Finland: 93% of Migrant Sex Crimes Committed by Migrants From Islamic Countries

A new study has found that 93 per cent of sex crimes in Finland committed by migrants are committed by migrants from Islamic countries.

An investigation by the country’s police academy revealed that 1052 asylum seekers were suspected of crimes in 2016, with two thirds of them being Iraqis.

The figures also show that out of 116 suspects of sexual offenses, 108 came from Islamic countries like Iraq (83), Afghanistan (14) and Morocco (6).

32 per cent of the crimes were rapes, while 16 per cent were gang rapes and 16 per cent were sexual harassment. Nearly half of the crimes were committed against Finnish girls under the age of 18.

Finland has a foreign born population of around 5.5 per cent, the majority of whom are Russian, Swedish, Estonian and from the former Soviet Union, meaning Muslim migrants do not make up anywhere near a majority of the immigrant population yet are responsible for the vast majority of sex crimes committed by migrants.

Last year, Finland suffered its first Islamic terror attack in history after 10 people were stabbed in central Turku, Southwest Finland by Abderrahman Bouanane, a rejected Moroccan asylum seeker.

Despite this, it was subsequently reported that Finnish authorities would consider providing returning ISIS jihadists apartments and social services to reintegrate them back into Finnish society.

As we reported last week, Finland’s Scandinavian neighbor Sweden will begin collecting statistics on the link between migrants and violent crime for the first time in over a decade as concerns grow.

Israeli High Crimes Against Humanity

Israeli High Crimes Against Humanity

by Stephen Lendman ( – Home – Stephen Lendman)

Longstanding Israeli brutality against Palestinians constitutes what the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) calls “crimes against humanity.”

They include murder, extermination, enslavement, forcible deportations, imprisonment or deprivation of freedoms in violation of international law, torture, rape and related offenses, unjustifiable persecution, forced disappearances, apartheid, and/or other inhumane acts, causing great suffering, bodily injury or serious trauma.

Israel is guilty on all of the above counts, bloody Monday in Gaza the latest example of its ruthlessness – a Ziofascist gangster state masquerading as democratic.

Monday’s horrendous toll in Gaza included 59 Palestinian men, women and children murdered in cold blood (including an 8-month-old baby from toxic tear gas inhalation), another 2,700 injured, scores seriously, countless numbers permanently disabled – for the “crime” of protesting peacefully against US-supported Israeli viciousness, causing a grave humanitarian crisis under virtual concentration camp prison conditions.

Israel and Washington despicably blamed Gazans for high crimes committed against them. An IDF spokesman accused Hamas of sending terror cells to breach the border fence to kidnap Israeli soldiers – a bald-faced lie.

No one directed Gazans to do anything. They came out voluntarily en masse, protesting peacefully against Israeli viciousness.

On Monday and on Great March of Return Friday protests since March 30, no Israeli soldiers or civilians were harmed. No Palestinian attacks against Israeli forces occurred, no riots, as falsely claimed.

Palestinian Center for Human Rights’ fieldworkers explained no Gazans were armed with guns or other weapons.

The PCHR issued a Monday statement, condemning “Israeli use excessive lethal force against the civilian demonstrators along the eastern and northern borders of the Gaza Strip as they continued to fire heavily live bullets, tear gas canisters and artillery shells, inflecting many civilian casualties” – 12 medical personnel and 8 journalists among them.

IDF General Ronen Manelis contemptibly claimed “(w)e are protecting our home,” outrageously blaming Hamas for Israeli high crimes, threatening air attacks and possible cross-border incursions if protests continue.

Israel bears full responsibility for bloody Monday, bloody Fridays preceding it, along with 11 years of illegally blockading Gaza – ruthless high crimes against humanity, as well as three preemptive wars of aggression on the Strip since December 2008.

On Monday, Washington blocked a Security Council statement, calling for a transparent probe into violence along the Israeli/Gaza border.

South Africa and Turkey responded to Monday’s massacre by recalling their ambassadors to Israel for consultations.

The international community failed to hold the Netanyahu regime responsible for mass murder.

Pro-Western UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he was “profoundly alarmed and concerned by the sharp escalation of violence and the number of Palestinians killed and injured in the Gaza protests” – disgracefully calling for restraint on both sides, showing “profound” indifference to Palestinian suffering.

Deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah disgracefully blamed Hamas for Monday’s mass slaughter – refusing to demand Israel show restraint in response to peaceful Palestinian protests.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini failed to condemn Israeli mass murder, saying only “Israel must respect the right to peaceful protest and the principle of proportionality in the use of force” – showing indifference to long-suffering Palestinians, notably Gazans.

UK PM Theresa May was no different, merely saying “(w)e are concerned by the reports of violence and loss of life in Gaza.”

Germany’s Foreign Ministry failed to condemn Monday’s mass slaughter, saying only it was “shocked and deeply concerned,” disgracefully adding:

“Israel has the right to defend itself and to secure the fence against violent incursion.” There was none nor earlier.

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov failed to condemn Israeli violence, saying “(w)e expressed common concern over the situation in the Palestinian territories, in particular, in the Gaza Strip,” adding:

“We reiterated commitment to the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly, to the principles of the Arab Peace Initiative.”

China’s Xinhua news agency failed to condemn Israel mass slaughter in a statement, saying “Palestinians clashed with Israeli troops near the Gaza-Israel border, east of Gaza City, on May 14, 2018.”

“A daylong of violent confrontations between Palestinian protesters and Israeli soldiers in eastern Gaza Strip close to the border with Israel left at least 55 Palestinians killed and 2,771 injured, said medical sources.”

Iran responded responsibly, cabinet spokesman Mohammad Bagher Nobakht saying the following:

“Certainly the awake conscience of the world is monitoring the crimes of the Zionist regime, a regime which has claims while speaking but in practice pays no respect to the minimum of human rights.”

“(T)he Islamic Republic of Iran expects the international community and especially the United Nations Security Council to be proportionately responsive to” to Israeli high crimes against defenseless Palestinians.

May 15 marks the 70th Nakba Day anniversary, an ongoing catastrophe, gravely harming millions of Palestinians at the hands of a ruthless occupier.

Israeli violence continued on Tuesday, early in the day scattered in Occupied Palestinian communities, expected to intensify later in the day.

Bloody Tuesday may follow bloody Monday. One or more follow-up reports will cover developments as they unfold.

Dr Duke – The Zionist Conspiracy Theory is NOT a THEORY – it is a FACT! Exposing Israel’s Crimes in Syria!

Today Dr. Duke had provided an in-depth analysis of the Israeli assault on Syria that you will not hear elsewhere. He drew on his rich knowledge of the history of the Israeli conflict with the Arabs, and cited various UN resolutions showing that it is Israel, and not Iran, that is the rogue nation flaunting international law. And the United States has been reduced to a colony under effective Jewish control, and, together with Israel and its little chum Saudi Arabia, we are the biggest state sponsors of terror in the world.

This is the best show on the Syrian issue that you will hear anywhere. Please share it widely. And please keep us on the air and on-line. Please visit our contribution page or send your contribution to:

Russia calls for EU nations not to become accomplices in Ukrainian war crimes

We call upon all member states of the OSCE [Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe] not to become accomplices in the Kiev regime’s war crimes, not to provoke a disastrous military conflict in the center of Europe,” Russia’s permanent representative to the organization, Aleksandr Lukashevich, said at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, Austria.

The Russian diplomat added that the so called “counter-terrorist operation” against the self-proclaimed republics of Lugansk and Donetsk was a nationalist stunt with inhuman objectives and criminal means to reach them. Lukashevich also said that the change of the operation’s format, planned by the Ukrainian authorities, would not lead to peace.

This prognosis is being confirmed by increasingly belligerent rhetoric, additional supplies of imported weapons to the Ukrainian military forces, the arrival of Western military instructors to Donbass,” he said. “We are also warning Kiev against the attempts to repeat the military escapades of 2014 and 2015,” Lukashevich said.

The envoy told the council that the OSCE’s own monitors had confirmed the reports about pro-Kiev forces violating the ceasefire and other points of the so called Minsk Accords – the plan for peaceful settlement made with participation of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France. He mentioned the capturing of new territories and construction of new defensive installations and new minefields created by Ukrainian servicemen in several districts of Donbass.

Such a strategy by pro-Kiev forces would lead to new civilian casualties, Lukashevich noted. According to monitors, five civilians were killed and 24 more were wounded as a result of Ukrainian artillery raids last April.

In a separate development, the Russian agency for fighting serious crime, the Investigative Committee, has started two new criminal cases against Ukrainian servicemen who ordered and executed recent artillery raids on civilian installations in the Donetsk Republic. The cases have been initiated on the use of banned means and methods of warfare – a crime that can carry up to 20 years in prison under Russian laws.

The Investigative Committee’s spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko told reporters on Friday that her colleagues were investigating the incident in which an artillery shell from a Ukrainian cannon hit a residential building, killing two people; as well as another incident in which a car was destroyed and one civilian was killed by artillery fire.

As it has already happened before, the main motive behind these crimes was the political and ideological hatred of Ukrainian military and national guard, caused by the refusal of Donbass people to recognize the current Kiev regime as legitimate and by their desire to found their own territorial-administrative units,” the official said.

Nazi pedophile sect: German prosecutors visit Chile for updates on sex crimes investigation of a WWII immigrant ‘colony’

Colonia Dignidad Villa Baviera

The progress of an investigation into an infamous Nazi pedophile sect that abused and tortured children has prompted German prosecutors to visit Chile.

Colonia Dignidad was initially established as an immigrant community by a group of Germans after World War II. The 13,000-hectare (50 sq mile) mountain “colony” lay in an isolated region 350km (217 miles) south of Santiago.

It was home to approximately 300 people from Nazi Germany and their descendents. In 1961 it was taken over by Paul Schaefer, a former Nazi corporal and medic.

Colonia Dignidad Villa Baviera

He transformed the community into an isolated cult where his abuse of children went unchallenged. It had its own hospital and airport and was essentially self-governed without interference from the Chilean state.

Schaefer also struck a deal with Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet which saw political dissenters imprisoned and tortured in the commune. German diplomats in the Chilean embassy allegedly turned a blind eye to this arrangement.

Dr Hartmut Hopp

German prosecutors and representatives of the justice ministry met with Chilean judicial officials for nearly two hours on Tuesday for an update on an investigation into the commune, AFP reports.

The move comes as German courts consider an appeal filed by Dr Hartmut Hopp, who fled Chile in 2011 after being convicted of complicity in 16 cases of child abuse.

Hartmut Hopp

Hopp is widely thought to have been among the closest associates of Schaefer. He managed to flee to Germany before his sentence took legal effect. He lived freely in the western town of Krefeld for several years until a German court ruled last year that he must serve his five-year sentence.

“We have shared information, provided certain documents and opened the way for witnesses to testify in Germany,”Judge Mario Carroza told reporters.

Colonia Dignidad

The lives of colony members were tightly controlled by Schaefer. He decided who married who and followers had to confess their sins to him. People lived in dormitories and worked tough manual labor jobs. Newborn babies were taken from their mothers and raised by nurse women, referred to as aunts. Colonists adopted poor Chilean children from local families, ensuring Schaefer had a steady supply of victims.

Schaefer fled to Argentina in 1996 after families of abused children filed complaints against him. Colonia Dignidad was eventually seized by Chilean authorities in 2005.

Paul Schaefer

Schaefer was deported back to Chile where he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for abusing and torturing children and other settlers. He died in April 2010.

Colonia Dignidad was renamed Villa Baviera and set up as a German themed resort. Many people who lived under Schaefer’s rule still reside there.

FAKE hate crimes galore: Muslim girl fabricated claim of being attacked for her religion, police now confirm; faces charges

Image: FAKE hate crimes galore: Muslim girl fabricated claim of being attacked for her religion, police now confirm; faces charges

(Natural News)
An alleged hate crime in suburban Washington, D.C., that made national headlines apparently has turned out to be a hoax.

A 13-year-old girl in Woodbridge, Va., claimed that a man confronted her on the street earlier this month, brandished a knife. He pulled off her hijab and covered her mouth with his hand to prevent her from summoning help. The assailant also called her a terrorist, according to the teen, WUSA9 reported.

After an investigation, detectives determined that she made up the story, the AP reported.

Prince William County police said in a statement…that further investigation into the girl’s report revealed “no altercation had occurred.”

Authorities charged the teen with knowingly filing a false police report. The case will be heard in juvenile court.

In another high-profile incident that received quite a bit of news media attention, an 11-year-old girl in Toronto, Ontario, claimed in January that a man accosted her on the way to school and cut her hijab with a pair of scissors. Canadian politicians from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on down condemned the incident. Toronto police investigated and subsequently determined that the encounter did not happen. Cops decided against filing any charges, however. The girl’s family thanked everyone for their support, said they were deeply sorry, and apologized to “every Canadian,” CTV News reported. They also admitted that like everyone else, they assumed the youngster’s story was true.

Given the way the media covers these disturbing events, it is probably understandable that many accept their validity at face value. In a summary of 2016 fake hate crimes, Natural News observed that pushing fake crime stories could constitute one of the media’s most heinous transgressions. Hate crime hoaxes also have the effect of diverting police resources from investigating real hate crimes.

According to Health Ranger Mike Adams, the founding editor of Natural News, there are far more hate crime hoaxes than actual hate crimes occurring in America, but the unhinged, anti-Trump fakestream media is incapable — or unwilling — to distinguish between the two.

Along those lines, various media outlets have claimed that a surge in hate crimes has occurred since U.S. voters ushered in the Trump administration, but various publicized incidents have turned out to be fake and sometimes orchestrated by the alleged victims themselves. Typically, there is disproportionate coverage of the allegations as opposed to any follow-up corrections. On Wednesday, the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where Assange is holed up, blocked internet access for the whistleblower. Assange’s remarks on Catalan politics, in which he equated Spanish extradition requests to fascist policies, raised the ire of Ecuador.

Sources close to WikiLeaks told RT that the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry demanded that Assange delete the tweet, which he refused to do. He has consequently been stripped of internet access and no longer allowed to meet visitors in the embassy.

This week, Assange lambasted Berlin for its decision to arrest fugitive Catalan independence movement leader Carles Puigdemont, who is wanted by the Spanish government on charges of rebellion and sedition.

Assange compared the decision to the one made by Nazi Germany when it arrested Catalan leader Lluis Companys and handed him over to the regime of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco.

The embassy reportedly installed electronic jammers to block all communications on its premises hours after an individual representing Assange’s interests was informed of “strong discomfort and concern that his declarations have caused in Ecuador’s government,” the source told RT.

American-Israeli behind the JCC bomb threats charged with hate crimes: Zio-watch News Roundup, March 1, 2018

An Israeli military official says killing Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, would be a “decisive victory” in the regime’s future war against the Arab country.

“If we manage to kill Nasrallah in the next war, I would see that as reaching a decisive victory,” Major General Yaakov Barak said on Wednesday, Haaretz reported.

Barak claimed that any future war is expected to be very different from previous ones, and that Israeli ground forces are “ready and prepared” to be sent into the Lebanese territory more quickly, widely and deeply than before.

He said that “the next war will not be a war of several days, but it won’t last several months either.”

Barak’s comments echoed remarks by Israel’s military’s chief spokesperson Brigadier General Ronen Manelis, who had said in November that Hezbollah will be a target of assassination in Tel Aviv’s next act of aggression against Lebanon.

“There won’t be a clear victory picture in the next war, though it’s clear that Nasrallah is a target,” Manelis threatened.

A top Russian security official says the US has set up around 20 military bases in areas controlled by Kurdish militants it supports in northern Syria, adding that Washington “provoked” Turkey into launching an offensive in those regions by providing the Kurds with advanced weapons.

Alexander Venediktov, an official from Russia’s Security Council, said Thursday that the establishment of peace in war-torn Syria is impeded by external interferences, particularly American meddling, in the conflict, according to Russian media.

“The return of peace and stability to Syria is hampered by continued external interference in the Syrian crisis. For example, in the territory controlled by the people’s self-defense units of Kurdistan, some 20 US military bases have been created,” Venediktov said.

Venediktov also said that Washington provoked Ankara into launching a military offensive on Syria’s Afrin by “boosting” the Kurdish militants with the most advanced weapons.

“The Kurds are being boosted with advanced weaponry. The deliveries of modern weapons and encouragement of separatist sentiments among the Kurds have in fact provoked Turkey into carrying out the military operation in Syria’s northern Afrin region,” the Russian official said.

Turkey launched the so-called Operation Olive Branch in Afrin on January 20 in a bid to eliminate the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara views as a terror organization and the Syrian branch of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

At least 29 civilians have been killed in the US-led coalition’s latest airstrikes in Syria’s eastern Dayr al-Zawr province.

According to Syria’s official SANA news agency on Sunday, the separate airstrikes targeted residential areas in al-Sha’afa and Dharat Allouni villages.

The number of those killed is expected to rise as dozens of people were also injured, some of whom are in critical condition.

The London-based Airwars organization, which tracks civilian deaths in US-led airstrikes, reported earlier this year that a total of 5,961 civilians had been killed as a result of such attacks in Iraq and Syria.

Read More:

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on November 23 last year that 2,759 civilians, including 644 minors and 470 women, had been killed in US-led aerial attacks against civilian areas in Syria over the past 38 months.

(JTA) — The British Labour Party extended its suspension of former London Mayor Ken Livingstone over his 2016 assertion that Adolf Hitler had supported Zionism in the 1930s.

The party’s National Executive Committee decided to prolong Livingstone’s one-year suspension past its April 27 expiration, BBC reported Thursday, until the conclusion of an internal probe into his conduct over allegations that his claims were anti-Semitic or otherwise offensive to Jews.

The move is the second measure applied in recent weeks against a high-profile Labour official accused of anti-Semitism. It follows accusations by leaders of British Jewry that Labour under its left-wing leader Jeremy Corbyn is whitewashing and failing to confront what they say is a proliferation of hateful rhetoric on Israel and Jews in the party’s ranks.

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Jared Kushner has had better weeks.

Kushner, who along with being the son-in-law of President Donald Trump carries the titles of assistant to the president, senior adviser to the president and director of the Office of American Innovation, had his security clearance downgraded. John Kelly, the White House chief of staff, made good on a promise to remove interim top-secret clearance from staffers who have yet to be cleared by the FBI.

What prompted the delay in clearing Kushner has not been disclosed, although the Kushner family real estate business is known to be in debt and have financial entanglements overseas. Perhaps not coincidentally, when news of the downgrade broke Tuesday, the Washington Post quoted U.S. officials as saying that officials in four nations — the United Arab Emirates, China, Mexico and Israel — have said that they see Kushner as “manipulable” through his business interests and inexperience in foreign affairs.

What does this mean for the proposal to revive Israeli-Palestinian talks that Kushner and his team are said to be releasing “soon”?

Iraqi pro-government fighters from the Popular Mobilization Units have found a mass grave in the country’s northern province of Nineveh containing the bodies of dozens of Christians believed to have been executed by Daesh Takfiri terrorists.

An unnamed source from the Syriac Orthodox Church told Arabic-language al-Ghad Press news agency that the volunteer forces, commonly known by the Arabic name Hashd al-Sha’abi, unearthed the mass grave along with security troops in Halila region near the village of Badush, located some 15 kilometers northwest of Mosul.

The source added the mass grave contains the bodies of 40 Christian victims, noting that there are the remains of women and children among the corpses. Some of the victims reportedly had small crosses with them.

The development came only two days after Iraqi army troops found a mass grave of 100 Daesh militants in al-Zarka region of the small town of Ba’aj.

Colonel Ali al-Taan told Arabic-language Basnews news agency that the corpses bore gunshot wounds to their heads and chests.

On December 9, 2017, Iraq’s Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared the end of military operations against the Daesh terrorist group in the Arab country.

The Times Blames Syria for US High Crimes on the Country

The NYT Blames Syria for US-Led High Crimes on the Country

by Stephen Lendman

The Times is a virtual mouthpiece for US imperial ruthlessness – blaming victimized nations for its high crimes of war and against humanity against them.

Its latest disinformation piece revisits East Ghouta.

The Times: “A besieged rebel stronghold near Damascus, population 400,000, it is where the forces of President Bashar al-Assad, dropped chemical weapons in 2013, crossing President Barack Obama’s notorious ‘red line that turned out to be no line at all.”

Fact: ISIS, al-Nusra and other terrorists in Syria operate as US imperial foot soldiers against its legitimate government. They’re not “rebels.”

Fact: US-supported terrorists alone used CWs numerous times, not Syrian forces. The Times disgracefully lied claiming otherwise.

The Times: “The shells, missiles and barrel bombs are still falling, exacerbating some of the war’s worst carnage. Cease-fires go unheeded. The White House is distracted.”

Fact: Unanimously adopted Security Council Res. 2401 permits combat operations against ISIS, al Nusra, and elements connected to them.

Fact: Syria and Russia scrupulous observe ceasefire terms as mandated, continuing operations against against terrorists throughout the country, including in East Ghouta, US-supported terrorists holding its residents hostage as human shields.

Washington and Turkey flagrantly breached SC Res. 2401 straightaway – continuing to commit high crimes unaccountably.

Trump escalated what Obama began – naked aggression on Syria for regime change and imperial control. There’s nothing “civil” about what’s going on, as the Times and other media scoundrels claim.

The Times: “Once upon a time, Syria was a beautiful, cultured country. Today it is a shambles, and many of us have turned away.”

Fact: The Times disgracefully blames Assad for US-led aggression, massacring civilians, inflicting enormous destruction, committing appalling atrocities, causing the world’s severest refugee crisis.

The Times: “Assad…turn(ed) (his) armies on (his) own people…”

A bald-faced lie. Throughout the war, Syrian forces have been liberating cities, towns and villages held hostage by US-supported terrorists.

The Times: “…Syrian government and Russian forces bombed (people) out of their home(s).”

US-led terror-bombing alone is responsible for mass slaughter of civilians and destruction – not Russia or Syria.

US-supported terrorists continue brutalizing and murdering civilians.

The Times and other media scoundrels blame Syria and other victims of US imperial ruthlessness for high crimes committed against them – truth-telling airbrushed from their reports.

Four Major Charities Rocked by Epidemic of Sex Abuse, Including Crimes Against Children

(RT) The UK charity sector has been rocked by claims of sexual abuse, misconduct and mistreatment by its staff all around the world.

Bombshell revelations have rained over the sector in recent weeks, after Oxfam was initially accused of abuse in Haiti. Now, charities that have become household names in Britain are being shoved under the spotlight and investigated for abuses of the world’s most vulnerable people. Stories have spiraled and donors have been left reeling.

A staggering 22 aid organizations signed a letter which apologized for what has unraveled as a massive failure to deal with abuse in the sector. ActionAid UK, Christian Aid, Cafod, Care International UK, and Voluntary Service Overseas, as well as Oxfam, Save the Children and others were among those named. Here’s a rundown of those receiving our direct debits – and what they are accused of…

During a nine-year period, 268 ‘safeguarding incidents’ were reported to Oxfam, including horror stories involving staff in Africa. Oxfam GB senior staff are said to have allowed Haitian survivors of the 2010 earthquake to be paid for sex, while some even hosted parties with prostitutes.

Roland van Hauwermeiren, a Belgian aid official, admitted that sex workers visited his residence; while six other men also left the charity. An exclusive by The Times has spiraled and led to whistleblowers coming forward to share their tales of abuse.

Since the initial scandal, further abuse claims have emerged in countries including Chad; while Penny Lawrence, deputy chief executive of Oxfam, resigned. “Across Oxfam Great Britain, we have had about 26 stories, reports, come to us which were either new reports come out as a result of the stories, or earlier stories where people said, ‘I didn’t necessarily report this at the time,’” Mark Goldring told the government’s International Development Committee.

Investigations are taking place internally and at government level.

Save the Children

Save the Children has been alerted to 176 incidents involving the possible abuse of children by its workers over a period of three years. A total of 35 cases of sexual harassment were reported at Save the Children International last year, while in 2016 a reported 53 cases were investigated.

Kevin Watkins, chief executive of Save the Children UK, told MPs that a total of 19 staff are believed to have been dismissed. A further 11 are believed to have been dismissed by Save the Children International. Watkins blamed “predatory men” who seek out work in the charity sector to be able to get to vulnerable people. Staff are also calling for the removal of Sir Alan Parker as the charity’s international chairman.

Women in the charity have made allegations of unwanted advances by Justin Forsyth, the former chief executive, and Brendan Cox, the former policy director and widow of Jo Cox, the murdered MP.

Catholic aid organization CAFOD confirmed it has dismissed a member of staff who was named in the Oxfam Haiti scandal.

“When we were made aware, we immediately put the staff member on leave to investigate in line with our Code of Behavior protocol,” CAFOD said. “We can confirm that the individual has been dismissed today. Our review found that there have been no formal complaints of misconduct about the employee during his time at CAFOD.

“We requested and yesterday received a reference from Oxfam GB Headquarters which confirmed the allegations against him. His failure to disclose the circumstances of his departure from Oxfam are in breach of CAFOD’s Code of Behavior.”

The charity said it also reviewed two historical cases of sexual misconduct allegations against its staff.

International Red Cross

The Red Cross, one of the most recognized aid organizations in the world, has also been caught up in the scandal. The International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed that 21 workers had been sacked or resigned from their roles since 2015, after paying for sexual services.

A further two staff members suspected of sexual misconduct did not have their contracts renewed, Yves Daccord, the ICRC’s director-general, said in a statement on Friday. Daccord said there are rules on sexual behavior, and that individuals had broken them. “This behavior is a betrayal of the people and the communities we are there to serve. It is against human dignity and we should have been more vigilant in preventing this,” Daccord said.
