South Korea is building a $35 billion city designed to eliminate the need for cars

The International Business District (IBD) in Songdo, South Korea.

Gale International

When residents of the International Business District (IBD) in Songdo, South Korea go to work, pick up their kids from school, or shop for groceries, driving is optional.

That’s because the $35 billion district — currently a work-in-progress about the size of downtown Boston — was designed to eliminate the need for cars.

A project that began in 2002, the area prioritizes mass transit, like buses, subways, and bikes, instead of road traffic, according to Stan Gale, the chairman of Gale International, the developer behind the IBD.

When completed by 2020, the district will span 100 million square feet. It’s located on the northwest side of South Korea (the opposite coast of Pyeongchang, the site of the 2018 Winter Olympics).

Take a look at the IBD’s plan below.

Menopause remedies designed to balance your hormones and help you lose weight naturally

Image: Menopause remedies designed to balance your hormones and help you lose weight naturally

(Natural News)
Of all the discomforts that can accompany menopause – including insomnia, mood changes and hot flashes – the most frustrating of all may be unintended weight gain. The fact is: the lifestyle choices women successfully used to maintain healthy weight in their 20s and 30s may begin to fail in menopause.

According to nationally recognized metabolism expert, Dr. Jade Teta, natural solutions do exist – and they involve a complete change in attitude toward diet, exercise and other lifestyle habits.

Don’t let menopause get you down or control your life. On the next NaturalHealth365 Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and integrative physician Dr. Jade Teta discuss the in-depth science behind menopausal changes – and offer practical tools to change your body and optimize your health. If you are struggling with menopausal distress and weight gain, you won’t want to miss this (vitally important) show.

Metabolic fatigue and hormonal imbalances fuel the problems linked to menopause

According to Dr. Teta, there is a profound difference in the way women 40 and over respond to diet and exercise, as compared to women in their 20s and 30s. In other words, a “low-calorie” diet is often not enough. In order for weight loss to occur, calories must not only be reduced – but, hormones (particularly insulin and cortisol) must be balanced.

“Insulin and cortisol,” notes Dr. Teta, “are a bad hormonal combination for fat loss.”

Dr. Teta notes that estrogen is an insulin-sensitizing hormone that helps to control the negative effects of cortisol – a “stress” hormone with fat-storing effects. Progesterone can work together with estrogen in controlling this negative impact.

However, levels of estrogen and progesterone recede at menopause, causing the metabolism to slow down and the body to become more stress reactive – and more sensitive to carbohydrates.

To learn more about the best foods and lifestyle habits – while going through menopause – join us for the next NaturalHealth365 Talk Hour with Jonathan Landsman and Dr. Jade Teta.

The metabolic fix involves making intelligent changes to diet, exercise and other lifestyle habits

Dr. Teta advises using an “insulin-centric” approach rather than a caloric approach. This involves controlling not only refined sugars, but all foods that have potential insulin-promoting effects – even if these foods are regarded as “healthy.”

These insulin-promoting foods include whole grain breads, sweet fruits and dairy foods. While nothing is particularly wrong with these foods, Dr. Teta reports that they may work against you in menopause – even if they formed a central part of your diet in younger, leaner days.

The answer is to reduce consumption of these foods – while increasing intake of low-starch vegetables, low-sugar fruits (such as berries, apples and pears) and healthy amounts of high-protein foods, such as ethically-raised (chemical free) chicken and wild-caught fish.

Because long-duration exercises can exacerbate the negative effects of cortisol, Dr. Teta advises short – but intense – exercise sessions for menopausal women. It is also important to balance intense training with moderate training – and alternate both with periods of rest and recovery.

In addition to balancing hormones, eating the correct diet and getting proper exercise, Dr. Teta might advise managing menopause with the use of natural supplements and a detailed program to improve the quality of your sleep. (so important)

This Green School In Bali Is Designed To Have The Lowest Carbon Footprint Possible

By Fattima Mahdi Truth Theory

The Green School is situated in the heart of the Indonesian jungle, Bali. The school is made entirely of bamboo and features a unique, holistic curriculum that inspires approximately 400 young learners to become green leaders.

The school was founded by John Hardy and his wife Cynthia, they were jewelers who were initially drawn to Bali for its emphasis on craftsmanship. They home-schooled their four children for years before deciding to start The Green School in 2008. “Green School is a model we built for the world,” said John Hardy. “And you just have to follow these three simple rules: Be local, let the environment lead, and think about how your grandchildren might build.”

What do you want in a school? When you step onto a school campus, what do you want to see, hear, experience and feel? Imagine this, a school without walls, a campus which ignites the senses and the natural curiosity of children, a place where innovation, creativity and learning flourish, a community, which has come together from all corners of the globe to share new experiences, a place of joy.” – Leslie Medema, Head of Academics

“Our curriculum is based on three frames of learning: proficiency, thematic, and experiential,” says Noan Fesnoux, the school’s Green Studies Projects Coordinator. “The thematic frame is integrative, taking a topic and exploring it from all viewpoints. For example, for a unit on hydroelectricity, we incorporate geography through looking at dams around the world, physics through concepts like pressure and electric generators, social studies through stories of displaced families, and environmental science through impact studies of dams.”

With its dynamic campus and radical approach to teaching and learning, the Green School has gained a lot of attention from parents all over the world. Some parents have even moved to Bali so that they can send their children to the school.  One day, the Green School hopes that its model will become the norm and not the exception.

Did the World Just Avoid Two False Flag Attempts Designed to Start World War III?

The Trump phenomenon is picking up steam, not just in America, but internationally. Worldwide people are rejecting the globalists. The reason for this phenomenon is because freedom and the subsequent development of an internal locus of control is an innate trait.

In a stunning example of this rejection of globalism is exemplified by North and South Korea. Here are two nations, with a common heritage, on the verge of nuclear war with each other, and they have for the time being, rejected the globalist move towards World War III.  The two Koreas are going to march together in the Olympics. The two Koreas are going to form on joint olympic hockey team. This is significant beyond belief. In the chaos leading up to WW III, the people and the leadership of the two countries are telling the globalists where to go and what to do when they get they get there. This announcement is a stunning rebuke of globalist goals. It further demonstrates that war is an unnatural act. The Hopis’ have a saying that no tree is so foolish to have branches so stupid to attack themselves. We are the only species on the planet that engages in this insane behavior we call war. The desire for war, especially a war that could wipe out the bulk of humanity is so insane that both North Korea and South Korea have rejected the move. I have one caveat for the wonderful Korean people, beware of false flags at the Olympics because one does not say “no” to the globalists with impunity.

In many ways, Trump’s election was a kind of Magna Carta and a Declaration of Independence all in one fell swoop and now the globalists are trying to find ways to fight back and their efforts are falling on deaf ears. Here in Arizona, Senator Jeff Flake(y), has announced that he is not running for re-election. Why? Because Flake cannot defeat any number of challengers to his seat (eg Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Congresswoman Sinema). Why is Flake so unpopular in Arizona? The answer is painfullly obvious, he opposes Trump’s nationalist agenda of making “America Great Again”.

Flake is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He opposes the recovery of the middle class, the wiping out of the free-trade agreements. He is a closet globalist who has gone as far as he can in his political career because the people of Arizona have tagged him a globalist who really hates America. He is politically washed up and now he is exhibiting the two year old tendencies of a temper tantrum in which Flake(y) stated that President Trump’s treatment of the fake news media reminds him of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. As shocking and disrespectful as these comments were, nobody was paying attention. Flake delivered his comments in an empty chamber of the US Senate. Only two Democrats attended.

There can be no question that Flake is trying to draw favor from the globalists as he lives out his final days as Arizona’s junior senator. However, he and his message are rejected and like so many globalists are finding, they and their message of hate and division are being rebuked by humanity, not just by Americans. The populism of Trump is triumphing in America. However, there is not cause for celebration because the globalists are redoubling their efforts against Trump ultimately against humanity.

Nobel Prize winning economist Robert Shiller has brought the extremist globalist war against the common man out in the open when he stated that Trump is an avowed “nationalist” who must be stopped at all costs.

CNBC one of the waterboys for the New World Order, stated that Shiller says the world’s leaders find it “troublesome” that Trump’s nationalism” was thwarting the rising tide of a globalist takeover.

I find it incredible that Schiller put globalism on display for all to see. CNBC quoted Shiller as bemoaning the fact that .“Trump is a revolution unfortunately, who’s reaffirming nationalism…”

Shiller stated that Trump’s “nationalist” victories will be short-lived because the Democrats will recapture Congress in the mid-term elections and Trump’s “America First” agenda will be effectively derailed. I am absolutely stunned how open the globalist are now becoming. They are not even hiding their agenda as they have for so many decades. Terms like “conspiracy theorist” no longer carry the punch that they once did.

Shiller said Trump’s nationalist agenda is crazy. Apple just announced that they are investing $350 Billion in American plants. This is on the heels of Cadillac making the same kind of announcement as have dozens of “globalist corporations” who are defecting to Trump because they can make more money under the new tax plan than they can under the marxist-socialist policies of the wannabe elite.

Shiller issued a threat to all men and women of common means. He stated that upcoming economic forum in Davos will find ways to stunt “the international growth of populism and nationalism that has surged as a result of Brexit and Trump”.

I believe that privately, assassination and a coup against the American government will be considered in the side-bar meetings that will take place. I am publicly advising the President to not attend the Davos conference as I believe his life is in extreme danger at this conference.

Shiller refers to the Trump phenomenon as a virus that has to be controlled and destroyed. Shiller and a rising number of globalists are openly referring to populism as a threat that must be destroyed by any and all means possible as the planet marches toward globalism. Shiller and the rest of the globalists have openly declared war on humanity. There is no limit to what these people will not do.

From the discussions I have had since the Hawaiian so-called fake missile alert, I have concluded that there was a indeed a missile fired at Hawaii in which it is my personal opinion that this was an attempt to provoke the American people into wanting WW III against North Korea. I believe that this missile was brought down and then the coverup started.  I have learned that the mechanism of warning of an impending attack is a 5 step process and the excuse that a wrong button was pushed in shift change is ridiculous. The readers may recall that the next day the same thing happened in Japan in which it was revealed that their system mimics the American system and is also a 5 step process before an alert is issued. I believe that what we will find as these two events are unveiled is that two missiles were fired in order to achieve the same end. I believe that this was a false flag attack attempting  to frame North Korea for starting World War III. It is also my opinion that this attempted attack was in response to the announcement that the two Koreas are attempting to align along sports, namely, the Olympics. The globalists are desperate to not let this war of planetary unification commence against North Korea. I think it is clear that the world just avoided two attempted false flag events designed to produce World War III.  Details are already leaking out and it will not be long until we have more proof to support my hypothesis. There is no question that the events in Hawaii were fabricated.

CBS Comedy: Religion Full of ‘Ancient, Pointless Rules,’ Designed to Make You ‘Feel Bad’

If you’ve ever watched The Big Bang Theory or its new spin-off Young Sheldon, you already know that both shows love to remind viewers how much main character Sheldon doesn’t believe in God and likes to bash Christianity. But just in case you missed the 5,924,835 references that came before, Thursday night’s episode of Young Sheldon, “Demons, Sunday School, and Prime Numbers,” made sure to remind everyone once again.

The episode kicks off with young Sheldon (Iain Armitage) playing Dungeons & Dragons with his friends Tam (Ryan Phuong) and Billy. Sheldon’s mom Mary (Zoe Perry) walks in and is shocked to discover that the game contains demons and the Devil.

“I’m worried,” Mary later tells Sheldon’s father and grandmother “Meemaw” (Annie Potts). “There are incantations in this book to summon actual demons.” She talks to the other parents about it.

Billy’s father isn’t concerned about there being demonology in the game and it being against the teachings of their southern Baptist church as long as “nobody’s touchin’ nothin’” and “everybody’s got their trousers up.” He’s also happy that Billy has friends and isn’t “eating dirt and crabgrass anymore.” He then proceeds to hit on Mary. Typical caricature from Hollywood of the southern, mostly conservative and Christian state of Texas where the show takes place. Texans must all be naive, unintelligent, hypocritical “rednecks,” of course.

Mary finally has Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) from the family’s church over to the house to discuss the issue. He tells them:

At a recent Young Baptist Leaders Conference, I attended a seminar on satanic leisure activities. And the important lesson is, rather than have a parent or authority figure take the offending game away, let God remove it, root and stem… Sheldon needs to start attending Sunday school. If he likes books with demons and devils, I’ve got one that will blow his mind.

Sheldon hates the Sunday school idea and tells the pastor that he doesn’t believe in God. Eventually, though, he surprisingly starts to read the Bible to study for Sunday school.

Sheldon’s parents are impressed by his study of the Bible and Mary tells her husband that she’s grateful now for the Dungeons & Dragons game because it helped lead Sheldon to God. But Mary’s joy soon turns to despair when Sheldon announces that he’s planning to study other religions as well, including voodoo.

Sheldon turns to his friend Tam first to ask about his religion, Catholicism, and ends up getting very uneducated answers. There’s also a nasty slam on the Catholic church. Because, of course:

Sheldon: Tam, you’re Catholic, right?

Tam: Yes.

Sheldon: Explain it to me.

Tam: Explain what?

Sheldon: Well, for starters, who do you pray to?

Tam: I guess, Jesus, God and Mary.

Sheldon: Jesus isn’t God?

Tam: No, He’s his Son. But you do eat Him, and drink His blood. Oh, there’s also a Ghost, but not the scary kind.

Sheldon: Like Casper?

Tam: Exactly.

Sheldon: And how does the Pope work?

Tam: Well, the Pope lives in Italy. He has a special car, and a big pointy hat. It’s a wonderful hat.

Sheldon: And is there anything else I should know about?

Tam: Every once in a while, you have to confess your sins to a priest.

Sheldon: Not me, I don’t have any sins.

Tam: Then you have the sin of pride.

Sheldon: Your religion is making me feel bad.

Tam: That’s how you know it’s working.

Things go downhill from there as Meemaw arranges a meeting between her Jewish friend, Ira, and Sheldon to explain Judaism, which, according to Ira, is about being punished by God and following “ancient, pointless rules.”

Sheldon: What’s it like to be Jewish?

Ira: Oh, it’s terrible. I don’t recommend it.

Sheldon: Why?

Ira: Well, for starters, your life is hemmed in by ancient, pointless rules. There’s a lot of yelling, and, uh, you’re probably not gonna get into a good country club.

Sheldon: What about God?

Ira: What about Him?

Sheldon: Does He play a part in your life?

Ira: Well, historically, He’s gotten a kick out of punishing us.

Sheldon: What about Jesus? He was Jewish.

Ira: Oh, we’ve got a lot of celebrities. Uh, we’ve got, uh, we got William Shatner, and Leonard Nimoy…

Sheldon: Kirk and Spock? I want to be Jewish.

Ira: Hold on a second. Hold– I got a question for you, Sheldon. When you grow up, are you planning on living in Texas?

Sheldon: Probably.

Ira: Then I strongly advise you to stay Baptist. Maybe even wear a cross.

Mary finally tells Sheldon that it’s “important to keep in mind that there is only one true God.” When Sheldon tells her, “That’s called monotheism,” and offers her a book about it, Mary tells him, “That’s okay. I have The Book about it.”

Sheldon asks, “Would you be angry with me if I don’t pick your religion?” Mary tells him, “I could never be angry with you. You be a seeker of your own truth…And if the truth turns out to be Satan, I will do battle with him.”

Sheldon then falls asleep on his research books and begins to have a dream about religion where he discovers that the “10” Commandments are really binary code:

Male voice: Welcome, Sheldon.

Female voice: We’ve been waiting for you.

Sheldon: Are you the Ten Commandments?

Male: No. We are one.

Female: And zero.

Male: We are the binary code that underlies the universe.

Female: The ten thing is a common mistake.

Sheldon: I want to understand God. Can you help me?

Male: Did you not hear what we just said?

Female: It’s a binary universe.

Male: God is yes and no.

Female: Left and right.

Male: On and off.

Female: Something and nothing.

Male: Positive and negative.

Female: Male and female.

Male: Light and dark.

Sheldon: But why is there evil and suffering?

Female: Well, without evil and suffering, there is no good and happiness.

Sheldon: Oh, sure. Binary.

Sheldon then announces in Sunday school that he’s starting his own religion called “Mathology,” based on a “universal binary system,” and that he’s there to “convert everybody.” As Pastor Jeff hurries him out of the room to have a talk with his mother, Sheldon says on the way out, “The only sin in Mathology is being stupid.”

Does that mean that the writers of this show are sinners in the world of Mathology by writing this twisted, defamatory script on religion, then?

How To Improve Your Eyesight Naturally – Designed By An Ophthalmologist Over 100 Years Ago

Next Story

As the dirty secrets behind Westernized medicine continue to be revealed (1, 2, and 3), more people are turning towards naturopathic and traditional Eastern medicine. Personally, I put high importance on my diet and use essential oils and other natural remedies regularly.

However, I wear eyeglasses and have never given any thought to alternative treatments for my near-sightedness. Glasses have the same Band-Aid effect that pharmaceuticals do; they’re a quick fix and don’t solve the underlying problem.

We get our eyes tested on a biennial basis and trust our optometrists to administer these tests and our corrective lenses. But I don’t extend the same trust to conventional medicine doctors that I used to, so why shouldn’t I go above and beyond what my optometrist suggests and do a little research of my own?

Many people claim to have naturally healed their eyesight through a combination of mental and physical exercises. Greg Marsh, a certified natural vision coach, maintains that perfect vision can be achieved by anyone, even those who wear prescription glasses. Marsh corrected his own eyesight using a technique called the Bates Method.

What is the Bates Method?

Dr. William H. Bates, a certified ophthalmologist, designed his method to naturally correct eyesight over 100 years ago. Norman Doidge, M.D. explains in his book The Brain’s Way of Healing that it was so effective that Bates was forced out of his position at the New York Post-Graduate Medical School and his teachings were banned in New York after optometrists lobbied politicians, stating that it threatened their business model. This isn’t surprising, since we have seen this happen numerous times in the healthcare industry (source).

How the Bates Method actually works:

You have 6 muscles on the outside of your eye and if they strain too much, your vision becomes impaired. A common misconception is that when you squint, your eyesight improves, but this actually increases strain and therefore worsens it. The backbone of the Bates Method rests on faith and meditation; if you’re confident your eyesight will improve and you relax your eyes enough to remove the strain, you can correct your vision.

The most popular exercise used in the Bates Method is referred to as “palming,” the act of placing your palms on your eyelids while they’re closed shut. Beforehand, you observe your surroundings, being mindful of the clarity of your vision.

Then, you apply your palms to your eyes and allow your entire body to enter into a state of relaxation (you can lay your forehead down if this helps). You use the free flow of energy between your hands and eyelids to send love and relaxation to your eyes. You may also envision your eyes forming a natural, round shape. When you’re ready to open your eyes, you will likely experience clearer vision than you had before the exercise, even if it’s only for a brief moment.

Another common exercise is called the Bates Long Swing, whereby you simply sway your body back and forth. This helps to relax the brain and affects your thought patterns, thus having an effect on your eyes as well. This encourages movement and reduces the tendency to stare, ultimately minimizing the strain on your eyes. (source)

Lastly, Bates suggested meditating on the colours blue and black, as this mimics the effect complete darkness has on the eyes. Bihar Munger, author of Yogic Management of Common Diseases, explains that closing the eyes and envisioning blue stimulates the third eye chakra. By opening the third eye you can in turn strengthen your eyesight, as this chakra can help you discover what’s causing your visual impairment in the first place.

How To Correct Your Vision According to Tibetan Monks

Another way to naturally correct your vision is by using the Tibetan eye chart. The philosophy behind Tibetan medicine is that all beings are connected to their surrounding environment. It is believed that ailments are caused by a combination of diet and physical health, personal relationships, and climate. The Tibetan eye chart was created by Tibetan Lama monks to strengthen the optic nerves and muscles to correct vision.

New Vision Manual

How To Use The Tibetan Eye Chart

  1. Hang the chart on a wall or place it in front of you with the centre of the chart aligned with your nose. Then, touch the centre spot of the image with your nose.
  2. Without moving your head, allow your eyes to follow along the outer edges of each arm of the figure, including the dots, in a clockwise motion.
  3. Once finished, blink and relax your eyes.
  4. Repeat the exercise counterclockwise.
  5. Blink and relax eyes.
  6. Repeat as many times as desired.
  7. Once finished, completely relax the body and slow the breath. To aid in relaxing your eyes, engage in palming. Keep palms cupped around your eyes for at least 30 seconds (the longer, the better).
  8. Recommended to practice for a few minutes every morning and night.

How Vitamin A Can Improve Your Eyesight

Over the course of my childhood, my mother would constantly tell me to eat carrots to improve my eyesight. This is a common phrase heard in many households which actually has some truth to it. The body utilizes beta-carotene to make vitamin A, which helps our eyes convert light into a signal that’s transmitted to the brain, enabling us to see during poor lighting conditions.

Numerous studies have proven the correlation between increasing your intake of vitamin A and reducing your likelihood of poor vision. One study performed on pregnant women proved that by increasing your consumption of carrots, you could improve your night vision. If you have poor night vision or have difficulty seeing in general, try increasing your intake of vitamin A!

Eyesight is arguably the most important of the 5 senses because it represents the visual connection to our surrounding environment. Eyes have also been referred to as the gateway to the soul, which means they can be used as a tool to look beyond the physical world and into the spiritual. Perhaps if we have poor eyesight, this is merely the universe encouraging us to look within. Regardless of the cause of your visual impairment, I encourage you to set aside your glasses (and your reservations) and try one or more of these methods!

Apple Publicly Admits The iPhone Is Designed Not To Last

Next Story

Not long ago, a study was published suggesting that Apple deliberately sabotages its old products. The study was performed by student Laura Trucco at Harvard University. By reviewing worldwide searches for “iPhone slow,” she found that this phrase was searched more, by a significant amount, whenever a new iPhone was about to be launched.

Trucco then compared her results to the findings of other searchers for Apple’s competitors’ phones,  such as “Samsung Galaxy slow,” and found that the phrase was not searched for more around the time that a new Samsung phone model was released.

The number of Google searches for “iPhone slow” spiked every time a new phone model was launched and made available to the public.

This isn’t uncommon, as most likely you’ve heard people complain about how their iPhones or Mac laptops continue to get slower over time. The point is, it’s fishy how it always coincides with the launch of Apple’s new products.

Over the past few years, this type of sentiment has been common across social media.

It’s also a common business practice. Goods are made to break, if they weren’t, corporations like Apple wouldn’t really experience much profit. Sure, new applications and features may be added, but a lot of money is probably going to be lost if people’s old iPhones are just as fast, and work just as well as the new ones.

Now, Apple has admitted to the correlation, but provided an explanation. Because older iPhones have aged batteries, the device slows down and doesn’t perform as well because it’s compensating for the poor battery and it spends more energy on trying to avoid forced and unexpected shutdowns, not because they want people to upgrade.

That being said, it’s quite clear that they do want people to upgrade, it’s the only way to sustain the company. They must keep releasing new products every single year, and the truth is, they probably already have a few years worth of products lined up so they can keep ahead of themselves.

In a statement to Buzzfeed, Apple said:

“Our goal is to deliver the best experience for customers, which includes overall performance and prolonging the life of their devices. Lithium-ion batteries become less capable of supplying peak current demands when in cold conditions, have a low battery charge or as they age over time, which can result in the device unexpectedly shutting down to protect its electronic components.

Last year we released a feature for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE to smooth out the instantaneous peaks only when needed to prevent the device from unexpectedly shutting down during these conditions. We’ve now extended that feature to iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2, and plan to add support for other products in the future.”

So what’s the solution to your slow iPhone? Get a new battery. That being said, they are purposefully designing their phones and providing you updates in accordance with planned obsolescence.

Co-living apartment designed as "social overlapping" experiment for students

The world’s cities are urbanizing at a rapidly accelerating pace. More than half of the world’s population living in urban centres today, and that is expected to surpass six billion by 2045. So it’s no surprise that affordable urban housing is a big issue, with some proposing micro-housing, or alternative living and home ownership arrangements to meet growing demand.

Co-living might be one of these solutions. Created by Italian design think-tank Fabrica as part of a “Space Scholarship” for seven cash-strapped students in Bangkok, Thailand, these two shared living spaces integrate schemes that are flexible, modular and encourage a community atmosphere amongst its residents. Here’s a bird’s eye view of the girls’ apartment:

Fabrica© Fabrica

The scholarship is part of a corporate social responsibility initiative by AP Public Company Limited, a Thai property developer. The concept is to foster communication and human relationships among the male and female scholars, who come from diverse backgrounds.

The design itself aims to promote a sense of self-sufficiency and shared responsibility, through “social overlapping” of spaces and versatile functions integrated into each furniture piece. For instance, the furniture such as the built-in beds and bunks can either be open for more socializing, or closed up with curtains for more privacy. The main table serves as a dining spot when the hinged partitions are opened up, and acts as a cozy study desk for four when the partitions are up.

The use of mobile, multifunctional and modular components, and storage hidden within these components helps to organize and maximize the space. To save even more space, shelving elements and lamps are hung from rails that extend throughout the apartment, even into the bunks themselves. Here are views of the boys’ apartment:

There’s much more to the co-living concept than merely having some roommates: in expensive cities, co-living can be a relatively affordable, all-inclusive package with perks like housekeeping service; or it might be a hostel-like place where you co-work as well. Alternatively, a co-living situation might involve some co-travelling too, or it might even be part of a global co-living subscription service that allows one to work and travel to different co-living and co-working hubs around the world. But for now, only time will tell whether co-living will help solve the urban housing crisis. For more information, visit Fabrica.

Researchers have designed a new solar device that may finally make hydrogen cars a reality

(Natural News) Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles have crafted a device that can utilize solar energy to effectively and cheaply create and store energy, which could then be used to power electronic devices, and to harness hydrogen fuel for environmentally-friendly cars.

The device allows for inexpensive hydrogen vehicles because it can produce hydrogen using nickel, iron, and cobalt – elements that are much more abundant and less costly than platinum and other precious metals that are at present being used to manufacture hydrogen fuel.

“Hydrogen is a great fuel for vehicles: it is the cleanest fuel known, it’s cheap, and it puts no pollutants into the air – just water. And this could dramatically lower the cost of hydrogen cars,” Richard Kaner, UCLA distinguished professor of chemistry and biochemistry, and of materials science and engineering, who also happened to be the study’s senior author, said.

The new tech, whose details have been explored at length in the journal Energy Storage Materials, can be of essential in help in rural areas, or to places that are particularly remote. “People need fuel to run their vehicles and electricity to run their devices. Now you can make both electricity and fuel with a single device,” said Kaner.

The device can also pave the way for large cities to enable them to conserve surplus electricity from their electrical grids. “If you could convert electricity to hydrogen, you could store it indefinitely,” added Kaner, who is also a member of UCLA’s California NanoSystems Institute.

Conventional hydrogen fuel cells and supercapacitors have two electrodes: one positive and one negative. The device that was designed at UCLA has a third electrode that serves both as a supercapacitor, which stores energy, and as a device for splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen, process called water electrolysis.

All three electrodes are connected to a single solar cell that acts as the device’s power source, and the electrical energy manufactured by the solar cell can be stored in one of two ways: electrochemically in the supercapacitor or chemically as hydrogen.

The device is a breakthrough because it creates hydrogen fuel in an eco-friendly way. Presently, around 95 percent of hydrogen production all over the world is derived from converting fossil fuels such as natural gas into hydrogen – a process that facilitates the release of large amounts of carbon dioxide into the air, said Maher El-Kady, a UCLA postdoctoral researcher and a co-author of the research.

“Hydrogen energy is not ‘green’ unless it is produced from renewable sources,” he said, noting that making use of solar cells and abundantly available items to split water into hydrogen and oxygen has huge potential for lessening the cost of hydrogen manufacture and that the process could be used as substitute for the current method, which relies on fossil fuels.

Jerusalem Move Designed to Create Chaos

December 7, 2017

Trump’s job is not to lead us to the Promised Land. His job, I’m afraid, is to polarize and divide.  They are all FreemasonsTrump, Hillary, Putin, May, Merkel, George Soros, Netanyahu etc. Most members of Congress are. The goal is not one solution or another. Right or Left. Zionism or Islam. The goal is conflict itself – gridlock, war, and chaos. Ordo ab Chao.

“On the fourth and final sexual encounter with the Defendant, Donald J. Trump, the Plaintiff, Katie Johnson, was tied to a bed by Defendant Trump who then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff Johnson. During the course of this savage sexual attack, Plaintiff Johnson loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to ‘please wear a condom’. Defendant Trump responded by violently striking Plaintiff Johnson in the face with his open hand and screaming that “he would do whatever he wanted’ as he refused to wear protection. After achieving sexual orgasm, the Defendant, Donald J. Trump put his suit back on and when the Plaintiff, Katie Johnson, in tears asked Defendant Trump what would happen if he had impregnated her, Defendant Trump grabbed his wallet and threw some money at her and screamed that she should use the money “to get a fucking abortion’.”
“Plaintiff was subject to acts of rape, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, forcible touching, assault, battery, intentional and reckless infliction of emotional distress, duress, false imprisonment, and threats of death and/or serious bodily injury by the Defendants that took place at several parties during the summer months of 1994. The parties were held by Defendant Epstein at a New York City residence that was being used by Defendant Epstein at 9 E. 71st St. in Manhattan [known as the Wexler Mansion]. During this period, Plaintiff was a minor of age 13….”[xiii]
