “Congress should properly fund all such monitoring and sanctioning programs, and maintain our intelligence and national technical means to supplement international monitoring programs.

An independent, non-governmental organization active in Los Alamos since 1986 and composed of a number of former laboratory employees, LACACIS has specialized in reviewing arms control treaties and agreements, including the two START treaties, the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.

President Francois Hollande will give a news conference on Monday to clarify the matter, but government officials are refusing to comment on the report yet.

The issue was allegedly discussed at a defense meeting with the president on Friday, and over the last few days unnamed top officials hinted to the French paper that the decision had been made.

Currently, France provides advice and arms to what it describes as “moderate” rebels fighting alongside ISIS in Syria.

Corrupt “Blue Gang” Reign of Terror Continues

…by Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

It began a month ago with the viral video.  Here a grey haired “mama’s boy with a gun” cop draws on a very calm and very organized guy who keeps the camera going.  Three weeks later, local police break into a home in a bizarre raid, beating a local citizen, roughing up his school age daughter, in an attempt to bully and intimidate someone who helped spread the video above.

fff_1010

Where is this maniac cop today? Does he still have a gun? Armed and Dangerous

When a police officer draws a gun and there is no evidence that he or she is protecting persons or property or attempting to capture a “fleeing felon,” it can be legally assumed they are perpetrating a violent crime and may be subjected to deadly force.  The only mitigating factor here is that they are in reasonable fear of their lives.

A good challenge to this is pointing out that when a police officer involved in the commission of a felony, as seen here, is afraid of being interfered with, the shoe is on the other foot.

An armed citizen can then use lethal force in protection of person, under reasonable fear for one’s life, based on any irregular action by a police officer that can give rise to the assumption that the police officer is a uniformed criminal acting outside his reasonable authority.

Get legal advise before accepting this statement, which in itself is not intended as something to be relied on particularly when police are trained to lie and by habit, support the lies of each other.

Let’s make this clear… 90% of police departments in the US are professional, some bad actors, but competently managed and worthy of our support and careful supervision.  Those that aren’t need to be disbanded and organizing all of America in this process is absolutely necessary, without any distinctions about black or white lives mattering.

The video above is typical of most recent incidents, one in which a police officer draws his gun in violation of federal civil rights statutes in order to threaten or intimidate a citizen in what one can rightly assume, were one to live in Rhonert Park, California, is a pattern of public corruption and racketeering in which police act as mob enforcers.

This takes us back to the JT Ready killing in Arizona.  Ready, a self proclaimed “border vigilante” ran afoul of a local police department affiliated with the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.  The story behind what was reported, JT killing his family, was a police murder of Ready, accidentally leaving behind a young witness who has been silenced.

VT editor Mike Harris, former GOP candidate for governor of Arizona, knew Ready well and the circumstances of his killing.  Soon afterward in a related murder, Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever,  man who stood against the cartels, died in a “one car accident” that was a “Boston Brakes” homicide.

When Dever was killed, the cartels flooded into Sierra Vista, Arizona taking over local government and police in this military town where America’s intelligence and drone pilot schools are located.  For this we have republished one of our favorite stories about corruption in Arizona from 2012, but not before finding that all our reporting on Arizona has been suppressed and some articles planted with malware by Google.

As for Rhonert Park, we suggest citizen militas be established, properly incorporated as 501c3 tax exempt entities and petition to replace the existing police department through federal court.

As California prohibits open carry of firearms except by criminalized gangs in uniform, we suggest that local protective organizations seek licensing as private armed police forces as soon as possible.

The Pentagon releases a stupid Chinese aggression hoax story to shadow their 70th WWII anniversary where millions died. How cheap is that?

This is not an active window - Interview is below

This screeg grab is not active  – Interview is below

… by  Jim W. Dean, VT Editor  …  with  Press TV, Tehran

Yes, the Pentagon tried to rain on China's parade

Yes, the Pentagon tried to rain on China’s parade

[ Editor’s Note:  This might go down as the week the Pentagon press people went crazy. You can see Gordon’s trifecta of weird stories on them in his War Zone postings this week with total fabrications starting with his Kosher Klowns burn down the Pentagon. It’s been an entertaining week to say the least.

I can’t believe they could be so stupid as to be sandbagged multiple times in a row, so that leaves only that they were doing it on orders as a diversion. The Russians moving a large fighting force into Syria was off the scale ludicrous. We even had Putin step in to back us up on that one. We thank the big bear for that hug.

Then we see the third big chemical explosion in China in two weeks get almost no world press after we had published that our nuclear experts had confirmed the first as a mini-nuke from all the destruction evidence, which those who have been on past investigations havw been trained on what to look for.

So when Press TV called me to do this interview, on the phone I could not really understand what the story was because there did not seem to be one, so I asked that it be sent so I could review. They did, and I was right.

Chiang Kai-shek

Chiang Kai-shek

It was a non-story, so that left me with commenting on why the Pentagon would both us by even putting this out. So a handful of Chinese ships are training in international waters. Who cares? The US has been doing it forever, but who else has fired in anger besides us?

In the interview below I had missed the Chinese 70th ending of WWII anniversary being this week. Yes, we do get distracted around here and to not catch it all in real time. The Western leaders had shamed themselves by stiffing the Chinese through their non-attendance of the event for cheap political motives.

Our Chinese ally Chiang Kai-shek spent most of our WWII money buying GM stock and arming up to fight the Communists when they were done beating the Japanese.

So what I finally figured out is that this stupid Bering Sea Chinese flotilla “harem scarem” story was just more cheap political manipulation to wee wee on China’s big event with this silly “Chinese making aggressive naval maneuvers” story.

I bad. I apologize. But I did get the diversion part right, I just did not tie it in to the 70thJim W. Dean ]

The US exaggerates China’s military threat in a bid to make Beijing look frightening in the eyes of the American public, says a political commentator and journalist in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jim W. Dean, a managing editor at Veterans Today, made the remarks when asked about the US military sightings of a fleet of Chinese warships near the US coasts of Alaska.

“This is a very strange story; it is a classic case of the US and the Pentagon sometimes wanting to get something into the news to plant some seed of fear about China over nothing,” Dean told Press TV on Thursday.

“It is being puffed up,” it is part of a military confrontation with China that the US Navy exaggerates, he added.

The Pentagon officials said on Wednesday that they have been tracking the movements of the Chinese fleet seeing them move toward the Aleutian Islands.

“This would be a first in the vicinity of the Aleutian Islands,” one official noted about the warships, which have been operating in international waters. “I don’t think we’d characterize anything they’re doing as threatening.”

Dean, however, said that the story is nothing but “propaganda” and part of a “hype” that the US military has designed to avert the public attention from more important matters.

He noted that Washington is trying to “manipulate the public opinion” and introduce China as a “military threat.”

Beijing and Washington have been inching towards a military confrontation during the past few months.

China accuses the United States of meddling with regional issues and purposely playing up existing tensions in the South China Sea, over half of which Beijing claims sovereignty.

Beijing, in return, showcased its strategic Dongfeng (East wind) 21D missile, dubbed the “carrier-killer.” The much-speculated weapon is deemed a major threat to aircraft carriers which form the basis of Washington’s current naval strategy.

We ended on a more positive note by talking about the two Ohio police officers we used a tourniquet to save a mans life. Then we jumped into what it takes to make a fighting rifle i.e. what should go in to a good fighting rifle. Be sure to join us next show to hear about practical line gear setup and application.

Norway Bank Issues Bizarre “Jew Haters” Credit Card – Veterans Today

The card annoyed The Hallelu Foundation, which tries to create a positive image of Israel in the world. The foundation has accused the bank of anti-Semitism.

The foundation contacted the bank and asked to clarify the situation. DNB said that the design of the card was chosen by a customer of the bank.

“We have been notified about a picture of a Visa card issued by us, with an anti-Semitic drawing of a Jew. We have, however, strict guidelines for what kind of pictures that are allowed, and this control is manual. Unfortunately, our manual controls have failed in this particular case, and we are deeply sorry for that,” stated the apology from the bank published on Hallelu’s Facebook page.

The bank also clarified that the card will be blocked, and the client will be given a new one with a neutral design.

6 Responses to “Norway Bank Issues Bizarre “Jew Haters” Credit Card

  1. Here is the deal:
You can send in a picture of your own choosing with your credit card application and the card will be printed with that background. In this case someone (with a jewish name?) has sent in a photo that was missed as the bank screens for unsuitable photos. May be a provocation…

  2. Where can I apply for one of those? My credit rating is OK……..

  3. Shylocke.

  4. They sure did have sharp uniforms. The holocaust (burnt offering) never happened and the victim society aren’t semitic in any stretch of ones imagination. They are probably certifiable though.

  5. Copy and paste. Make up your own little cc and flash it around. This should go viral.
The juze? Who gives a s*** what they think.

    • How about instead of a striped shirt, one that looks like an SS Waffen uniform.LOL!
Those dudes knew how to dress snappy.

Aussie Jews Attack Abbot for Saying Israeli Backed ISIS “Worse than Hitler” – Veterans Today

.

<!– –>

At least he didn’t say Netanyahu is “Worse than Hitler” like the British are doing

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry labeled the comparison “injudicious and unfortunate” particularly since ISIS is backed by the Israeli government.

The debate took place while Tony Abbott was interviewed by firebrand broadcaster Alan Jones on Fairfax radio station 2GB. The PM stated that Canberra will decide whether to join airstrikes on Syria against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) next week when Defence Minister Kevin Andrews returns to Australia. He ruled out allegations that his government was simply trying to frighten people about IS.

“It’s nonsense, turn on your televisions, look at what is happening. The latest atrocity apparently was four young men being strung up and burnt alive,” Abbott said.

“The Nazis did terrible evil, but they had a sufficient sense of shame to try to hide it. These people [IS] boast about their evil, this is the extraordinary thing. They act in the way that medieval barbarians acted, only they broadcast it to the world with an effrontery which is hard to credit,” he added.

“Acts of terrorism are necessarily done in the full glare of publicity for their propaganda effect. In contrast, those responsible for ordering and implementing systematic state-sponsored genocide are high government officials who often operate in secret not out of any sense of shame, but to avoid being held criminally responsible for their actions,” Goot told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“The crimes of Islamic State are indeed horrific, but cannot be compared to the systematic round-up of millions of people and their despatch to purpose-built death camps for mass murder,” he told the newspaper.

Abbott rejected criticism from the Jewish rights group, saying, “I stand [by] what I said, not by the interpretation that other people might want to put on it,” noting that he was “not in the business of trying to rank evil.”

“But I do make this point, that unlike previous evil-doers, whether we’re talking about Stalin, Hitler or whoever, that tried to cover up their evil, this wretched death cult boasts about it,” he said. ‘Death cult’ is Abbott’s preferred description of IS.

WWII lasted from 1939 to 1945 and involved over 80 countries and regions. Up to 70 million people are believed to have lost their lives. The USSR suffered the biggest losses. At least 27 million Soviet citizens died during the war. About 6 million Jews from across Europe were killed during the Holocaust, launched by the Nazis.

After capturing large parts of Iraq and Syria last summer, IS declared a caliphate. The extremist organization has a reputation for ethnic cleansings of minorities and executions of Western hostages, a number of journalists among them.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 320,000 people have died in the Syrian civil war since March 2011, in which IS is fighting. The observatory estimates that 108,086 civilians, including 11,493 children and 7,371 women have lost their lives. IS currently controls about one-third of Iraq and Syria.

The rights group released a report in July stated that IS militants used chemical weapons while shelling a Kurdish village in late June, in what is said to be the first well-documented case of such an attack against Kurds. Reports of IS militants using toxic substances such as chlorine gas in warfare began to appear after the jihadists seized a former and substantial Iraqi chemical weapons plant in June, 2014.

  1. No one has substantiated the 6 million Jews meme. It IS an unwisely accepted propaganda that has hoodwinked and murdered innocents for generations. 6 million Jewish deaths in the “holocaust” is a perennial lie that continues to poison sensible communication around the world. Since the Soviet archives were opened to researchers, even Yad Vashem agreed to a reduction of deaths at Auschwitz from 4 million to 1.1 million but the Zionist holocaust industry has nevertheless maintained the 6 million lie. Then the International Red Cross opened their files that reduced the number still more. All of this is public knowledge, yet we continue with the lie as though it were true. This agreement to maintain the lie must stop. At a minimum “6 million” should be surrounded with quotes to denote the hypothesis instead of the truth.

  2. That is quite an honest assessment, Aziz. Even more so when taken into consideration the holocaust (burnt offering) is a fallacy.

  3. There is no monopoly in human suffering especially when those that protest the most to historical injustices are the very ones dispensing suffering to most people in our times.
