Will America Be Around for Armageddon?

Whenever we are dealing with potential world war in the Middle East, we are dealing with the potential for Armageddon. The prospect of the final war is frightening indeed. Even though we could be living in the final days, we may not even realize it. Why? This is true because truth is often the first casualty of war. Even the President has issued an order which basically hides the events of the Middle East from the American citizens.

Former CIA operative, Cody Snodgres, sent me an email stating that we have both been recently targeted for extreme censorship. The nature of both of our works does make us likely targets of censorship. In fact, a recent video was snatched right out of a recent article on The Common Sense Show. What the Satanists don’t want you to hear is what follows as I take a brief look at what the Bible says about America and the end days.

When our normal communications are blocked, we have to rely on the word of God, which we should be doing anyway, for direction and warning of what is to come. In fact, it have been pointed out to me that we have been warned by the Bible, mutliple times about the times we apparently live in and America’s future in it.

Israel and the desperate central bankers will drive us to war. I captured the essence of this warning in yesterday’s publication when i wrote a hypothetical conversation between Netanyahu, Trump and Rothschild. I based some of the mythical, but very likely conversation, on Biblical phrases like what we find in Zech.1:15-2:5, in which a war that was fought almost 2500 years ago, bears a striking resemblance to today. There was a war ending with Jerusalem comprised of villages without walls (the result of a treaty of the “many peoples”). The obvious parallel, as one reader told me, would be the United Nations and their provocation for war.

In Daniel 9:27, we see the  the false prophet (The Prince of 9:26 from Rome) was being provoked by Israel. It is my contention in the previously referenced article that Netanyahy and Israel will drag us into a fateful World War. Iran, ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood as well as Syria have prophecized their version of the final days as well.

We have absolute proof that the United States can be discovered in the Bible. Daniel  said, “I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it. (Daniel 7: 2-4).”

Keep in mind America’s national symbol is the Eagle.

The modern nations represented by the Russian bear, the German leopard with wings of a fowl, the French Rooster, and Daniel’s dreadful Fourth Beast, the last superpower on earth.

In modern times, the lion, the first Beast, is most clearly associated with Great Britain. The British Lion is universally recognized in the Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom and several national emblems, flags as well as several British coins. The American Eagle is associated with the British Lion because the United States of America was plucked up from the British Empire when the citizens of the thirteen original American colonies declared their independence in 1776. However, there is bad news for the United States. In Daniel chapter 7, the four beasts depict four individual nations. In Revelation chapter 13, the Apostle John saw a vision of only one beast where there had been four beasts. The one beast was described as having the body of the leopard, the feet of the bear, the mouth of the lion, and the ten horns of the ten-horned beast. This merger of the beasts is forseen in Revelation 13 which is desscribing the endtime world government and it is controlled by the Antichrist. All of the beasts in Daniel chapter 7 have now merged into this one unified beast, except for one, and that would be the United States. The eagle’s wings, America’s universal symbol are not mentioned in the description of the world government beast. This is not proprietary information, as it is clearly laid out in the Bible. However, we often fail to ask the question, where did the missing “Eagle” (ie America) go?

Many have taken the aforementioned prophecy and applied it to the premature desstruction of the United States by stating that America will be destroyed in the upcoming World War III, the war that will kill over 2 billion people.  However, there is another view, another possibility.

Under President Trump’s leadership, America has become nationalistic, even to the point where other world leaders have warned the US to abandon its nationalistic position and have commanded us to adopt a “globalist” perspective.

Could this lead to alternative path?

Based in  the Trump influence of  “Making America Great Again, The United States vould very well be awakened to the Satanic dangers of globalism and pull back from the brink of destruction.

We know, for certain, that the antichrist’s one-world governmental system  is coming. However, we cannot be certain that it is coming in our time and this is why Trump’s nationalistic movement is so important in terms of pulling back from the brink of the Satanic New World Order, at least in the present moment. The Bible tells us we will not know the time of the return of Jesus. So, nobody alive today, knows for certain.

Some have looked for scriptural evidence in the Bible that the US is still here after World War III. Keep in mind that the Euphrates River War described in Revelation 9: 13-21? In Revelation 12:13, the dragon, Satan is depicted making war against Israel. Then, Israel is rescued by “two wings of a great eagle.” Could that be the United States?

Prophecy then clearly states in (Revelation 12:14) that the woman (ie Israel) were given two wings of a great eagle (ie the US?), that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where “she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent” (Revelation 12:14).

A Pastor friend of mine believes that the United States is around at the 3.5 years before Satan begins to come against Israel three and one-half years before Armageddon. (Daniel 7: 4).

Trump’s blackout of news media coverage is symbolic of the fact that Christians cannot be sure about where we are at until the end days are here.

Trying to predict America’s place in the end days is very confusing and difficult because, as stated, we do not know the time of Christ’s glorious return. There are strong indicators that America will not survive. However, there are several rays of hope that America is mentioned as the Tribulation approaches. I am of the opinion that the America we know will not survive in its present form. And when we look at the Deagel and the America2050.0rg predictions, it is clear from these two sources believe that we will not be around. However, these two sources are not the Bible and therefore, America still has some degree of hope. However, if we do not repent, and I do not see that happening, and stop killing millions of innocent babies, our country does not deserve to survive.

The best thing we can do, right now, is to confess Jesus and repent and enourage our neighbors to do the same.

Is the Golden Era for renewables around the corner?

Some say that renewables are not an existential threat and believe that they might take only a small piece of the pie by 2040, due to high costs and vital government subsidies. On the other hand, others believe that costs are declining fast, and it may take a significant share in power generation, knocking not just coal, but also natural gas off the throne.

The fact remains that things are changing quite fast due to technological advancements. The breakeven cost of various renewable energy sources has come down significantly, and wind and solar energy are leading the charge. Total global cumulative wind power capacity reached 540 gigawatt (GW) at the end of 2017, up from 93 GW in 2007. Meanwhile, solar went up from 100 GW in 2012 to close to 405 GW in 2017, a four-fold increase. Photovoltaic(PV)solar even surpassed nuclear generation capacity (403 GW in 2017).

The role of renewables is only marginal in the total energy mix, but growing fast, and in the next few decades, it is likely to become a tough competitor for oil and gas. Surely, sources that are economically viable, easily accessible and environmentally friendly will sneak their way to the top of podium by 2040.

Renewable Capacity Outperformed

In the past, the high cost of renewable energy generation constrained investments in the sector. However, due to technological advancements, the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) reduction for PV solar and wind energy have boosted the competitiveness of these sources against well-established power generation technologies, such as coal and natural gas. In 2017, the US average LCOE without subsidy for PV without tracking was $54/MWh, with onshore wind at $51/MWh, versus gas-fired generation at $49, coal $66 and nuclear at $174/MWh. The continuous declining trend in costs of renewable energy led to an upsurge in capacity and investments.

In 2017, 260 GW of net power generating capacity was added. The renewable industry invested $280 billion in 2017, adding 150 GW of solar (98 GW) and wind (52 GW); both added 58 percent as compared to 28 percent of gas (38 GW) and coal (35 GW). Large hydro and nuclear respectively added 19 and 11 GW.

Inherent Problem

Despite declining LCOE, the real issue with renewables is what happens when the sun is not shining and wind is not blowing. The intermittent nature of the power flow from either solar or wind remains a problem. Therefore, renewable energy continues to rely on the grid to meet any shortfalls or peak demand.

Tesla installed the world’s largest lithium-ion battery in South Australia in December 2017, which would prevent a reoccurrence of a notorious incident that took place in 2016 when the entire state lost power. The significant decline in battery prices and other cost cutting measures will further help the renewable sector to grow independent from government subsidies and without relying on grid support.

Bright Outlook For Renewable

The dominance of fossil fuels which in 2017 made up about 85 percent of the total energy mix seems to be challenged by two contenders: the penetration of electric vehicles and renewable energy sources. These together are supported by a change in mindset of the public which is increasingly concerned about greenhouse gas emissions and the environment in general. The next couple of decades will be challenging for the oil, coal, and natural gas sectors, particularly in the transport and power sectors. Coal is already in decline, and next could be natural gas.

According to a Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) study, solar and wind will gain a large share of global installed capacity by 2040 as compared to 2016. The share of both will rise immensely from 12 percent in 2016 to 46 percent in 2040 while the role of fossil fuels in power generation is expected to shrink.

Surely we cannot eliminate fossil fuels usage in our daily lives, it will remain an integral part of our life for a long time to come. Yet the golden era of renewables is just around the corner as preference and cost favor renewables over fossil fuels, a development that will improve the quality of life of many segments in society.

Interview: Been around the world and still loved, Lisa Stansfield is back with ‘Deeper’

Mention Lisa Stansfield and you can’t help singing ‘Been around the world and I, ay, ay. I can’t find my baby…” The 1989 single “All Around The World” was a monster hit all across the globe for the elfin lass from the Northern English town of Rochdale. Less than a decade later, Puff Daddy would sample it in his 1997 single “Been Around The World” featuring the Notorious BIG, searing the song further into our collective unconscious. Stansfield went on to achieve more success during the nineties with a clutch of albums and hits like “Change,”  “All Woman,” and “So Natural.” In the early aughts, she took the pedal to the metal, having retreated to Ireland and largely staying out of the spotlight. Now she is back with Deeper, her 8th album.

Blessed with a unique voice that was the epitome of Northern Soul, she sounded like a female-Barry White. “When I first went to America – it wasn’t like it is today when you have the internet and you can see what this person looks like – they were all expecting this really big and really black singer, ” explained the 56-year-old, in her heavy Northern drawl, over a phone call to AXS from the U.K.  “And I’m like this skinny white girl from Rochdale,” she laughed. “Every single radio station I went to, the DJ would say to me ‘when is Lisa coming in?’ And I would say ‘I am Lisa!”

She had her breakout moment in the late ’80s when pioneering pop samplers Coldcut had her as a guest vocalists on their  single “People Hold On.” The relative unknown was then poised for the big time with her strong debut Affection. Several of her own songs would become dance staples through the decades. Proving she hasn’t lost her touch, her current U.S. single “Never Ever” recently hit Number One in the Billboard Dance Club songs chart.

The rest of the new album with it’s soulful vocals and feel good, dance grooves will immediately take old fans back to the ’90s. You can imagine someone throwing shapes on the dance floor today with “Desire.” The title track which she admits is the truest love song she’s ever written, nicely showcases her deeper, dense vocals. While “Billionaire” feels almost too formulaic, the quiet ballad “Coming Up For Air” is irresistible.

Having played to rave reviews on her recent UK tour, she has now embarked on her European tour which has sold out several dates in countries like Germany and Austria. Delighted that diehards as well as younger faces are turning out to see her,  she has plans to tour the U.S. next, in the Summer. We spoke to the straight-talking Stansfield to chat about her new album and working with Ian Devaney – her husband and musical partner for 30 years. She also tells us why she won’t be a judge on reality singing shows and jokes about what she will do when she no longer has her looks.

AXS: Great to see your new album “Deeper” doing so well? What was the impetus to make this record because you took a break for a good 10–15 years?

Lisa Stansfield: Well from America I did. It’s just the way things happened. I’ve never been the sort of person to have this big massive plan for my whole life, Svengali-like, I did take my eye of the ball for a bit but that’s my life. Anyway, it’s like someone was still dribbling the ball down the pitch for me because people want me to come back. I’m very, very lucky. It’s lovely. And I must tell you I am making up for lost time.

AXS: The album really took me back to my youth, on weekends when you were getting ready to go out, that let’s-go-and-dance-the-night-away vibe?

LS: Yeah, it really is like that. When I used to get ready to go out – putting my make-up on, having a little drink before stepping out,  I would always put on something a little energetic to get in the mood.

AXS: What songs would you have put on back in the day?

LS: Prince, Chaka Khan, really energetic sort of songs, you know serious music; like I’m going to rock the world tonight. That’s how you should feel when you go out, even if it’s just for five hours, you should feel like the queen or king of the world.

AXS: The first song that really stood out on first listen was “Hole In My Heart” – who were you singing about?

LS: I’ve been in a relationship for 30 years. So I steal from people, like I could be out somewhere and maybe there’s a couple in a corner fighting, or someone’s crying. And it could be quite innocent but my over-active imagination runs riot. I used to live in Ireland, just outside Dublin, near the famous Irish novelist Maeve Binchy. And people used to say ‘don’t ever talk to her. Or talk around her because she lips read and she takes all out stories.’ And I’m a bit like that, a little nosey. You have to be careful if you have a situation going on because it might end up in one of my songs. (laughs) I’m a pilferer and a thief.

AXS: There’s a real parallel for you between songwriting and acting where you imagine you are as someone else.

LS: Exactly. You’ve hit the nail on the head. You’re writing and you’re acting this mini story out in your head.

AXS: Why did you choose to do a cover of “Ghetto Heaven” – it’s just interesting cause you could do Barry White or more songs in that grain? It’s kind of obscure.

LS: Well, I’ve done that already. I was lucky enough to sing with Barry and we became good friend. “Ghetto Heaven” was on the first album by the Family Stand. It came out around the same time as my debut album Affection. That was my favorite song at the time.

AXS: Do you have a favorite track of this album – mine’s probably “Coming Up For Air?”

LS: Really. That’s great! Everyone picks a different song. Usually there’s one or two songs that everyone picks. Mine’s probably “Love of My Life,” it’s a fun piece about the place where I came from: Rochdale. It’s about going out to your local club and finding the love of your life; it’s like you’re going to win the lottery and make all your dreams come true. That’s what all those little Northern towns were like, not unlike most towns in America. There’s a community, a local club and who’s going to meet who tonight – or someone new that could change their lives.

AXS: You’re still married to Ian, who you knew in high school and have continued to work together for three decades. The annuals of rock n roll are filled with stories of explosive creative partnerships – what’s your secret? I saw an interview when you said you don’t bring a domestic into the studio – how is that even possible?

LS: I don’t know. I think it’s just some kind of switch that goes on in your subconscious. It’s not like it’s penance or anything, you just slip into it. And it’s quite nice. If you have a falling out or something is niggling before you go into the studio, by the time you get out, you’ve forgotten it anyway.

AXS: I understand you’ve been asked to judge those TV reality shows but you always say no. Is it the sort of fame-grab that those shows can sometimes be about that you don’t like?

LS: It’s all based on the wrong reasons. And a big reason is I don’t want to judge other people because nobody ever took away my integrity. So I don’t want to do that to anybody else. They strip all the personality of the lovely person and make them like everybody else.

AXS: If you could do our own reality TV show – how would you do it?

LS: People can just do whatever the fu*k they like. It’d probably be pretty good. (laughs) Listen, mainstream Saturday night TV for the last 40 – 50 years has always been abysmal. And in the future it will be too. There’s nothing we can do, so either turn it off …

AXS: Or if it’s a Saturday night – put on Lisa Stansfield and get ready to go out!

LS: Exactly.

AXS: At the same time when you can write songs like ”Just Can’t Help Myself” – with 90s Bristol production, big violins and lovely melodies; or “Coming Up For Air” and “Everything” I understand why you refuse to do reality shows.

LS: It’s an adventure, I’m escaping my life now. I don’t have anything to lose anymore. If this album fails, it will only hurt my pride because I think it’s a really good album. How I feel is not based on how many people buy or don’t buy my album so I have nothing to lose, I can just go for it which is the best way to make music.

AXS: There’s a slew of UK soul artist from Adele to Amy Winehouse that were no doubt inspired by you. You’ve mention trying to sing “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele, any other current female singer-songwriters out there you’ve been listening to?

LS: When I was younger, I used to sing to “I’m Every Woman” to see if I could sing all those notes, now I sing to Adele. I also listen to Jesse Ware and there’s hundreds of different female singers but now that you’ve gone and asked me, I can’t think of any others. You know I don’t like it when people say ‘nowadays music is not the same.’ Well, thank God it isn’t! You can’t have it stagnant and the same all the time. People usually think what went before is always better, it’s a cycle anyway. There’s always good music, you just have to find it. Don’t look on the bloody X-Factor, go online, be an explorer.

AXS: During the time when you stepped away from the spotlight and making music, you were concentrating on acting and did a theater run of “The Vagina Monologues” as well as appeared in films and Television. Is it true that you were once offered the lead on “Indecent Proposal?”

LS: I was! Which is quite unbelievable but then all of my stories are like that; ridiculous! The director Adrian Lyne had seen a billboard with my face on it at the time; he thought I was pretty and maybe I might be perfect for the part. I got my start on TV as a presenter when I was younger and had always done acting in school plays, so in some ways, acting is like second nature to me. But of course, I wasn’t right for the part, I was a pawn in some Hollywood game. I did get to work on the soundtrack with the composer John Barry who was a friend, so that was nice.

AXS: I saw “Northern Exposure” the film where you played a Northern mother and you were excellent in it. I gather that acting is now your back-up plan?

LS: For acting, I enjoy working on tension material. So when the face doesn’t have it anymore, or the boobs and bottom, (laughs) I will still have the brain and hopefully I can still remember lines.

Check out these eco-friendly festivals from around the world

What could be better than a group of like-minded individuals gathering together in the middle of bucolic fields to dance and sing with their favorite musicians for the weekend? In theory, music festivals should be an idyllic celebration of nature, song, and camaraderie. In reality, the environmental impact of festivals is quite sobering.

Rolling Stone reported that in 2015, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, with around 90,000 attendees in southeast Tennessee, generated more than 979 tons of waste in just four days. Breaking it down per person, that’s around twice the amount an average U.S. consumer uses in one day. The biggest culprits at fests? Single-use plastic: think water bottles, beer cups, wrappers, plates, and utensils.

If you want to take a hard look at each festival’s impact and what green initiatives they are taking on, the Sustainable Concerts Working Group suggests keeping these five factors top of mind:

Encouraging or offering mass transit/carpool/bikes to get there (anything but a private car or jet)
Reducing landfill waste (looking at you, single-use plastics!)
    Sourcing local, sustainable food
Reducing emissions through renewable energy sources
Communicating progress and initiatives through key stakeholders

Read on to see what these five festivals are doing to reduce their carbon footprint, one beer cup at a time.

Cities around the world should prepare for running out of water, experts say

It’s called “Day Zero”: when Cape Town, South Africa’s bustling port city, sees its water taps run dry, and its population thrust into a perilous situation.

Originally projected for this year, the impending crisis has been delayed in part by severe measures — the city instituted restrictions that amount to less than one sixth of an average American’s water consumption. Yet despite that effort, “Day Zero” is still projected to arrive next year.

And when it comes, the crisis will see the government switching off all the taps and rationing the resource through collection points.

That future isn’t just Cape Town’s. It’s a scenario cities around the globe may face, experts say.

It may be hard to fathom just how cities could be at risk of a water scarcity crisis when approximately 70 percent of the world is made up of the resource. The stark reality, however, is that the percentage of fresh water probably only amounts to about 2.5 percent, according to often-cited assessments.

Listen to the mesmerizing sounds of 36 places around the world

From cities and villages to jungles and shores, 36 people in 33 countries on 6 continents recorded the sounds of the places they call home. Take a listen here.

Calling all chronic sufferers of wanderlust, we’ve got a quick fix that might soothe that urge … even if just for a few minutes. The travel website Orbitz has put together this undeniably nifty collection that presents one of the more overlooked (or, underheard) elements of travel: Namely, sounds.

The company asked 36 people across the globe to make recordings of the places they live, and the results are a wonderful panoply of birds and bike bells, horse clops and car honks … and a lot of waves crashing. (Why is the sound of waves coming ashore so remarkably soothing, anyway?)

And while each sound clip is also accompanied by a photo, one need not even have the eyes open to enjoy the journey. Just sit back, and surround yourself with sound … while crashing waves and birdsong transport you to another world.

Blue Moon In Libra: Realizations & Obstacles Around Self-Interests & Relations

Next Story

We are having a Full Moon in Libra on March 31st which will be exact at 12:37 pm Universal Time, however, the Moon will appear fullest on the night of March 30th in the Americas. This being the second Full Moon of the calendar month of March, makes it the second ‘Blue Moon’ of this year which is a rare occurrence.

The themes of any Full Moon develop during the week leading up to it and are strongest in the days before and after. The Full Moon initiates the second half of the Lunar cycle, and the astrological configurations that are active when the Moon is Full continue to have an impact on us until the next New Moon, two weeks later.

We have been in the Aries season since March 20th, and Mercury also went retrograde in the same sign a few days later. (Read more about it here). This is a period of adjustments, shifts, and reflection on how we incorporate the themes of this sign. Aries is about independence, self-interests, action, leadership, and individuality. It is bold and brave.

This sign can also be impatient, inconsiderate, aggressive, and overly anxious. As a very direct, quick, assertive, and forward sign, it can lack thoroughness. This particular Full Moon highlights the opposite sign Libra into the equation which can help create circumstances and awareness that helps us to see how we may have been expressing the more negative qualities of Aries.

Libra is about balance, relationships, consideration, fairness, equality, partnerships, and aesthetics. It is diplomatic, social, and looks at different sides of things and tries to find common ground. However, Libra can also be overly considerate, indecisive, contemplative, and too invested in relationship interests. As a result it could lack action and could refrain from pursuing things independently and in the interests of oneself.

The Libra Full Moon brings up this polarity and we could experience challenges or a push-pull effect of these signs. Ultimately, we should seek and apply some sort of integration and balance of these energies, bringing in more of the positive qualities to work harmoniously with each other.

Sun Conjunct Mercury Retrograde

At the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is aligned with Mercury Retrograde which will be exact the following day. This is known as the ‘inferior conjunction,’ a period in which many of the themes of this retrograde may be highlighted. This can be a time of heightened realizations and insights, however, the usual problematic effects of the retrograde may be more apparent because of this, in some cases.

Traditionally, the ‘inferior conjunction’ is seen as a period of purification and renewal for Mercury. It is sort of like a ‘seeding’ period in which any of the developments or realizations we receive can affect the way we apply our minds over the coming months. Pay attention to what is happening in your life on April 1st and reflect on what you need to integrate or change based on what has transpired.

Full Moon And Mercury In Aspect With The Lunar Nodes

The Sun/Mercury in Aries, and Moon in Libra, are in aspect with the Nodes of the Moon which sort of echo similar themes. The North Node is in Leo, which similarly to Aries, is more self-oriented and has leadership qualities. As a Fire sign, both are about passion, inspiration, courage, and confidence. The South Node in Aquarius is relationship oriented, like Libra, and as an Air sign it is intellectual and social.

Considering Mercury is Retrograde in Aries, combined with the North Node being in Leo, we are in a time of evolutionary growth in how we incorporate the Fire element and self-interests. If we are overly considerate of our relationships and social dynamics, this can be getting in the way of our individual needs. If we overthink things instead of taking the lead and being bold with what inspires us, this can also hold us back. However, ultimately this is about reconfiguring a new balance in terms of how we incorporate these two sides.

Mars Conjunct Saturn In The Mix With Mercury And The Full Moon

This Full Moon is in a separating T-square aspect with a Mars-Saturn conjunction which will be strongest on April 2nd, yet its energy will continue to play out over the following days with Mercury triggering it in a square of its own. This Moon cycle was also initiated by a New Moon aligned with Chiron in a square with Mars which is the ruler of Aries.

Ultimately all of this combined with Mercury Retrograde in Aries points to issues related to how we express Aries and Mars energy negatively. This could look different for everybody. We may have to address anger or aggression issues, or challenges in how we assert ourselves individually and in our relationships. Other themes solely associated with Mars could be about wounds around masculine energy, sexuality, and our desires.

Mars conjunct Saturn in Capricorn on its own can be a great time for any sort of disciplined, committed, or concentrated effort towards responsibilities, ambitions, career, or applying structure in some area of our lives. However this, or lack of it, may be the source of any problems that come up at this time.

It may also be a period of initiating a commitment related to the Mars/Aries themes mentioned above. However, we may also need to get real about the way we assert ourselves, or don’t assert ourselves enough, and therefore could potentially face struggles and obstacles.

Mercury retrograde will be squaring both Mars and Saturn from April 3rd-5th during which time our reflections or circumstances may express the potentials mentioned above. In some cases, we may revisit issues from the past associated with these themes. At worst, this can manifest as verbal conflicts as well as challenges, limitations, and restrictions to our thinking or communicative efforts.

Venus Entering Taurus And Moving Towards A Trine With Saturn

The ruler of this Full Moon, Venus, will be entering Taurus which is the other sign that it rules and is very comfortable in. Generally speaking, Venus in this sign is a time in which we approach relationships, love, and our overall social lives in a practical manner and potentially somehow based on what it is that we value. It is also a period in which we seek out quality in what brings us pleasure in our lives.

Venus will also be moving towards a trine with Saturn which will be exact a week later on April 6th-7th. After all of the potentially troubling and challenging potentials of the Mars and Saturn aspects mentioned, this helps to bring stabilization to Venus ruled areas of relationships, values, money, or even anything to do with aesthetics.

Things To Consider At This Time

In what ways do you need to strike a balance between consideration and action? How can you approach your relationships and partnerships in a way in which your own needs are met as well? In what ways do you need to get real about where you stand with your relations? What are your limitations in these areas and how can you put more effort into improving them? Perhaps you make may need to end or make major changes in a relationship or partnership?

How can you be more responsible in the way you assert yourself with others and/or vice versa? Do you or someone else in your life have issues around expressing anger or aggression? If so, maybe you should consider the root of these issues and look into ways to help release the tension, stress, and wounds that is causing this.

These are just some examples of what can be coming up for you at this time. If you wish to do any sort of intentional release from something in your life, it is best to do so anytime after the Moon starts to wane following the exact moment of the Full Moon. However, keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde and that it is not always the best time to make big decisions unless it is something that you have been revisiting from the past or if you truly feel that you need to. As mentioned, you may get more clarity around certain areas in your life on April 1st which could be helpful in how you proceed over the coming weeks. Police Release Dashcam of Cop Killing Unarmed Man with His Pants Around His Ankles

dashcamdashcam

Houston, TX — Last Thursday, a Harris County Sheriff’s deputy pulled up to an intersection where a mentally ill man was causing a scene, walking around with his pants around his ankles. Within just 30 seconds of arriving on the scene, Deputy Cameron Brewer exited his car and summarily executed 34-year-old Danny Ray Thomas.

As TFTP reported on Monday, the incident was captured on a bystander’s cellphone video. However, on Monday night, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office released the deputy’s dashcam footage showing how senseless the killing was.

Witnesses said Thomas was “walking in the middle of the intersection of Imperial Valley and Greens Road with his pants around his ankles, talking to himself and hitting vehicles as they passed by,” according to a press release Friday from HPD.

According to police and the video, Thomas—obviously in the midst of a severe mental break down—was wandering in the street when he slapped the hood of a white car. The driver of the car then got out and confronted Thomas before Brewer saw the altercation and stepped out of his SUV.

Police claim Thomas “had an object in his hand.” However, it is perfectly clear from the dashcam video that there was no such object.

The driver of the car proved how little of a threat Thomas was as he shoved the mentally ill man in the chest and received no retaliation. The officer saw this happen as well, yet he still chose to pull out his pistol instead of a taser, pepper spray, or baton.

“Get down, man! Get on the ground, I’m gonna fucking shoot you,” the deputy screams as Thomas refuses to listen. Seconds later, a single gunshot rings out as bystanders scream in horror. The shot would kill Thomas.

On Monday, as the NY Times reported, the Harris County sheriff, Ed Gonzalez, vowed that the shooting would be fully investigated and said the department had released the dashboard video as a sign of its transparency. The Houston Police Department is leading the investigation of the shooting because it occurred within the city, but the sheriff’s department is conducting a separate administrative review, Sheriff Gonzalez said.

“We are going to take this very seriously,” Sheriff Gonzalez said at a news conference on Monday. “We are going to review all policies and procedures to see how we can continue to be better and learn from these situations.”

When asked why there was no body camera video released—despite Brewer being issued one—the department claimed that the camera was off and still charging in his patrol car when he came upon the intersection.

Convenient, indeed.

Before the video was released, HPD claimed that the deputy “feared for his life” because the mentally ill man with his pants around his ankles somehow appeared to be a serious threat.

“Fearing for his safety, the deputy discharged his duty weapon, striking Thomas once in the chest, ” Houston Police said.

However, we see that the man whose car he slapped did not think so, and in fact proved it by shoving him.

As TFTP reported on Monday, family members said he was the father of two young children who died in 2016 after their mother allegedly drowned them in a bathtub.

Marketa Thomas, Danny’s sister told reporters that she and her brother had both struggled with depression and that there was “no justification” to kill him.

“Knowing that he was OK when I woke up every day made me fine,” she told reporters at the scene. “And knowing that my brother is no longer here – you think I’m going to be fine? I’m not going to be fine. That’s my brother.”

Below is the disturbing video.

WATCH: Unarmed Man with Pants Around His Ankles Publicly Executed by Police

anklesankles

Houston, TX — Graphic cellphone footage was recently released showing the killing of an unarmed and apparently mentally ill man by a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The victim, identified as 34-year-old Danny Ray Thomas was pronounced dead after an unidentified officer shot him Thursday afternoon.

The driver of the car then got out and confronted Thomas before the unidentified officer saw the altercation and stepped out of his SUV.

“Thomas then struck a white vehicle, and the driver exited and engaged in a physical altercation with the suspect,” Houston Police said. The deputy saw the altercation and stopped his car.

HPD claimed that the deputy “feared for his life” because the mentally ill man with his pants around his ankles somehow appeared to be a serious threat. The officer claimed that Thomas “continued to advance” toward him, so he had no other option than to kill the unarmed man.

“Fearing for his safety, the deputy discharged his duty weapon, striking Thomas once in the chest, ” Houston Police said.

Police claim Thomas “had an object in his hand” however that is not apparent in the video and no weapon was recovered at the scene.

“We have not recovered a weapon at this point,” Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jason Spencer told the Chronicle, alluding to the ridiculous notion that they may find one later.

Family members told local media that Thomas had recently had a mental breakdown after losing both of his childing in 2016.

As the Houston Chronicle reports, family members said he was the father of two young children who died in 2016 after their mother allegedly drowned them in a bathtub.

“That’s my flesh and my blood,” she said through tears. “We’ve been through everything together. He had my back through everything. And he promised me he wouldn’t leave me, and he didn’t leave me. Somebody took him from me.”

In the video, we can see Thomas slowly scoot toward the officer with his pants around his ankles. Exactly why the officer resorted to deadly force so quickly is unclear, however.

As the woman who took the video asked, “why didn’t he just tase him?”

Indeed, the cop’s irrational fear apparently took over and he made no attempts at less than lethal force and now a man that needed help is dead.

Although a truck pulls in front of the camera just before the officer shoots, we can still clearly see that Thomas posed very little threat as his pants were around his ankles.

The video is below.

As TFTP has previously reported, the Virginia-based Treatment Advocacy Center, an organization dedicated to eliminating the barriers faced by those with severe mental illnesses, released a jaw-dropping report in 2015. In their report titled, Overlooked in the Undercounted: The Role of Mental Illness in Fatal Law Enforcement Encountersresearchers discovered that people with an untreated mental illness are 16 times more likely to be killed during an interaction with police than anyone else.

According to the study, by all accounts – official and unofficial – a minimum of 1 in 4 fatal police encounters ends the life of an individual with severe mental illness.

Where official government data regarding police shootings and mental illness have been analyzed – in one U.S. city and several other Western countries – the findings indicate that mental health disorders are a factor in as many as 1 in 2 fatal law enforcement encounters.

This startling number highlights a critical problem with police and how they handle incidents with the mentally ill and it explains why Thomas’ life was ended that day.

Yorkshire Ripper needs white stick to get around jail after botched op leaves him blind

The 71-year-old, who is serving 20 life sentences for murdering 13 women and attempting to kill another seven, has been left in need of a white cane for assistance after an injection which was supposed to improve the sight in his right eye ended up blinding him completely. Sutcliffe had already lost the sight in his left eye in 1997, due to an altercation with a fellow inmate.

The Ripper told a friend: “They have f***** up my eyesight. They bodged it and I can’t see at all. I can’t watch the TV or read letters and emails. I made a cuppa but missed the cup with the milk — it’s awful,” the Sun reports. A “buddy” is now supposedly pushing the serial killer’s wheelchair around Frankland Prison, County Durham.

It comes after tens of thousands of taxpayers’ money have been spent trying to improve the Ripper’s right eye, which had worsened over recent years because of his diabetes. In August he reportedly underwent a £2,000 laser surgery operation in a bid to clear his vision. That was on top of a two-year eye treatment that had cost UK taxpayers thousands.

Neil Jackson, whose mother Emily was Sutcliffe’s second victim in 1976, said he was angry and horrified that the killer had been granted the treatment, the Sun reports. Jackson, 59, said: “They should have let him go blind. He never had any pity on anyone so why should society bend over backwards to make him happy.”

The 71-year-old was jailed 35 years ago, after police caught Sutcliffe with a 24-year-old prostitute called Olivia Reivers on January 2.

Sutcliffe committed his murders – perpetrated mainly against prostitutes – between 1957 and 1980. Police caught him when they realized he was using false number plates. The day after catching Sutcliffe, police returned to the arrest scene, where they found a rope, knife and hammer that he had dumped there. Sutcliffe admitted to his crimes two days later.
